UPS needs to have a Customer Service call center from English speaking workers located within the continental USA. Everytime we have to call customer service the person is a foreigner and their English is unfortunately difficult to underdstand which adds to the frustration of tracking a package. Also, UPS delivery service is not efficient. They're extremely slow at delivering packages in a timely manner. I Spent All day waiting for a package. My paycheck was stolen on 12/06 it's is now 1/20/2025. 45 days have pass and still no paycheck. Management failed to stop the check and it was cashed on 12/17. They were neglectful in letting checks be stolen and incompetent in not stopping the check and reissuing another check. I now know they have a suspect yet I have not been paid. The person of interest is part of the Teamsters Union and I am not. I have filed a wage claim with the CA labor board. Jerry Flores (gbflores@ups.com) and UPS are breaking the law in not paying me. There is a guard named KATHY works for garaworld I believe she harasses me everyday she is vary rude and has a serious power trip ego. She gets smart with you and you can't say nothing back because she will get a bonus if she fires you. I want her removed from this location. If she is the 1st person you see before going to ups I would not work there. This is ridiculous. I took a day off to receive this package which had my birth certificate. I'm in the front room: No door bell, no knock on the door, anything. I called UPS and they assured me that the driver would return and I would receive a call within the next hour to confirm the return. I never got the call. The next call I got was from the supervisor (Who was professional and nice) who told me my package was at the center after making 3 attempts to drop off my package. I told her that wasn't the case, but she ultimately said there is nothing that I could do and that I would have to pick it up. What a letdown. I will *ACTIVELY* look to use any shipping company other than UPS. ***Update: 3/14 - So, I drove all the way to damn near Mexico to pick up my package. I ask the guy for the supervisor because over the phone, she said she would personally hand me my parcel and allow me to make a complaint. When I went to go pick it up from the customer care center I received an empty box. The box had clearly been tampered with, opened, and then sealed shut again without the phone inside. I paid for overnight delivery. My package was set for delivery the next day. From the tracking process, I saw that it was on schedule for overnight delivery on Wednesday, 11/16/22. An hour and twenty-five minutes after it was out for delivery my delivery status changed to "Your Package Had An EXCEPTION". It stated that my street number is incorrect and they were trying to update my address. I immediately called the store I purchased it from to verify my shipping info which was correct. The store customer service said they would email UPS to inform them the address is indeed good. Then 7 hours and 7 minutes later they supposedly reattempted to deliver and again updated the status to say "The street number is incorrect". I contact the store I purchased my item from and they once more sent an additional email verifying my address was correct. Every time I called UPS directly I'm put on hold & disconnected. Here I am five days later and in between the 17th and today the 21st there have been no further attempts at delivery updated in my tracking status. I paid $629 in shipping fees of vinyl flooring from Costco. They dumped/delivered 63 boxes in front of a PUBLIC driveway of 10 garages. $3000 worth of flooring, which did not require a signature. I tried calling the day before and the day of delivery and Frenesis said ups will call me when the truck is in the vicinity. I then get a call from Nessa that the load was delivered in front of the garage. NO CALL TO INFORM ME THEY WERE IN THE AREA! My plan was to take a break from work to drive the 10 minutes to my condo to open the garage. When my husband got to the garage, the boxes were stored sideways, torn boxes, and stacked in crooked position in the HOT sun!!. These are vinyl flooring planks that should NOT lay on their side to to warping. I called to complain to UPS Customer service, spoke to "Sam" who said she will escalate the call so i can speak to a supervisor. No call back yet!! Called Costco customer service who was wonderful in trying to refund me the shipping fees. They will also escalate the problem with UPS. I advised them to start using a different shipping service!! My package was slated for overnight delivery but did not arrive despite showing it was in the truck and out for delivery. It was then rescheduled to arrive the next morning and also never showed up. I spoke with three different customer service reps throughout the afternoon, one basically gave me nothing, the second assured me it would arrive that night and said someone would be calling me within one hour (the call came 21 hours later, and the rep told me they think the package is "up north" somewhere), the third told me that the package was lost and that they were going to email me a form to fill out to start an investigation. As the package was time-sensitive to my business, their 8-day processing time on investigations was pretty useless to me. I'd sooner strap a parcel to a donkey, point it in the direction it needed to go, slap it on the ass and hope for the best than ever trust these troglodytes to deliver anything but disappointment and excuses. read more

Tracking indicates that my item is arriving by the end of the day. We waited till 8pm. Suddenly it was re-scheduled for future delivery. Contacted support, but they cannot give me any additional information and they will just relay my issue to the receiving UPS facility. Was then contacted me the next day stating that they can't find my package in their system. And they would call me back in 30 mins to try and locate the items. I then got a call back after a few hours letting me know that it was still missing and there was no reason given by the UPS driver for the reschedule. There was also no attempt for the driver to deliver. I was then told to let the sender know about the issue and just file a claim. I then said, "Can I just wait till the next day (Friday)?" And they said yes and they'll update me right away. I felt so frustrated that my item just went missing for no reason or any explanation.And this was not the first time it happened. I've been telling the agent and the staff facility that I'm even willing to pick up the item at any drop point or even the warehouse. I feel that my issue is being handles lightly. The item is insured for more of its worth but I would not be reacting this much if it was not important to me. I've been using UPS to ship my items in the past but having to go through all this trouble is not worth it. And some items are just irreplaceable. I'm really hoping that this would be resolved. I would advocate to my friends and family in discouraging them to use any of #UPS services. And unfortunately, one of my friends is going through the same thing right now. When they take custody of a package, they often put it in Storage until they supposedly accumulate something called a FULL LOAD. During this indeterminate waiting time, the tracking information needed to expedite it, is NOT being generated. This means that when you call in to get updated tracking information, there is NOTHING that they can really tell you. In other words, if US Mail Innovations is going to be handling your package you should expect annoying delays. Do a Google search and read the reviews. In my case, the bin is probably already filled to overflowing, but I am not in a position to prove that this is in fact the required Full Load or that other packages are even in there. read more

This is by far the worst UPS store! Every time I have a package coming from this location it never makes it to my home! I had a delivery that left the building at 9:49am and they still couldn't manage to get it to me by the end of the day today like it was supposed to be. LAZY! Our usual UPS driver is off. The Sub didn't even bother to open the gate or come up to the office. ATTEMPTED DELIVERY notice left 10 yards away from the office on the gate. Called the 800 number who couldn't help. Didn't know how to contact the Boswell location or the driver. Couldn't locate package or let me know when the package would be at Boswell Ct. Couldn't get a call back from UPS unless they hold the package at Boswell Ct and it went in this circular style with the foreign call service lady. I paid an extra $450 for expedited shipping. I have a package being delivered on a date I will not be available to receive the package. I tried to put a hold on the package to be delivered on a different day, which didn't happen for some reason. I used the Ask UPS on line chat and had a supervisor try and help. Now the package is on hold for 5 days but I have to go to the UPS office to pickup the package. It was paid to be delivered, I had to pay to have it put on hold and then this package is not going to be delivered but held for me to come an pick it up. So I paid to have it delivered, paid to have it put on hold and now it's not going to be delivered but held for me to drive over an pick it up. This is craziness. It's not customer service. What it is, is customer disservice. This needs to change; UPS needs to provide the delivery that has been paid for. read more

PROMPT FIXING I been anticipating to receive some scuba equipment but unfortunately the delivery had an incorrect number in the address. UPS notified me via email. Since I was the receiver, I created an account and attempted to modify the receiver address. Not sure what happened next but the following day I received another UPS email me saying there was something incorrect with the address. Instead of trying to handle it online, I called UPS and was quickly connected to a customer service rep. The rep fixed the address issue and contacted UPS warehouse to make sure everything was sorted out and will get my delivery the next business day. Then I was pleasantly surprised to receive a call for UPS warehouse a few minutes from a person who said he went to the truck, switch address, and will be delivered next business day (this was like a secondary and physical check to make sure it was prepared). I request that it be held at will-call for me to pick up personally and they took it off the truck to put it in will-call. This is excellent customer service! read more

Pretty sad there are SO many one star reviews for UPS yet everyone keeps using them! DON'T USE UPS! My package was moving fine through their system and the last tracking info was "Out for Delivery, will be delivered between 2:15pm and 7:15pm" on Mon. 1/6/2020. At around 9pm, the tracking info was deleted. They didn't add an exception, delivery attempt, or anything to the tracking. They just deleted the Out for Delivery entry. The tracking status just said in transit to Chula Vista, CA even though there was already a destination scan at Chula Vista. That's just the beginning of this debacle. Since our UPS driver always comes to our house at the very end of the day, I didn't want to wait another 24 hours to get the package so I put a hold on it to hold it at the UPS hub in Chula Vista. I was told by the CSR at UPS that the package would not be put back on a truck and be available for pickup at the hub. So the next day, I wait until I get an email from UPS that my package is available for pickup. I drive 35min each way to the hub. Of course, when I get there, the rep there says most likely the package never made it on the truck and the Out for Delivery scan was not correct. AND that the package probably got put on a truck the next day (1/7/2020) even though there was a hold placed on the package. So without even looking for the package, the rep said the package is probably not there and they would have to call each of the drivers to see if they can find it on their truck. He didn't want to go look for it since the warehouse was "all the way on the other side off the building." WTF? When I asked to speak to a manager, he said, "She won't have anything different to say. Plus she would have to walk all the way from the other side of the building to come talk to you." Really? Sorry I wouldn't want to inconvenience anyone and make them walk to the other end of the building... Long story short, now halfway through 1/8/2020, no one has found the package. Of course everyone at UPS says they're looking for it. Great, if everyone is looking for it and can't find it, that's not good. More likely, no one is actively looking for it. They are just hoping it will "show up" at some point. What a joke. read more

I had a package that required a signature. Usually UPS comes around late evening if my area, so ran a couple errands earlier. I come back home and there is a notice missed delivery. Great! They decide to come early today. The 2nd day I dedicate to stay home all day to wait for the package. It never comes til 7pm! I call customer service and they tell me it will be delivered by 9pm. Then 835pm comes. I track the package online. It says I requested the package to be delivered another time! Then I call customer service again and they tell me they can't tell me where to pick it up and they won't attempted to redeliver again. I tell service rep please have the headquarters holding my package call me tomorrow so I can waste my time picking it up for a service I paid them to do. I don't know about UPS these days. My last incident was a stolen package replaced with some cheap pieces of clothes. Note to self in future choose FEDEX instead for packages requiring signatures. Incidentally, I do not think this is a UPS Store, but an actual UPS facility. This is where I must drive to from La Mesa to pick up a parcel that should have been delivered today. Almost a month ago I had ordered an official copy of my birth certificate as I am going to be a Tour Bus Driver in Denali National Park from mid-May through mid-September. It was going to be tight on the timing, so I decided to order Express delivery, which means overnight delivery by UPS. I had gotten a notification that the package was scheduled to be delivered today (3/4/2020), so I had arranged to stay put until I had the package in hand. While in my family room which has a door leading to my front porch, I was working quietly on my laptop with no distractions. No TV, radio, podcasts etc. At approximately 12:30pm I noticed the sound of a large truck pulling away. When I looked out the door (two glass French doors) I saw the UPS truck pulling away quickly. Immediately I went to the front door and noticed a notice from UPS. Sorry we missed you. Well, there was no knock on the door, not even in the slightest. There was no extra effort made to make sure that this expedited delivery was actually "delivered." The surprising thing to me was the utter lack of accountability. The driver simply had to state that he/she wouldn't be "able" to reattempt delivery. At the US Postal Service, if an expedited delivery was NOT attempted, there would be serious consequences for that decision. Additionally, it would not be the decision of the Carrier, but rather the paying customer that would ultimately decide what should be done. If I were you, and you have a choice, go for the Red White and Blue American Eagle (US Postal Service Express Mail Service/Priority), because they deliver for you. read more

They only try to deliver between 9:30 and 1:30, when everyone is at work...expecting me to skip work and wait around the house for their delivery truck...then I have to drive 15 miles out of my way (22 miles if I don't take a toll road) and pick up my package at their central location. Other shipping companies (Cough cough FEDEX cough cough) actuallly allow me to pick up packages at any of their locations around San Diego...but not UPS. I don't know how they even call themselves a delivery company...they're more of a, we'll get the package within 30 miles of the person and then make them do all the work. It would be very easy for them to offer to deliver on Saturday or to conduct residential deliveries after 5:00 PM. Every company I order from online, I insist they use anything but UPS.
