My experience with this location was awesome. The staff was very courteous and professional. I was personally dealing with an employee named Keith and Dorene(?). Keith helped facilitate an out of state shipment on an auction purchase I make from the local PD. He and his staff kept communication open and made the transaction flawless. He responded timely to any request or needs I had via email or phone. I felt like their only customer and that is a great feeling. I visited a previous time to mail a package. Customer service was quick and good. They offer printing services, mailing services, and faxing. MAILBOXES -- Most recently, I came on 7 May 2019 to get a small personal mailbox (not a P.O, Box). It is great that UPS offers people an actual mail address especially for those who are traveling for a few months and need their mail delivered or people whose lifestyle do not allow for a permanent home such as truckers. If you need important packages delivered to you and you don't want to use your work address then consider getting a personal mailbox. I've began to sell many of my used clothes and I don't want to put my actual apartment address as the return mail address so a personal mailbox address helps. Basically, your address will be the address of the UPS store and then you would add a box number (# ) where you mail goes too. You can get a small box, medium size, or large box. Each mailbox varies in cost with the smaller one being cheaper. If you get a big package delivered that can't fit into your mailbox, then UPS will hold your package for you -- a slip will be put in your mailbox which signals to you that you have received a package that is ready for pickup. Michelle who assisted me was very helpful and explained to me the mailbox options (3 months, or 6 months, or even longer). I got a small box, signed the paperwork, and got my mailbox key. It only costs $10 to get a mailbox key which you get back once your membership option expires. You also have to pay a one-time fee that is not refundable. I paid about $50 for this deposit. Access to this mailbox is 24-hours via a side door from the UPS store. If you want a key to this door, you will have to pay an additional $10. I did not need a key because I can just come to the UPS store during regular business hours to check my mail. I made an appointment at 1:00 for notary services. When we arrived for the appointment, the man behind the counter asked if we needed a notary. I responded yes, and he said the notary was on deliveries and would return at 3:00. I responded, but I have a 1:00 appointment that I made online? Did he say I'm sorry for your inconvenience - nope. Nothing. What a nice way to spend my day off - wasting my time. This is absolutely unacceptable. Do better UPS! read more

I have been going to this UPS location for at least 15 years. Keith, Doreen, Jake and Evelyn should be acknowledged for their stellar customer service. I have used the faxing and printing services and they have shipped a ton of packages for me. They are really good at what they do! On 4/3/19 at 7:15pm I went to my local UPS store (Rocky River, Ohio - store 1308) needing printing (complicated). The woman helping me was AMAZING. She was patient, helpful & never seemed put-out, even though she had a line of people coming in and it was approaching closing time. Additionally, she politely answered a customer's questions even though it was technically after the store had closed. She answered his questions fully and thoughtfully, not at all annoyed. Another guy came up a minute later with documents that needed to get out right away & was just as frustrated as we were. I sent a package, 2lb 3oz. from this store to 29 Palms,California (Marine base). When I sent it I told the woman that I wanted it sent over night, or as soon as possible.She said that was fine. I was told it would be delivered by the next evening. I was surprised it was going to be there that fast. I repeated, "Wow! that's fast! I can't believe it will be there that quick." For $23.98. My son was really looking forward to recieving it. The next day I tried to track it. The UPS number showed it was not available. I called the store to find out what that meant and was told that they sent it through the post office. The post office stated that it had been picked up the next day but wasn't even processed yet. It would take 7 days for them to deliver it to my son. If I would have known that I would have saved a day and just sent it at the post office, paid more and been able to get it delivered before a week! Very disappointed! I will never use UPS or recommend them to anyone. read more
