I brought a print job to Tom and Elainey last week. It wasn't an easy one, being that I'm located in Austin, Texas and our client is near Boardman. We used our local Minuteman here in Austin (they are great) to run 2500 8-page brochures only to realize too late that there were mistakes. Yep. That means I'm paying out of my own pocket for the "re-run." Rather than shoulder the shipping costs again, I searched for a printer close to our client. Alas, the clouds parted and a ray of sunshine lit up my Yelp page!! There's a Minuteman in Boardman!! I knew upon my first call with them I made the right choice. Elainey kindly listened to my plight and was ready to jump in and help. Over the past week, myself and my team have worked closely with her and Tom to make sure this next run was PERFECT. They went as far as to print multiple proofs for me & took snapshots with their phone so I could rest assured that I would be delivering a perfect product to my client. (Who does that?!) They never seemed rushed, although I know they are busy. They always listened, although I know I talked too much. They are great people running a great business and I think you've found your printer!! I know I have!! I'm not even kidding. For domestic send outs - it is pretty straightforward and efficient. For overseas shipments - I got the impression they don't get a lot of them. It was a multi step process that required two other workers for "trust but verify" questions. The service was always friendly and accommodating. Although the overseas items took longer to work out than at other post offices, the parcels got to where they needed to be and all was well.

I asked for a garage full of stuff to be taken away and was given a price of $884. Seemed a bit high but agreed just to get rid of the stuff. I next asked what the cost would be to remove a large TV from my basement as well as clear out a shed. I was told that would be an additional $550. Again, seemed high but I agreed. The guys worked for about an hour and a half and I was told that they would return the next day to finish the job. I was not around on the second day but when I did return to the house, I noticed that everything from the previous day still remained in my garage and they had only removed the tv and two other items. I called in to someone named Nick who proceeded to tell me that they removed everything I was quoted for and that it would cost me another charge to remove the rest. So not only did the $884 cover what they told me it would, I was charged an additional $550 for a tv, old wooden wheel barrow, and a small shredder! What a scam. I stood there with one of the workers, Chad or Jason, and clearly explained and showed what needed to go and agreed to their price. Unfortunately for me, I paid them for everything on the first day so it was really easy to rip me off. I would caution anyone using this company to ask to see all of their photos before agreeing to anything. The people who come out to quote the work take pics and must send them in to their boss. They then use those pics to prove what they took. Never was I shown any photos but all I heard from Nick was that they took everything in the pics. So even though I said to take EVERYTHING as I showed these guys what I wanted done, the pics they took apparently only matched up to about 1/2 of the actual items. I guess it's a pretty good scam as long as you can get people paying up front. My bad for being such a sucker.
