I went here to have a document notarized. From there, I went to the Bergen county clerk office for sign off until they let me know that the notary was not registered in Bergen county, but rather, in Hudson county. This should have been disclosed to me considering the store is located in Bergen county and they reviewed my documents that verified my address was in Bergen county. This was an extreme inconvenience and delayed the process for my application which was time sensitive. Disappointed- they should really disclose this. read more

I have to say - I was so impressed with the Edgewater UPS store that it compelled me to write a review. This store gets BUSY. I went in a few weeks ago to get a passport photo taken, and there were a ton of people in front of me AND behind me. I thought, "Dang, I am going to be here forever!" Not so! The workers zipped through the line like it was nothing, and all the customers had a variety of package needs. When I got to the line, I looked up at the employee and said (with guilt in my voice), "I'm sorry, I know you have a lot of customers, I need to take a passport photo." He shook his head and said, "Don't worry, everyone needs to understand patience." Less than 10 minutes later, I was all settled up. Super efficient place! I will definitely keep this store in mind when I need to ship something out. It's a bit out of the way for me, but if it gets the job done, it's worth it. read more

Avoid this store, they dramatically overcharge for packing. I had a prepaid shipping label for a RMA frying pan, all I needed was a box and a little packing material. They charged me $21 for essentially a box and some packing paper. Another time I went here and they wouldn't print out a shipping label I had and the computer was not working. Yet another time I went with a prepaid label to ship a pair of sneakers and they wanted to overcharge me for a box. Very much seems like the franchise owner is taking advantage of customers because of the location and relative affluence in the area. Since no one would pick up the phone I had to go to the store and wait in a long line outside of the store because they are understaffed, Of course after waiting for 15 minutes I find out that they had no clue where my package was. WASTE OF TIME DISORGANIZED CLUSTER___________ The employees are college kids with lazy and lame worth ethics and zero personality who do not care about your package let alone the service they are supposed to be providing. Avoid going there!!!! Though the store is in a convenient location, I will go to another one if I have the opportunity. They have abusing practices against the client like charging for a small piece of tape in a box (that other stores kindly help) and charging 10x more for printing. I'm so sorry there is no zero star rating available which I would give without hesitating to this group of apathetic, rude, adolescents who never make eye contact, don't have the decency to say a simple hello and appear to be annoyed by working and the presence of a customer. I am truly appalled at the disinterest and, frankly, disgust shown by these "workers" who appear to have a sense of entitlement. It truly pains me to walk into the store but it is conveniently located but once inside, like a prison sentence. I wonder why the attitude is so blatantly apathetic as if they are doing the customer a favor. This store is sloppy and incompetent. They assume no responsibility for lost packages that have been dropped off at their location- but never made it on the truck, SIT on people's large packages as chairs, and then get defensive and surly when you question them. Corporate UPS should seriously drop them unless the owner can hire new staff. Not all are bad... but the people receiving pre-labeled packages are by far the worse. Miserable people who hate their jobs and it shows in their work ethic and their customer facing behavior. I would suggest people take the extra 20 minutes and stomach the traffic and go to the fort lee UPS store, but the employees and owner really wouldn't care... it's just a paycheck.., no accountability for doing the job correctly and no responsibility for corporate brand image and customer experience. read more

Tried using this place for a simple document print job. Awful. 1) 24 hours after submitting my order and no follow up, I called, and they seemed surprise I had an order and said, "we'll print right now." Weird. It was supposed to be ready the day before. 2) Upon pick up, half of my order was missing. I had to re-email the document again. 3) Their printer was leaving horrible marks all over the prints, making them unusable. They had no way to fix the printer. "Yeah, our printer has been doing that. Sorry." I understand printers can have issues, but then don't accept print orders. I'm not borrowing my grandma's printer; I was expecting professional print service. The staff was very friendly and gave me a refund, but you shouldn't offer a service if you can't fulfill it. I can't imagine if I was printing something super important like a resume, I would've been screwed. read more

Tried to send a package out here on my company's account and was told by the employee that this store couldn't do it but the Fort Lee UPS Store could. Long story short, I trek up to Fort Lee only to be treated rudely. Apparently, a UPS Store franchise allows the proprietors to set their own rules and standards are laxly enforced. I was then told to drive to the Secaucus Store where they surely could accommodate me. In rush hour no less. Fool me once .... Manager and employees are rude. The store doesn't open the hours it's supposed to open. Went there on a Saturday where the hours are 9am - 5 pm. There was a line of people waiting for the store to open and it never did. I waited for over an hour and no employee or manager showed up to open. I called the store phone number and got voice mail. Called UPS customer service 800 number and after the recording it hung up on me. This isn't the first time this has happened. You need to fix the problem. read more

I had to return something from Amazon so I went to UPS. Amazon said UPS would provide me with a box to ship my equipment. I went and a girl who had a stank attitude named Carolina said UPS will not give us a box for my item (which is a electric scooter) I told her I would pay for a box. With attitude she began to measure my scooter and then said they would charge me $75 for a box... just so I can place my scooter in abs they can ship it. I contacted amazon and they said UPS is suppose to provide me a box. The point is... it's not paying for the box, it's the attitude of Carolina. Not graceful and she didn't even bother to double check and see if that policy was true which it is because I contacted amazon right after. I also think 75$ for a box is ridiculous. Carolina was not kind of graceful and I felt uncomfortable speaking to her with her aura. read more

the worse experience at a UPS store, i was a customer for 4+ years and in December of 2021 i went into the store to ship my daughters xmas gift which was an expensive coat, my fault i didn't take extra insurance but the package was either never labeled and shipped or picked up by UPS driver and lost. for months i have been trying to get a refund on the shipping costs and the minimal insurance and getting a runaround, the store says UPS owes me the money and UPS says the store owes me money, the investigation was closed and denied twice, what the hell does that mean? i personally think the store either kept it or lost it. I asked the store for copies of the investigation papers and they refused. i will never visit this store again, ill use FEDEX.... read more

I visited the store on August 17 and had very bad experience as I was mistreated by one of the workers Yalithzel. I had questions about printing services. I printed 17 pages however I did not understand the charge as they charge per page + per minute to use the computer to print (over $9). I tried to ask workers to explain. Yalithez was very rude and disrespectful including calling me sarcastic names. I was there with my 2 years old and 7 years old boys who witnessed the situation among with customers walking in and out. Finally, I left all the copies behind and left the store even though my cc was charged. I will never be back at this store. There are no clear instructions regarding the printing services and employees that work there are not helpful and rude. read more

Went to notarize the 3rd document in 2 weeks that is in French and apparently they have just decided to no longer notarize French documents. We were turned away very rudely by all 3 employees working today, 2/13. Terrible customer service. Will gladly drive an extra 10 minutes to avoid their rude and holier than thou attitudes. UPDATE with response. According to NJ law you are allowed to notarize a document in another language. You must simply confirm that the right person is signing. All employees were INCREDIBLY rude. There is no benefit of the doubt as I have copies of my COMPLETELY French documents with YOUR employees notarizing. We went to another UPS location that actually had nice and helpful employees. Good to know it's not all UPS. Just your location. read more
