One piece was a 1959 magazine rum ad, which featured my husband's late grandfather. It was a delicate piece and irreplaceable. The second was a watercolor print we bought when we lived in South Carolina over 20 years ago. We wanted to replace the dated gold frame, but use the same matting. The print had slipped over the years and needed to be re-centered. The owner was helpful and patient with me while I selected the frames. He encouraged me to use the museum glass, and I'm so glad I listened to his advice. The items look almost as if there is no glass. The total price was a bit of a shocker, but in this instance I believe we got what we paid for. The items turned out so nice. It was our first time using this business and we will definitely use them in the future when we have more framing needs.
