Huge fan of coming here however, there is one complaint that I feel needs to be brought up between employees. I always receive amazing service from the young boy upfront with a little bit longer hair. He's absolutely incredible with customer service. However, I would like to leave a bit of a note for the older guy who I believe is the manager. I think it would be wise if when your employees make a mistake, you don't publicly announce it to the customers waiting in the lobby. As I was waiting for my mail, the older Manager started making a scene about a mistake, The younger kid had made. This is something that needs to be corrected in private not in a situation where customers are in the lobby waiting. I can't imagine how he talks to his employees behind closed doors, if this is how he speaks to them in front of customers. So my review is this, I would leave five stars for the young boy upfront who is quick efficient and always nice. the older guy who is usually in the back, step it up.

Also after having the pod only a week they took money from my bank stating that was for a months rent. Then had to wait for over a week for them to refund my money.

I have several issues to cover. (1) it takes over an hour on the phone to order one of these. It…read morewould appear very simple, but they cover so much 'up charge' information that it is a total waste of time. (2) my POD was delivered and I believe it is the very first POD ever put together. It is a plywood box framed with 4x4 posts and 4x6 posts going across the top (see pictures) - definitely not what is shown on there website and in their videos. The square footage is reduced by these beams significantly. There are 6 vertical posts and 3 horizontal posts across the top. (3) also when it was delivered, there was a MASSIVE OIL SLICK that runs the length of the POD. A wet oil spot that will soak into my boxes, mattresses, and anything else I have down that will absorbed oil. When I asked the driver about this she stated that this POD was used by a restaurant and the drivers had RED TAGGED this container, but the manager removed the RED TAG and gave it a GREEN TAG, which now I am paying for because I wasted my time and this is going to impact my schedule. (4) my POD was delivered at 7:30am and PODS doesn't open until 8am. There was NO CUSTOMER SERVICE until 8am to assist with my issue. I told the driver to inform her manager, so she called. I overheard the manager say "He'll just have to deal with it." (5) The driver could not take this POD because she was scheduled to pick up one after my drop. (6) I CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SHE HUNG UP ON ME while I was explaining my issue. I called back and got a voicemail that said I had a 10 min wait to talk to a rep and then THAT HUNG UP ON ME. I called back to find a one hour wait, so I hung up and called back to get a 1 Minute wait. (7) I have been on the phone now for 26 minutes and they said they will try to get a container to me Monday (today is Saturday), which totally throws off my timeline. The sad part of this is that all of this could have been avoided. Please see the photos for yourself.

The photo emailed to me was not of my front door and there was a note that "the business" was closed. I live in a single-family home in a residential neighborhood. After contacting the shipper, I was told they would try to get my packages redelivered. I was telephoned by Fed Ex at 5:44 p.m. and advised I could pick them up, but I would have to be there before their closing time of 6:30. I told the caller I was a half-hour away and she said she would leave a note for the people in the office that I was coming. I arrived at 6:20 p.m. and the lady in the shipping office told me I had to arrive by 6:10 in order to pick up my packages. I told her what the person who called me from FedEx told me, and all she would say was, "You can pick them up tomorrow." Actually, I can't because I can't get there during your Saturday operating hours. Fed Ex wasted my time, gasoline and they are just the worst.

However I now had an extremely delicate piece to ship which caused me great anxiety-an INCREDIBLY FRAGILE porcelain figure to ship from Florida to Maine. It was very RARE also and I worried about the shipment the entire way. It was a figure of Christ on the cross with very DELICATE outstretched arms=nightmares and tremendous trepidation over this shipment and receiving broken arms. Chuck at PakMail did an absolutely MASTERFUL job of packing this incredible fragile item by creating a CUSTOM TRIPLE foam cradle for it to ride in. Unbelievable TREMENDOUS care was taken to get this to me safe and sound. If I had to ship anything PRECIOUS across the world I would hire this Pak Mail to do it-WONDERFUL ALL THE WAY!!
