Had the rudest experience with the manager named Will this morning. I came into the store just after it opened and was in line when i noticed an Amazon kiosk for returns. That's what I was there for so I went through the prompts on the touchscreen and it stated I should have been provided with a label. The label machine was blinking red so back in line I went to complete my return. I could tell by Will's body language he was not in a good mood, remember this is within 15 mins. of the store opening. He scanned the return bar code on my phone and proceeded to throw my return in a box labeled "GREEN". I don't know about you but I always get a receipt showing proof that I dropped off the return. I informed will I need a receipt and I guess he could not give me one from the register he was at behind the counter so he walks to the kiosk huffing and puffing, opens the label printer and grabs the empty cardboard core from the label roll and throws it in the garbage forcefully. Get's a new label roll and proceeds to put it in the label machine & mumbles something as I reply, "I just need a receipt" and he replies " I didn't ask you that rudely. I finally get a receipt but the ink is blurry and I can't make out any information on it. I ask for his name as this is just unacceptable incident and he refuses to even acknowledge me. Other customers are all watching this go down and it's uncomfortable. I ask a second time for his name so I can contact the manager at a later time and again refuses to give me his name as he calls up the next customer waiting in line. At this point I know its just best to leave so I take a picture of his with my phone and walk out and go on with my day. BTW, he has brown hair and a brown beard and just seems "off". This is where it gets weird..... I finish my work day and see that it's been over 8 hours so I call the store and a gentleman answers and I ask if he is the manager and he states no Will is the manager and I ask who opened the store this morning and he states it was Will and before I can inquire any further guess who snatches the phone from the employee and states "this is the manager". I say, "Hey Will you were the rude guy this morning that was throwing things around and wouldn't give me his name?" He states yes, so I ask for his boss's information thinking I would get a branch or regional manager but Will refuses to give me any information and proceeds to call me "antisemitic" and that I was being "racist" towards him. I think he's saying these things to cover for what the employee who initially answered the phone must be thinking & hearing. I reply with "what antisemitic and racist things did I say Will?" He replies with "I don't know" and I proceed to tell him I will be contacting corporate and then he hangs up the phone on me. I contact corporate in San Diego and speak with a representative name Michael who took down all the information and apologized. I asked to be contacted about the outcome of this horrible customer service incident but Michael said all information will be kept internally, so I know this is the end of the line. I thank Michael for listening and forwarding my concerns as he assured me that WIll, the store owner and some kind of other manager will discuss what happened in a meeting. Looking at other negative recent reviews at this specific store, it seems like this is not the 1st time experience but rather multiple incidents regarding Will's poor/rude customer service. Reading those other reviews I realized I had to write my own. read more

I placed an online order for my taxes to be printed and then to be pick up at The store. When I showed up my tax documents were sitting on the counter in view of the public for at least one day. None of the employees were wearing masks either. When I asked the manager why my documents were sitting out in view and why they were not wearing masks she responded by saying that the only people who could see the documents were the employees. I voiced my concern again about the type of documents and information visible not only to the employees, but to the public as well if they just looked over the counter. She then told me that I was the one who sent documents to be printed at a public company therefore they had the right to set them wherever they wanted.I then told her that I was very frustrated and that I would not be coming back. She said good get out then bitch and don't come back. Manager: In response to your "bottom line". As I mentioned above it was the blond lady who was awful, and the black gentleman was nice. If I could give this store 100 stars I would. All the staff is so nice and helpful! The store is always so clean and so well organized. Cheyenne is so knowledgeable with mailboxes, I feel so comfortable opening a mailbox up with them and receiving my mail. Will and Brad help me with my Amazon returns and shipping to loved ones when I need it. They both always make sure I leave with a smile on my face knowing my packages will get to where they belong. There's a reason this location has such a low star rating. I came out during rush hour traffic today with my 2 year old. I had two packages to return - one Amazon and one a clothing retailer. TONI told me I would be charged for packaging even though I was returning in the same box it was shipped in. I've never gone to this location as I usually go to Wilsonville. I told her I'd rather drive out there than be charged for absolutely no reason. I would skip the BS and just go to another location. Terrible customer service! Update next day; Went into Wilsonville today and dropped off the same two packages. It was completely FREE! Just as I suspected it should be. I spoke with the employee there and told him about my experience at this location. He told me that each Ups is privately owned and operated, that must be why this place thinks they can treat their customers the way they do. They are scamming people into paying fees they don't actually have to pay. After reading some of the responses on here from the owner of this location. I repulsed by the verbiage and lack of care for customers they have. In the service industry, you are there to help and make your customers happy. I went to the Canby store to have 11 pages scanned and emailed. I paid $11 (!) and left. A few moments later the recipient let me know nothing came through the email. I called the store, let them know, Warren assured me I'd get a credit since I had to return to get it corrected. When they had finished rescanning and emailing, she told me I didn't have to worry about paying for it. I said good, because I had to come back because of your mistake, and I was told I'd get a credit of some kind when I got here. Warren told his associate no credit would be issued. I said I'd like to hear it from him - he was avoiding me so the associate had to call him over, and he proceeded to inform me I would receive no credit since they had to be rescanned and emailed again! I was given the option to have my package securely delivered to this store so i could pick it up and avoid the risk of the package being stolen or returned to sender by my apartment manager office. I received an email saying it had be delivered. I go to pick it up and they dont have it. The nice agent said there is a drop site at the market n the corner and it might be there. I walk over and check with the clerk and they do not have it either. I contacted the seller and it turns out the tracking does have it sent to this store address and suite number AND that same day they sent it back, return to sender. Do not use as a secure site for picking up your packages. It was utterly disappointing especially since the package had gifts for my daughters bday and the seller had to cancel and credit the order as it could be duplicated. I really miss the ambience of the previous owner and why can't the new owner keep good people? Not one employee are personable nor are they remotely clean and presentable. At least shower and shave. The males at this location are so unkept and crusty looking. I like that's is nicer on the inside. I do not appreciate the mailbox price hike. I've had multiple issues after having packages set to the store and every time the employees seemed to have little to no interest to help. One time the manager immediately wrote me off until an employee remembered the package I described and another time they denied the package when delivered and did almost nothing clear up the confusion when questioned about it. read more

This store should loose their license with UPS. They look bad on them. Terrible and rude costumer service. The employee ignored us and my sister can barely stand and walk. I asked the employee (after a few minutes)" Are you ignoring us?". She got very rude with us. Then I guess the guy that was in there was the boss. She went to him and said she quits. Then he came to my sister and I and said " thank you for making my employee quite". They very rude. The only way that it will change is if people stop going in there. Was just in UPS STORE here in Canby. The worst experience I've ever had. Both people working were rude an cussed with a store full of customers. My sister asked if they were ignoring me because the woman was moving boxes that had been sitting there for longer than the 2o minutes we'd been in the store. Because my sister asked that question the woman went off on her. Walked away from me told her boss she was going to lunch. She wasn't taking my shit. I hadn't said anything. He then yells at me telling me thank you for making his employee quit. But that's not what she remotely said. Again. I said nothing at this point. Then another customer starts yelling at them when they both are going off on me. I went to walk out cuz I got kicked out. Dropped my cane. Still being cussed at. I finally turned around and told them I've done customer service for over 30 years and theirs sucked. They continued cussing and told me to go cry elsewhere. Making a crying rubbing eyes motion. Well I wasn't crying. Even tho what was needing notarized was an inheritance form from my father's recent death. And I was seeing his death certificate for the first time. We are spreading his ashes tomorrow. And I'm very emotional. But some people are too self absorbed and bitter to be decent human beings. I will NEVER give them my business again. They don't deserve to thrive treating people so badly. People gave info to my sister to give to UPS towards filling a claim. They said they are always rude. So sad they don't care about customer service. By the look of the ratings I'm not the first they've been rude to. I've managed several multi million dollar retail stores. The gentleman helping me was very polite and patient with me, as I was a little frazzled having never shipped a package before. As I was filling out the paper contact form with both mine and the recipient's address on it, another woman who worked there (short blonde hair, not wearing a name tag OR a face mask) came to the register and began abrasively shouting at me to "hurry up". She was aggressive, extremely rude, and yelled at me the entire time. I wish I'd gotten her name. Avoid this woman at all costs! Thank you to the gentleman who helped me tonight, I am so sorry that you have to work with her. I wish I'd gotten your name so that I could commend you for how patient and kind you were. Awful customer service by the manager/owner. I had 2 separate packages and explicitly asked for them to be rung up as separate transactions, I also reminded them they needed to be separate. They did them as one transaction which has one receipt which had both transactions on it. I need the receipt to a customer that cannot have the other items on it. When speaking with the owner to try and rectify the problem he was extremely apathetic and refused to offer any solutions. I asked if the transaction could be cancelled and re-done and he refused to do this as well. These people were very rude to me. When I walked in the woman appeared angry. She also was annoyed because I had multiple items to scan and I had a question about one of them since I had two of the same item to return. The owner was very rude and acted annoyed that I had a question about verifying one of my items. The woman kept telling me that the sign in front of the store said to "have your items ready." She would not listen to the fact that I may have mixed up items and was asking for help. Then, when other customers came in, they proceeded to tell me how most people just come in ready to send their stuff off and leave and don't have questions. I guess these people never make mistakes. I decided to use this store to ship a special gift to family in Washington for Christmas. They said they could get it to the destination in 3 days. After 5 days... it still hadn't arrived. I went in with my tracking # off the website for UPS. The owner was very flippant and simply said it's missing. You need to start a claim. I have gone to the store on 12/17, called UPS to follow claim number because I never got a call back from Canby store, took copy of invoice for proof of gift sent to store on 12/29/20. They said now claim amount for refund would be sent to store and owner would contact me. As of January 14,2021.... no word and no contact. Customer service at this store is severely lacking. Losing the special package was heartbreaking enough, but the lack of empathy and caring made it worse. Worst treatment of customer ever. Middle aged brassy woman was not JUST rude, but filled drama, waving me off with dismissive gestures. I had gone in for notary services and I needed two witnesses. Warren, the owner, and two employees were there, however the woman informed me that I had to bring my own witnesses and to talk to a lawyer. Apparently there isn't a modicum of empathy in this woman. It's hard enough to recognize that the time has come to obtain a power of attorney for a loved one, without being treated poorly by someone that is supposed to be a proffesional. I tried explaining that I understood the rule and had wanted to ask a couple of additional questions, but she was raising her voice, turning her head away, and made it very clear she was not going to entertain any further questions. Funny because 15 minutes later, I had another notary take care of our business, and next week, I will be using ANYONE else but this store for additional notary services I anticipate. The fact that the owner allowed this to go on in front of him, without intercepting is appalling, and I will no longer bring my business to him. Good riddance. read more
