I don't have a printer so tul advantage to the email printing process. They were helpful and printed my one sheet in minutes.

They have 4 self-Service machines. But 2 of them are usually not working. Every time I come in I have to wait. If only they would service those other 2 machines. read more

Went in and grabbed an item, the price said $14.79. Got to the register and the item was $26.99. Told the cashier the price, where there were multiple items of the same were labeled at $14.79. Cashier tells me to take a photo of area and price, which I do. I turn to the cashier and she confirms it's in the wrong area. Paid the actual price then told the cashier they should address the issue. She did t acknowledge and helped the next customer. Terrible!! read more

Straightforward Office Depot location in Eastlake. Feels nostalgic - reminiscent of simpler times when retail shopping reigned the best. Store was medium sized with high ceilings and sprawling aisles. Well stocked and a selection of everything you could need for your...office. Some things seemed pricey but as expected - others were good values. Didn't interact with the employees. Solid stop nonetheless for your office needs. read more

I came in on a Friday afternoon to laminate 21 invitations for my nightclub. Doug very helpful! He helped me decide what paper they would look best in. I appreciate him because his customer service was amazing! Even when a lady came up asking to laminate something when there is CLEARLY a "YOU MUST CHECK IN" sign. Office Depot does not disappoint. I always check online for items to see if they have them and their inventory on line so far has been pretty spot on with what they have on hand physically at the store. Each time the employees have been very polite and kind, which makes it even better. One thing too is their random mark downs on items you don't necessarily go for but are oh so useful, and at great deals you don't want to pass on. read more

In the middle of the store I saw 4 employees having a joyous conversation. The manager here is super rude and not helpful at all. I had an issue with consistency at the printing counter. Josh was amazing and cut my paper no problem the day before. I came back the next day and the cuts were way off and it was paper I brought in to cut. The employee attempted to be helpful but offering to keep cutting my wrecked paper wasn't going to help. Their whole process for printing and cutting was very inconsistent. When I asked for the manager all he did was sigh and shrug his shoulders and told me there was no charge. Well I should hope so when I brought in my own paper that they destroyed. He finally said "well we can give you one of ours and have her try again" and then walked away. How rude! The employee really did try to remedy the situation. It's a simple resize for goodness sakes! Thankful for her but the manager needs more training for sure. Won't be back, no wonder these places are going out of business. read more

Got there exactly 27 min to closing. An employee was already locking the door and closing the security gate. Fine whatever I'll come back tomorrow. But the cherry on top was when I was backing in some dumbass put the damn cart right in the parking spot. Totally busted my right tail light out. I have been going to office depots for years. A couple of the ones I use to go to have closed down. I am happy a few are still around. This specific location is very organized and very clean. The lines are usually short and staff is very helpful. Returns here are easy and not too big of a hassle. I love it when they have blow outs or clearance specials! This store by far has the WORST customer service. I've been here before the pandemic, during and recently. This last time I was surprisingly greeted but once I was ready to check out that same greeter noticed me in line & continued to chat it up w the clerk. Once they called me up the clerk was just being loud. Greeting loud , asking for my information , total & just almost screaming. I'm not sure if he was being serious or just condescending. I walked out w out saying thank you due to the poor customer service and the clerk just YELLS "have a good day" in such a rude manner and when I was by the sliding doors. I've complained before and there seems to not be a care in the world for whoever is managing this location. I've asked them to check the cameras to notice that I was not being rude at all too. Horrible customer service and it was the manager that helped me. He was so lazy and unwilling to offer help resizing a file I needed printed. He shrugged his shoulders and said he could ring me up. That's it?! He acted as if going into publisher or photoshop was too much work. I took my business elsewhere and they did the project in 5 minutes. Awful customer service!! Get your act together! Horrid customer care/service. Picked up my print and it was unevenly folded/rolled three times and put in a bag under the counter. Funny compared to other places where they have cardboard to place the prints in to keep flat, or actual poster rolls. They reprinted again but since they have NOTHING to carry prints out with..literally even a bag, I walked out with it already getting bent in the wind and put in my car with no protection. Customer service beyond the product was rude, like I'M the problem, and they couldn't be bothered to help me. Busy discussing work shift swaps.. Will absolutely not use again. read more

Inconsistent customer service. Some days I get my print out faster, but most of the time it takes them forever to print out my job. Even with two people in line, it takes 20 minutes and they had four people working at the same time. I feel that sometimes they are distracted. Also, everything this store offers is way overpriced. I tried looking for double-sided tape and the only option was $7! I ended up going next door to Target where the tape came out to be $3 including tax. read more

This Office Depot is like a cruel experiment. They greet you at the entrance with a warm welcome and everything goes downhill from there. I don't care how many items you buy but be prepared to find them on your own and wait a long time to purchase them. They usually have one cashier and I think if they were timed they would average 15 minutes per customer at checkout. They are so incredibly slow and 99% of the time here at this particular Home Depot someone is returning something so that slows down everything even more. One day they actually had two cashiers open (a rarity) and they were both having a contest to see who could be slowest. I tried to purchase my items but the cashier closed just as I reached the front. If you go here I would advise you to bring a lunch and a lawn chair so you can wait in line. read more

This is for the print/copy service department of this store. I would suggest to have more people manning this area since it seems like they're always busy. I do a lot of print jobs here and I swear they take forever. On one occasion an employee actually LOST my print job, so I had to wait another 20 minutes for it to be redone. Last night around 8:50pm, I went to Office Depot to get a Namiki Pilot pen. First I searched for it myself and then I asked the clerk. I asked, "Do you carry the Namiki pilot pen?" John answered, "I don't know." We stared at each other for 5 seconds and then he finally brought me to his manager and his manager asked, "Is that a pen?" He didn't know about the pen either. So John took me toward the display case of the fine pens which had nice Cross, Waterman, etc.. They didn't have it. I thanked them for their attempt to help me, but when I was walking out of the store, I thought about John's response when I asked him about the pen, "I don't know." And I thought that would be the end of our interaction. Tip for clerks: Instead of responding, "I don't know" a better response would be, "Let me check to see if we carry that." That response is much helpful. At the hospital where I work, a lot of patients ask me a lot of questions: - "When will I get discharged from the hospital?" - "Why does it hurt here?" - "When will my dinner arrive?" - "What time does the doctor come in to see me?" - "When can I get my pain medicine?" I wish I can say "I dunno." And then just walk away. That would be hilarious. read more

Staff is very intrusive, very rude, impolite and slow. There is one particular fellow, large heavy set oaf of a half bald guy who kind of looks like Morton from the movie Office Space. He's is supposedly a manager or senior floor sales executive there who tends to take things personally if customers do not abide by his "protocols". (I.e. "Would you like any help?" And you answer "no" then the whole floor and cash registers brand you as completely self reliant or a possible shop lifter so you are closely watched and/or just ignored for assistance). This is really annoying, unprofessional and a fine example of horrendous customer service. I haven't experienced this at other Office Depot's I've been to in terms of customer service. In general, half their merchandise is way overpriced and they have a very picky policy on returns. This may be a fallout from Office Depot corporate to prevent themselves from losses in sales and returns but please save yourself the trouble and don't go here. I'd rather go on Amazon, a grocery store, Staples, Best Buy, Staples or even Wal-Mart. Definitely blacklisting this place when it comes to office supplies. This is a bummer since it's supposed to and used to be a reliable place to get the up to date and at reasonable price and properly stocked store to get what you needed for the home, office or school. I guess times change and management and/or corporate never heard the saying "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". All in all, taking my business elsewhere. Thank you very much Office Depot. read more

I don't mean to be rude but my experience was not the best. I came here to get my textbook bound nobody greeted us when we entered. They supposedly are suppose to text you when your stuff is completed never texted me my textbook was complete. Also a couple pages in my book looked like it was copied from a xerox machine.
