The male employee of this store is so rude and not helpful at all! I've never had any issue with any of the other employees. As a matter of fact, all of the other employees go out of their way. The others are so kind and professional. This man is flat out rude. He accused me of lying that my Amazon package was shipped to me in a different box. No, dude, it wasn't. The box I brought in the store was the same brown box that the item was shipped in. He went on further to ask me to identify where the original shipping label was attached to the box. I removed it as a convenience to him when I packed the item. Because he couldn't find any residue from the shipping label, he accused me of lying. And there were some UPS labels stickers on the box! What a jerk! I'll utilize a different UPS store from now on. Management needs to address this behavior. read more

This location is convenient for me but the gentleman that works there is not the most friendly person out there. Seems like he really hate amazon returns. No extra help. Short answers. Just looks really annoyed all the time when I bring packages to this location. It's a shame. read more

Worst customer service I have ever received. I paid them a lot of money to pack and ship an item i was selling which would not fit in my car. A few days later, the buyer returned the shipment to me. I resold the item in about a day and brought it back to the same Westlake UPS on Detroit, and now they were charging about double for the packing. When I simply inquired why they were charging me so much more, the woman that was helping me "tried" finding my previous order from days ago, but could not. Next thing I know, she's on the phone with whom I have to assume is the unfriendly dude in the back referred to in other comments, and she says he wants to speak to me. This p.o.s. starts berating me for the transaction taking so long, and then says he's not gonna accept the package. In all his fury, literally yelling, he however confess the higher price for repackaging is due to the fact that I brought my own shipping label this time; unbelievable, will never walk in there again. read more

Every time I order prints, I pay extra to have the white borders cut off because it's a service THEY offer. The staff was rude about it from the beginning. First, they told me to wait 5 minutes, which I had no problem doing. Then after I had already paid for the service, they came back and told me they "couldn't do it because they were busy." Meanwhile, there were only two customers in the store, including me. Everyone has to wait their turn, and customer services should be completed in order. If you offer and charge for a service, you should follow through on it instead of making excuses after payment.

The staff person (I forgot her name) was very helpful in scanning my docs for me and saving it unto my flash drive. I had first logged unto the computer to scan my docs (to email it to myself) but the scanner next to the computer only scanned documents one-by-one which would have taken me the whole night to scan. So I was very happy when the FedEx worker helped me scan them for free. Once my whole packet was ready to mail, I placed them in the FedEx envelope and choose a mailing option. My package could have arrived the next day if I wanted it too but I choose 4 day shipping instead. I got a receipt with a tracking number and I was set. Service here is great so I will definitely be back. P.S. If you use their computers, know what you want to do and don't waste time. They charge by the minute I believe.

This store makes it super easy to do business. I was able to ask multiple questions, send over my…read morelogo and pay by credit card all by email. If you have a JPEG logo for example there will be a fee (which was under $50 with tax) to have Hometown convert the logo into the file type required for embroidery. When I went into the store to look at the logo once it had been digitized I was able to have changes made to it - delete words and realign other words. The staff were super helpful telling me what is common in terms of logo width and font size. If you have a logo already made they can pretty much execute any drag and resize action you could want. If you don't have a file already, while they don't design logos, they can set you up with stylized words. The staff were super patient as I picked out the colors to be used bringing me spools of thread to compare against each other and against the shirts I brought in and the digital image of my logo. I find their prices super reasonable and everyone was very friendly. It was just $12 per shirt that I wanted to have embroidered. I didn't buy the clothing there, but they had a retail floor of clothing and hats and a half ream sized catalog that you could purchase anything you could imagine from. My shirts were ready for pickup a week later and I was really happy with the quality and colors. I will certainly drop off more shirts soon and I'm thinking some hats too and maybe some of those cloth grocery bags.
