    Yesterday still waiting after 10 minutes in one of 3 available register lines...

    Why does this location ALWAYS have too few cashiers open to serve customers to pay for their items? I'm here at least once a week as I'm an avid crafter. The variety & selection of items is always amazing, but standing in line of at least 6 people with full baskets is ridiculous! Usually it's only two regular registers and the return register available... Please hire or train more of your employees for the registers, it's become holiday season and it's only going to get worse.

    The service is horrible here. I was shocked how bad it was today. Mind you it wasn't even that busy but SOME of the Staff is rude. Mainly the managers or assistant managers. One was following me around, not sure why? I didn't even put my stuff in my stroller. I held it in my hand because I didn't feel comfortable to put it in my undercarriage. I go to this hobby lobby frequently because it's close. I easily spend anywhere from $300-40 when I go. But today I was being tailed by some manager, it made me feel uncomfortable because she was so close I thought she was going to hit my ankle with the cart. Like can I just walk around and browse and shop in peace? When I got to one of the Christmas isles I looked on one side and saw someone stocking so I went around to the other side to see that side. This lady a manager or assistant manager yelled at me that the isle was closed because she was in the center, like mam I wasn't even near you, I was in the outer side of the isle. I told her ok I'm just looking at this side in front of me. And she yelled at me again it's closed. Mind you she wasn't on a ladder there's no signs blocking the isle. And I'm not no where near her or heading in her direction. Her tone of voice both times were beyond rude. I had another encounter later that same visit with another one that was also rude. I couldn't believe the service I received. I later went to the La Mesa location to continue my shopping as the Chula Vista one wasn't fully stocked in the items I needed. Let me tell you, their customer service there was AMAZING! And their store is fully stocked and double the size! All of the staff there were so helpful and kind, unlike the managers at this location.

    I was shopping there for about an hour and had to wait in line for at least 30 minutes, just to reach the register and they didn't take apple pay. I had nothing else on me and it was a complete waste of time. They didn't have any signage posted of not accepting it and didn't let anybody know. Super disappointed.

    I thought that Hobby Lobby would treat customers well because it brands its store with Christianity. I am a Christian. I have to hold Hobby Lobby accountable. The business practices are awful. After my horrible experience, I looked at the better business bureau and was shocked at your poor rating. Hobby Lobby should hold itself to a higher level because it brands itself as a Christian company. I simply bought a treehopper from your store a few weeks ago. I was with my 2 girls. My husband died a few years ago. This is a hard time of the year for our family. I already had a fresh cut Christmas tree with lights and decorations on the tree. The lights were bought last year from Costco. They were totally fine. Once we added the treehopper, everything shorted out. I went to the store to complain about what happened to me, and the store manager told me that the same thing happened to another customer at a nearby store in La Mesa. She said, We are a Christian company. We will take care of you. She had me fill out an incident report. I had to drive back to the store to fill it out. Customer service was rude to me. Her name is Sharon. Lea Ann Malchaski from risk management took over. Lea Ann offered me $200 for the damaged lights and $50 for the time and inconvenience of having to go back to the store 2 times. Keep in mind that Costco had already sold out their lights. Keep in mind that I had to take everything off my tree and then put lights and ornaments back on the tree. I have a beautifully decorated tree with no lights because they were damaged by a product Hobby Lobby sold not only to me, but per your manager, it damaged another customer as well. Lea Ann will nor Sharon will address the incident that happened at the La Mesa Store. Lea Ann nor Sharon will answer the question: Why was that product still on the shelf when corporate was aware that it shorted out Christmas lights? Honesty and integrity is lacking in your customer service and risk management department. I get it. You're a big corporation. You have margins. However, when Hobby Lobby brands itself with Christ, you must have integrity and honesty at every level of your corporation. Everyone who hears this story is simply shocked. Shame on you. I wrote this to Steve Green. He never responded. Lea Ann in Risk Management never responded and never sent the $250. They don't want to admit that they sold me a known defective product. Is that the Christ like way to conduct business? Buyer Beware.

    It's been a few years since I've been in a Hobby Lobby. But in every one I've ever visited, I've found myself totally impressed! I'm impressed by the total size and immensity of these arts and crafts stores. I'm also totally impressed by how clean and well-organized the display areas are throughout the store : just supremely clean and well-managed. Gotta tip my hat to Hobby Lobby for that! When it comes to arts and crafts, along with various home decorations, you can't go wrong here! I even note that there is a large Christmas section up and ready to go for people who want to make early preparations for the 2023 Holiday Season. But my reason to visit on this day was to find a picture frame at 12x9 inches. IKEA failed me on this one, so I gave Hobby Lobby a chance to make the sale. BUT not before I had a Swedish meatball lunch at IKEA!! LOL! Well, I'll admit that Hobby Lobby didn't have the 12x9 frame either!! BUT!! They had something that IKEA did not - a framing shop within the store! I had to look into purchasing a special hand crafted frame - and I couldn't say no because the document I needed to frame represented a key milestone in my former career. I didn't need anything extravagant - just something basic, but nice to look at. The Navy always uses black frames! But I was happy with the one I chose - has a classy look too. It also was an excellent value since it came at 50 percent off. I did notice that around the store there were many 50 percent off signs in the store throughout. I will be waiting for my frame to arrive in a couple of weeks, but I want to add here the service representative, Rosemary, provided outstanding support in assisting me to find the right frame and the best value possible. I've always liked Hobby Lobby! Today gave reason for me to like it even more! Recommend: HIGH

    The national city store is very complete and comprehensive. We've shopped there for several years and they have great prices and selection.

Sometimes they have a lot of great new merchandise and it's easy to navigate to find what you need. Most time there are a lot of issues with cluttered items in different areas and not organized well to shop easily. I found this visit to be the latter, where there were not enough organized items of merchandise stocked well so it was all in different places of the store. For example, I found about 4 brand new, unopened candles in the bathroom accessories area, instead of the candle area. Also, I found a stack of 6-8 beautiful framed wall art boxes in the ladies bra area, someone just left them there, on the floor. I was able to find a couple of nice housewares items in the correct space, and they were in good shape for purchase; so I went for it. If they had more employees to organize and restock their inventory, they would be a much more successful store. I would shop here more. Also, the socks area is a hot mess dot com. I found so many things that don't belong in this area here, and it was ridiculous. I want to like this store, but I always get disappointed more than happy after shopping here.
