This is a terrible UPS store, but worth a stop in for the comedic value. I came in needing 2 photos for an international driver's license. $18 by the way! The 2 employees were having an argument, so I had to wait a bit for them to take a break from that. The one who agreed to take my photo decided to take a personal phone call, so I had to wait another several minutes for her to finish that. The photos came out OK. read more

Terrible customer service. Two employees worked on a 4x6 box while I had my arms full with three boxes, one quite large. There was only one other customer in the store. No one offered a place for me to put the boxes down and I am not a strong woman. Finally I went to put my three boxes on the counter. But because my arms were so weak from holding them so long, I couldn't pull the boxes high enough to reach the counter. They hit the side of the counter and I fell onto the ground, along with all my boxes. The manager just walked away. They hardly spoke to me or acknowledged me while they rang up my items. No apologies and it all could have been avoided if someone had just acknowledged me and showed me where I could put down my boxes. I sent this UPS store an Email after hours asking for charges and time frame on a sign that I needed, after a sign store never responded. They Sent me an Email back first thing in the morning with several options and prices. I wasn't sure exactly what I needed and didnt know how it would turn out, so I called the store and spoke w. Leslie. He answered all my questions and was so nice and helpful. He assured me that Roy, who designs and prints would do an excellent job. He even suggested I get a foam backing and am so glad I did. Less then 2 hours later I received an Email that my order was ready. So fast and Efficient! Avoid at all cost. This place is highway robbery. They charged me $10 PER STAMP for notary. The surrounding UPS stores are $10 for the first and $4 for the ones after. I was also told they CANNOT sign for a trust , and the notary did it anyways. Really unhappy with their services. The manger of the store also has no clue what's going on. First he was pretty strong to tell me about the services and cost and that they don't do trust, then when I said I already had it signed on 3/31 and I was calling to question the cost because of what the neighbor UPS store said, he quickly backtracked his words. read more

I recently had a passport photo taken at this store, and also paid the $19 for them to mail my passport application securely to the passport office. Well, my passport application was rejected by the National Passport Office because the photo wasn't right, and they sent the application back to me. I took it back to this store this morning and asked them to take another passport photo and to resend the application to the passport office. They agreed to take another photo for me at no cost, but they said I would have to pay again to ship the application back to the Passport Office. When I asked why I had to pay again when their mistake meant my application was rejected and sent back, I was told that the post office is the one which actually mails the application, so they couldn't send it for free for me. I'm the customer; I don't know the ins and outs of who pays for what, and what agreement you have with the post office. I just know that because of this store's mistake, I have to re-mail my passport application. And I have to pay $19 dollars again? The employee was polite about it but I didn't understand the logic of this. He kept saying "but I can take another photo for you for free" (I would hope so!) And then he offered to see if "the computer" could give me a discount, and it ended up being able to knock off $1. So I had to pay $18 instead of $19 (!) Why was he acting like the computer was the boss of this whole situation? Why couldn't he give me a 100% discount, was that not his or at least the manager's choice? Surely if your business made the mistake, your business should take the financial hit from the post office or whoever mails things for you. Why am I being charged $18 again for YOUR MISTAKE? You've lost a customer over $18. I'm writing this review for those who are thinking of getting their passport photos taken here.... DON'T. read more

I like this location. Most of the time I just have an Amazon return or two, or a single small package. Every once in a while I have 10-15 large heavy boxes all at once that I send out. The guys at this location are always helpful and quick. They have even helped me unload the large boxes from my vehicle a few times which is appreciated. :) read more

I went in to buy one stamp and mail a greeting card. It never arrived at the destination. When I called to question the tracking number on my receipt, the employee unapologetically said there isn't one despite there being one on my receipt. Stick with the post office folks. read more

Mike is absolutely the best help! We are in CA and he helped us pick up, pack and ship several items in Florida to ship to us. Most items were fragile glass and everything arrived without a single damage. Everything was packed securely and safely and the best part is he did not charge us an arm and a leg to do so. One of the shipments had difficulty being picked up but Mike went out of his way to store it somewhere safe even when his store couldn't spare the space. I hunted around to get someone to print a blueprint sized job. Most couldn't do it, were expensive and only one seemed sure of what they were telling me. I called this UPS store, and JJ immediately told me what they could do and what to expect. Helpful, less expensive than some other options and an onsite graphic design guy even cleaned up the edges of the document to make it look cleaner and more professional for me. I really want to give this location 4 stars even though the prices are horrible. You can't really hold the high prices against them because that's the same price gouging that is going to happen at any pack and ship type store. On one occasion, I really needed to make sure that something was super well packaged for shipping a particularly fragile and expensive item. I just want to take a moment to recognize Mike from the UPS store on Palmbrush Trail. A couple months ago I had mailed a package that ended up getting lost. I kept the tracking slip, however, I was unable to read the first couple numbers from the tracking #. The only way I could possibly figure out what happened to my package was by figuring out these first couple numbers from my tracking number. Well when I went into the UPS store and told Mike my dilemma, he went out of his way to help me. He ended up having to look through over 400 different orders to find my tracking number. I truly appreciate him taking time to do that, which allowed me to figure out what happened to my package! On top of that, he was extremely helpful, had great customer service, and did everything he could to help me resolve my problem. The person working asked for my phone number as part of the transaction; I don't generally give it out to businesses so I asked for clarification why it was needed. The person replied that he needed it to print the label, which the post office does not, but when I asked for more information he got hostile real quick and told me to go to the post office instead. So there's a smug punk that works there, curly dark brown hair. And not once have I been inside the store where he doesn't give me attitude or a talk down to me. Acting like he knows better where to send MY package and telling me that my package is probably not going to get to where I want it to go. Instead of letting me explain that there is no PO Box number nor street address for the IRS department of treasury in Fresno, and I've sent tariff there before, he said, he said "it doesn't matter im telling you that's not how it works,l" idk why but just his tone of voice and attitude is just very poor and lacking of a quality customer service rep. The owner Mike (tall white guy with white hair) who forgot to put a label on my package shipped it in an amazon box without the label. He argued it prints a label so I put a label on it. I said what if you made a mistake and didn't? He said I don't make mistakes. The two timed I have dealt with him he has acted like a prick. One a couple years ago. He has an attitude and acts short with customers. Now that I pulled up the tracking info it shows he scanned the label, but was never shipped aka he never put the label on it. This is by far the best UPS Store in the Bradenton/Sarasota area. I actually drive past two other UPS stores to use the services at this Palmbrush Trail Store. I moved into the area 3 years ago and work from home. As such, I am shipping and overnighting boxes and documents constantly. Having been "burned" on a crucial overnight delivery by one of the other local stores, I was concerned when I walked into this store to overnight documents to my attorney. BROKEN ceramics on MULTIPLE PACKAGES. VERY POOR customer service by Mike the manager who was given every opportunity to fix the situation. But was RUDE, dismissive, placed all the blame on to the buyer from ebay and on to me, took no responsibility, refused to trust me as a customer, refused to take phone calls, accused me of being rude, when in fact i was super nice , even complimented them at first and was very very supportive after the first Break. then after the second break i even gave him the opportunity to just pay us back the actual costs which were 374.13 and he went crazy. he was rude to my elderly customer, he lied to me, he lied to my customer, he tried to cover his tracks, he said he was the owner of the store when in fact he owns a different store and he refused to have the owner of this store call me. I asked nicely repeatedly to have the owner of the store call me and then he refused and said all communication would be done only by email. I recently PAID for over ten items to be packed and shipped for a elderly customer who donated items to a charity auction we did on ebay. this store is un-professional. I had to write and give this rating after my experience with needing very important documents notarized. I'm from Dallas, TX and my parents live in FL. So upon arrival and requesting to have my documents notarized, Mike listened to my situation and walked me through the notary process and even assisted with an important phone call I made to Boston as we got the additional information needed have the documents notarized. Mike took almost an hour with me as the other customers were being assisted by the staff on hand. He knew this was a very personal and situation which he also shared his personal experience with me as well. He took a very emotional situation and made me feel everything will be just fine.
