Very rude, I am 5'0" 100lbs I had to return something for my work and the box wasn't heavy just large and was having a hard time carrying because of the size and shape. I walked up to the door and there were no customers in the store. There were two people working and one was on the phone and didn't see me, but the other person working (which I believe was the owner) stood there watching me try to open the door. Thankfully, a very nice man from the store next to them walked out and saw me and opened the door for me. I thought ok, I walked up to the counter and set the box down with the label on top so it was easy to scan. He then scans the label and then tells me to pick it up and carry it to the back end of the counter which was back behind him. Then just stood there watching me struggle and handed me my return receipt as I was walking out. We had to mail a small box and I wanted it to get to the recipient in a reasonable amount of time. Since the mail in our area sometimes moves like a snail, I gave UPS a try. We took the package in on a Saturday and by Monday, the recipient was thanking us for it. Now that's what I call fast service. My husband was the one to take the package into the store as I waited in the car. I watched several customers walk in and out, so they were doing a brisk business and seemed to be keeping up with the flow of customer traffic. It took a total of 8 minutes, so not bad at all. With the Clinton Township Post Office within walking distance, I'll definitely keep using UPS when I can. Why? The lines at the post office are often times long and the mail can be sporadic as far as how long it takes to arrive at it's addressed destination. With the surprising two day delivery that was made by UPS, they won me over. With the additional services they provide, I'll keep returning. read more

They talk to each other in a different language about the customers and are completely inappropriate with questions about the packages you're shipping. FedEx is a better option. Don't use this place. I dealt with a man who claimed to be the owner. He was extremely rude. It was unreal. Decided to go back during the pandemic, as my boyfriend's mother needed some food items she couldn't get in the rural area she was in. He refused to send it, saying he could only send "essential" things. Food is pretty essential. Tried one more time, and the attitude of the owner was just terrible. I have worked at a UPS store before, and yes, you have to have many things going on at any given time for the customers, but you don't treat them like crap because of it. I've only used this store a few times, never had any sort of problems described in the poor reviews. I did walk in recently for an Amazon return and the woman who waited on me was kind and courteous- despite the raving lunatic they had in their store ranting about her Amazon return that was in a chaos mess of boxes, yelling at the store employees because she apparently couldn't get her own act together. How are the people that work here still employed? Especially the "Manager" Melissa Rivera. I have been to this location twice and will NEVER go back. Today I dropped off an item to be returned to the manufacturer and they require a UPS tracking number in order to ship me a new product. When I asked Melissa for a receipt she said "we don't give receipts." Which I know is 100% false. When I said "that's ok just let me take a picture of the shipping label, I can use the tracking number from that" she aggressively ripped the second half of the label (which is the receipt) off and threw it at me. Even though this location is extremely close to my home I will drive to the 15 mile or Hall road location from now on. Don't attempt to send anything through this store. They are incompetent and deceitful. Paid for next day air with Saturday delivery, they took the money, then didn't get it out of the door in time, so ups won't recognize it as next day. I tried to drop off a package with a pre-paid label and he refused to take it, telling me that I have to take it to a post office because US mail does not pick up at this store. AVOID this location, owner is very rude, instead of parking around back or off to the side, he parks his silver Honda Accord right in front of the store. I walk in with prepaid postage to ship out concert tickets, he hands me the envelope and plastic sleeve (normally they do all of that for you) and then proceeds to walk to the back until I yelled for help. Horrible, this guy is a crook.. (that is being nice) Recently took a package, the crabby crook weighed and measured my package..great paid what he asked just as it should be. Three weeks or so pass and my package has not been delivered, after 3 weeks I no longer had my tracking info, so I went to the UPS store and the crabby crook had not sent my package, said I owed more money than originally charged and paid, this guy never contacted me to say he made an error..nope the crook kept my package. I had to go to this store due to an emergency where I was needing to overnight mail my sons birth certificate to his father in another state. When I got to the counter the man who was to help me was extremely rude for no apparent reason. When he asked me what I was mailing I said it was a birth certificate. I guess he didn't hear me, so instead of saying "pardon me" or something professional, he rudely and loudly re asked me "WHAT ARE YOU MAILING?". When I gave him the city and zip he was telling me that it was incorrect. Although it was not. There are many small cities in San Jose California. He was maybe in his early 30s and didn't care to help me. He then proceeded to help the costumers behind me while I sat there for nearly 15-20 mins until I just eventually left the store. I have never left a Yelp review before. But, this experience was HIGHLY upsetting. Especially in the midst of an emergency and having never sent overnight mail before. I had a delivery that was supposed to be delivered on a wednesday. Friday comes around.... Still nothing (granted I was home all day Wednesday to recieve the packages, aside that.. I work everyday. That Wednesday I just happened to call off sick. I also have the ring doorbell. Anywho, I decided to check not my Sam's club tracking because it still said it wasn't delivered but the actual UPS tracking.... The driver "claims" he made an attempt to drop off my boxes... There was no attempt made because my ring notified me when people even walk past my street and I was at my kitchen table where I can see out of my front window as well.. Second it stated that it was dropped off at this local ups store and I had until next week to come claim my "delivery". Well I work everyday and never know when I have time to pick up the boxes (hence why I got it delivered). They even claimed that I am the one that recieved the packages... Which I never went to the ups store to "claim". Had they called me that Wednesday or someone informed me that that's what was going on... I would have gladly picked them up.. but again what's the point of delivery of they aren't going to deliver..,. At that point I would have just ran to Sam's myself.... Anywho, I contacted Sam's and explained what ups did to me and they delivered the same order to me via fed ex and everything was recieved amazingly and in a timely matter. What I don't get is I had a few different boxes come from the same order... The other boxes from ups the previous day's were delivered with no problem.. had all the same information.... so why did this driver have a problem. Also when it says "attempt" delivery... I didn't need a signature, you just had to drop it off at the porch. read more

Instead, he glanced at the package I set on the counter and said I was all set. Nice! It gets better! I got a call later saying there was a problem with my label and could I email him the label so he could fix it without me having to go back in. He noticed I was driving (using Bluetooth hands free!) and asked me to call him back so he could give me his email. I sent it and he replied that it was all set. Wow! Now THAT'S customer service!
