SERVICES Printing (posters, banners, brochures), shipping (overnight, next day, 2nd day, UPS ground), shredding ($1.45 per lb.) and mailbox rental. UPS Store offers a notary service, copying, faxing and scanning. "House Accounts" allow small businesses to "receive monthly or weekly billing statements for easier expense tracking." Personally, the ability to return my Amazon purchases is my favorite benefit! MAILBOX RENTAL A mailbox includes receipt notification and package acceptance. A real street address is advertised but it's pretty obvious that it's either a po box or an apartment #. The current, advertised price for a small (3 x 5.5) box is $90 for 6 months, $156 annually. A medium mailbox (business only) costs $126 for 6 months, $216 per year. There's a $25 set up fee. Mailbox vs. PO Box Post Office boxes are slightly bigger than UPS store mailboxes but they also cost more. Besides, if your mail is too big to fit in your box, the staff will hold it for you! Mailbox Access If you require 24 hour access to your box, a PO box might be preferable. But while some US post offices are accessible (Candler Road), others lock the lobby and close early (Lakewood - Jonesboro). UPS Store's mailbox access is the same as the store hours, thankfully it's open on weekends! NEEDS IMPROVEMENT Minus one star after nearly being charged more than the advertised price for a mailbox. I was told there was a $25 key fee but the register said $0. Thankfully, that was resolved but my 1 month free offer wasn't honored because "the system didn't allow it...." Still, the yearly price for a mailbox rental is cheaper than a Post Office box. And even though it took 3 calls to speak to an employee, that's still better than the Post Office (800 #) phone tree. Anyone who has been through it, or knows someone who has, knows how traumatic divorce can be. It was a rough time. I needed some documents notarized. Was working that day, and had to get it notarized during my lunch break. The young man at UPS seemed helpful and understanding. He notarized the document. For payment, he said something was wrong with the CC machine and preferred cash. So I paid in cash for the notary and to send the document. UPS TOOK THE CASH, but NEVER SENT THE DOCUMENT. The worker at UPS is a LIAR and a THEIF. Yes, if I remembered what he looked like, I would have definitely gone back and confronted him. In summary, be wary of this UPS. They will steal from if you, if they can. If only consumers started treating business's, like this UPS, as it treats it's customers. What comes around goes around.
