This UPS Store is my go-to spot (out of necessity) for online returns, even if the parking situation is a little unusual. There isn't any real designated parking--you basically pull up in front like a "drive-thru," hop out, and run in. One funny thing: every time I walk in, they say, "Thank you for using the Kiosk," whether I actually used it or not. It's become kind of a running joke in my mind at this point. That said, the staff is consistently helpful and genuinely nice. Whether I bring in an Amazon return or something completely unrelated, the guys working there always take care of it quickly and without any hassle. They're efficient, friendly, and make the whole process easy. read more

The store is very unprofessional. They just do not answer the phone ever. I tried for an hour. I went there. I left some papers that were very important. All I had to do is go to another UPS store have them faxed over. Nope they don't answer the phone so I had to drive all the way back 40 minutes round-trip because these idiots don't know how to conduct business and answer a phone. I don't care how busy you are. You should answer the phone. There's three people working one of them can answer the flipping phone. I hope your boss sees this because you're really unprofessional not answering the phone for over an hour. read more

I have been to the UPS store twice this week, and had outstanding customer service from the owner, Akshay both times. I am from NYC where customer service goes to die. This Sarasota UPS store is how customer service should be experienced. Akshay and his store is a glowing example of a business that is doing it right. Thank you. read more

Cut off time is at 5:30 pm. Due to traffic I arrived at 5:25. 2 employees rushed package thru, one entering info, the other weighing and measuring and had the package ready to go as the UPS truck pulled up. What fantastic customer service. This was my first time using this store, it won't be my last. Well Done, and Thanks! read more

This store does just fine for sending packages. However they advertise for being a notary. They only notarize Monday through Friday 11 to 4. They also only notarized some documents not all documents. There is no point in calling to see if yours is one they notarized because there is not consistent training across all personal. So so.eone could tell you yes they notarize the document you have and then when you get there someone else will.say they don't. In response to the businesses response, your people on Saturday only said that they couldn't notarize on Saturday. They never said they couldn't notarize my document, they just said they didn't notarize on weekends. Had they said that, I would not have bothered to take time off from work to drive to your location a second time. I would have just gone on to one of your competitors like I did. There is no stunt, just sharing my experience with your establishment. You seem a bit heavy-handed with respect to stunts and holes in the ground, so you keep doing you if that works. read more

I called this store needing to ship a few complicated items (Neon sign, fresh flowers, votive candle holders etc.) and the owner Akshay guided me through how to package these items. He even said he would come in at 7:30 AM (even though he wasnt supposed to work until 4pm that day) to personally package these items up for me. I arrived at 7:30 AM and he was already there waiting just to help me. He was incredibly helpful and I felt confident that all my items would arrive safe. They arrived safe and so fast! I cant recommend this UPS store enough. The owner is wonderful!!! read more

I usually never write bad reviews, just vote by my feet. This UPS location service member was so rude and willing to make me hard time that I recommend everybody to go and look for some other location. I brought 2 packages under same QR code of return to Amazon (Amazon generated it this way), all what he needed to give me a tape to tie them together and send it for return. He developed whole story about, told that corporate do not allow to give tapes to customers and refused to take the boxes. I left the place and went to other UPS store on the same street where people were happy to help me and send the packages for the return. The same way like they were shipped to me. Stay away from this UPS location! read more

Go to a different UPS store PLEASE. I seriously hate writing reviews like this but I just have to warn people and feel that it's essential to share our own personal experiences and support businesses in a time like this that deserve it. I called this store at 11:40am, asked when they close. They said 12:30. I showed up at 12:15pm, the doors were locked, then a group of ladies came to the door and they unlocked it for them. I looked at the owner Brenda and asked if they were open. She rolled her eyes at me and pointed at her sign on the door which said closes at 12:00pm. I said "I'm sorry I called and Megan told me you close at 12:30" ... she then continued with a sassy attitude and said "what do you want?" And I said "I have a amazon return package" her body language was so bad I was almost scared to follow her in but I still did because I needed to get this done. I go inside and she keeps complaining about everything she has to do to help me. I said very gently to her "excuse me I don't understand why you are treating me this way, I'm a customer." And then she says "we are usually closed right now" and then I said "well Megan told me that you were open, that's not my fault? Had I known I wouldn't have come, that's why I called ahead of time" and then she yells at me and says "Megan doesn't even work here she doesn't know anything" and then I said "well that's not my fault?" Megan then dares to interrupt me and yells at me and commands me to stop talking and points her fingers at me. I thought I was in a movie. I just said "I'm sorry, I wouldn't have come had I known I'd be treated this way" Brenda continued my order, which I'm very grateful for and I told her that. Brenda remained silent and in the end said have a good day. I don't care what who when or what happened to her. This is not how you treat people who come to your store. Absolutely insane. I know this was long but I'm just so disappointed with how I was treated. There are MANY UPS stores in the area, I had no problem driving to one that was only 2 mins out of the way. Save yourself some time and go somewhere where your business will be appreciated during this pandemic read more

This store has amazing customer service and a wonderful attitude to match. We rented a Mailbox for 6 months and had to accomplish many tasks to move from CA to FL. We used their email services, copy services, notary services as well as receiving our mail there. Thank you for your outstanding customer service. read more

This UPS store gave great service, fast, courteous, efficient.

In the last week, I've needed several different services that this UPS store provides. Each time I've been in, Sarah has helped me. Each time, she went above and beyond. She repacked a package for me to make it more economical and safer. She, and the rest of the team have great attitudes and I saw them treat all the other customers with courtesy and professionalism. The notary, Akshay, was a great help to me with a document I needed notarized. This is a store UPS should be very proud of! read more

I recently moved to Sarasota and have been to this UPS store recently a few times simply for Amazon returns. The staff is very pleasant and accommodating. Not sure why I am so surprised at finding truly nice people but felt this store deserved a great review!! :-) read more

I just wanted to take a moment to say that team member Russell is a rockstar. Honestly one of the nicest most accommodating customer service representatives I have had the pleasure of speaking to in a very long time. He helped me navigate an issue all the way from Fort Lauderdale. After dealing with several other stores that were NOT helpful I couldn't be more appreciative of Russell and Store No. 2689! I hope UPS truly appreciates the value they have in Russell. read more
