I went to get a document notarized for my business the rep Andrew was great along with the other young lady but the managers energy was terrible, she did not greet she was very very unfriendly, definitely will not be back again. Everyone has something going on and it's essential to remember that especially being a manager at a business, it was the day of system outages, she needs to perhaps take some retraining courses on behavior, etc. Again the other two employees were great! They're good at their jobs, but only the task-oriented part of it. I'm surprised at the reviews saying how nice they are. Nearly every employee has a negative, nasty look on their face. You won't be greeted with a smile. You'll receive a generic greeting because it's in their job description. No people skills or actual kindness. But they WILL bite their tongue if they're impatient with you. The impatience is still obvious though. You can tell they don't like customers and that your presence is a bother to them. I once had an issue and dealt with the manager Andrew. He was hostile and clearly impatient with me. Was I rude to him? Nope, never. I had a genuine smile and was extremely polite. I work in customer service and know how to actually be nice to people, including everyone in this bunch. I've been nothing but nice to all of them for years, and have received zero kindness in return (except for one or two of the newer employees). I see them relate to each other and talk nice because they work together. But customers? No, why be kind to them. My last visit was the best because of the brunette girl with the sunglasses on her head. She loves to smile at my husband, but is catty towards me. She looks me up and down all the time and has for years. I have confidence in myself, so there's absolutely no jealousy here. I've never said anything and have never even given her a funny look. Nothing... I'm guessing she's jealous because I'm thinner? I don't know what her problem is. I've tried being nice many times, but she puts on a snobby act and seems incapable of genuine kindness. This store charges you to print off a mailing label that they can scan from your phone. This is the store's policy not UPS. They are ripping you off plus slowing killing the environment. read more

2 minutes ago I have usef lots of ups stores and i never had one charge me individually to simply tape already labelled boxes... I guess this location is too urban... I'm writing this because these employees are currently dealing with hundreds of customers and managing very well. I appreciate each one of them taking the time to keep the line moving while offering incredible customer service. I've dropped off some packages at this place many times because I'm an Amazon girl and sometimes I return things. So I can't really attest to many of the services here because I really just drop and run... but I'll just have to say that the other day when I showed up at 1:31pm on a Saturday and the employee there allowed me to drop off my package even though they had closed at 1:30 - that was pretty darn cool. I went to this UPS location couple or three times and I did not like it a bit. The employees there have attitude problems and sometimes downright rude. They act as if there were doing you a favor, not the other way around that you are giving them business. No real customer service skills. I came in March 2018 to this UPS office to return equipment to Direct TV and the employee was not that helpful. She did not give me answers and was not pleasant. As a comparison, FedEx on the other hand, which is located one block from UPS on the same street, was much better in customer service and assistance. read more

This is my first and last time I ever use this location. While I'm not happy I had to go in the first place due to the stay at home order, I had to go. I appreciate that this service is still available but I don't appreciate the rudeness I was met with. The lady that "helped" was very short with me had a bad attitude. If I could give it no stars I would. This is not a business. The self proclaimed franchises wife has inherited this store from her husband who died two years ago. She snowballed my mother into paying $400 for 2 boxes to be shipped within the United States. She not only told "woe is me stories" but upon charging my mother told her "martini's are on you." She did not make the transaction correctly and within less than 18 hours said she could not finish the transaction due, to her non-diligence, she needed an invoice. At which time we cancelled the order and requested the boxes be returned for pick up. Yeah she never told anyone at the company to do so. Her employees like to be sarcastic. Take no accountability for anything in the store besides taking your money and they hang up on you. If you try to call back they simply don't answer. They claim they don't know how to do anything and I believe that because the owner doesn't know how to either. She'd rather tell tales of her lost husband and his reincarnation into a red cardinal in her dreams. Smh. Once we contacted the company, oh idk, 6 times, we finally got the packages intercepted and they took 3 weeks to return to us. She then threatens to not return the boxes unless we paid another $72! Because she got charged. So we were asked to reimburse her. Now she refuses to refund us for the lack of service, professionalism or simple humanity. I will post this on every social media outlet I can possibly and will NOT remove this unless my mother is fully refunded. Corporate has been notified as well! read more

I've used this location several times. Since the new management has taken over the store has experienced a great transformation. Under the former owner the location looked stale and out-of-date, but now everything looks clean and organized. The employees are now courteous and professional. I'll continue to give these guys my business. read more

Poor Customer Service...When it comes to shipping things, the customer service is very poor and the employees attitudes are trash.

Andrew and his team provided great service and showed a lot of patience during my visit to the store. I had to fax a few documents and it repeatedly timed out. Andrew figured out the issue, and made sure the transmission was successful. How does one begin a review when there are so many things that need to be said. Lets start off with UPS Policy. I was told that when a package gets damaged that it is the policy of UPS to just throw it away without asking the original sender whether or not they want it back. That seems a bit odd, but if it's policy then we all need to start reading the fine print before sending out packages. Apparently policy overrides common sense and decency to inform the sender that they ruined their package. I sent out a package from the Dearborn store and it was scheduled to arrive on Monday. When my friend didn't call saying they received their gift I gave it a couple days because we all know things happen. Well I was nice enough to leave it until Friday, and then called our friends to see if they received the package when they said no I called The UPS Store. I talked to the owner Kelly. Let's first start off by saying Owner should not be her working title. I started out by asking about my missing package and I was told that it was damaged in the delivery process, so I asked why I was not informed about this and she proceeded to tell me that she was to busy to call. So was this going to go unnoticed unless I called? 4 days after my package was supposed to be delivered is not enough time to call? She proceeded to tell me that the claim (that I did not make) to replace the damaged items was denied. Again, UPS is making decisions and making claims on behalf of the customer without their approval or even better yet, knowledge. I then asked how are we going to replace and fix my issue and she passed me off to her employee. Wait-A-Minute. The owner is passing off her duties to an employee, how does that make any sense. All I can say is that I will never willingly use UPS to ship another package. They are the most reprehensible company I have dealt with and to call yourself an owner and treat your customers the way you have treated me, you should be ashamed of yourself and UPS Corporate should revoke your franchise. read more
