Came with a group on a busy Saturday evening. I ordered the Mediterranean Salad. It was a nice sized portion, fresh and tasty. I also tried some bites of the cheese pizza:thin crust with generous cheese, nachos Veracruz: crispy chips with cheese smothered with avocado and purple onions, cherry tomatoes, and jalapeños, and the Italian Nachos: oven roasted nachos smothered in white cheese with a marinara dipping sauce, and also tried the zucchini noodles with a butter garlic sauce. Some other dishes ordered (I didnt try) were Mac & Cheese balls, French onion soup, seared tuna, penne a la vodka, and pizza with vegetarian mergez and red bell peppers. Everything looked appetizing when served. Service was good considering the place was absolutely packed. The only negative were the very filthy bathrooms. No cookie cutter homes here. Upper Crust is a lovely restaurant with modern decor. The menu is design to make sure there is something for everyone in your party. We ordered a backed Ziti, a pizza pie and blacken tilapia fish dish. All were perfectly prepared and delicious. The service was fast and friendly. I have to say to start with the experience i had was not good. we called up for a reservation, As we had 12 people in our group. They said on the phone no problem come down, but they did not take reservations. We got there and there was a table set up for 12, And the manager said that was for another group who had a reservation?????????? Wait a second did they just tell me they do not take reservations????. we sat there for over 15 minutes before then other party got there then we waited another 35 minutes before we finally got two tables not near each other. the service was extremely slow and the food was not that good. unless i had to i would never go there again. shame on you upper crust for making different policies for different customers????. read more

My biggest disappointment with the place is that they literally kick you out we got there around 830 and around 950 they brought us a check and multiple times told us we are closing . The nachos were delicious, they had real pieces of avocado. PizzAs are all made with a brick oven. The buffalo pizza was a hit or miss with some of us, I personally liked it, it was creamy and good, others didn't like it as much. Portions are big. Service was decent too. One Friday morning over the summer we desperately needed to find Shabbat dInner because our oven and stove weren't functioning properly. My brother ordered the teriyaki salmon entree with a few sides, and I built a salad. The salmon was very tasty, but my salad did not taste fresh at all. Just trying to enjoy a nice night tonight, decided to order Uber eats order the tuna steak Uber driver came and the whole dish was not there. I called upper crust immediately and they nonchalantly said "oh we don't have the tuna" no apology no I'm sorry, nothing. They let you order from the menu on Uber and it says nothing about not having the dish, or giving you an alternative. So this total moron answers the phone and doesn't even have the common decency to say I'm sorry, all he states in a monotone is "what would you like me to do sir we don't have it" Thanks for being unprofessional, unreliable, and ruining my Saturday evening. I ordered the branzino dinner from upper crust, which comes with a side of sautéed spinach and whipped truffle potatoes. The branzino was TERRIBLE, it was the driest piece of fish I ever had in my life. I couldn't finish eating it because it was SO DRY. I don't know what they did to get it so dry, because branzino is a very moist and succulent fish. They forgot to give me my sautéed spinach. I asked to switch the mashed potatoes for truffle fries, and they put the fries in a container with fish, which makes the fries soggy. It's standard practice in restaurants everywhere to put fries in a paper bag so they don't get soggy. That's Restaurant 101. I wasted my money on this terrible food, and I will never eat the lower crust, again. read more

I would have given 4.5 stars for lack of attention by wait staff in regards to refills and following up consistenly after ordering. On one occasion the wait to order after given menus was a bit. But nothing that would deter me from returning. And granted they may have been busy with other chores, i just tend to down the small glass portion faster than others. Food is fresh and the items and well balanced and offer a bit for everyone. Great selection of appetizers and salads. Pizzas are well done in a brick / wood fired oven. Pastas offer a selection of both dairy and vegetarian selections. And did i mention the menu has a well balanced mix. This place has a little something for everyone in the family. A little pricey but id rather pay a little extra for a experience that doesnt dissapoint. Find a seat away from the door when its cold out, tends to be a draft which can be uncomfortable. No. That really sums up my experience there today. My friend and I waited for 15 minutes just to get a table. Once seated, it took a while for the server to take our order. When we actually sat down to eat we were all so frustrated everything was cold tasteless and just pure gross. When we called and asked for a refund of 182 dollars they said they don't have the authority to give us more then 50 so now I have to chase the main office to get my money back. We told the lady we would be there at 9:15pm since we don't live in the area, she told us as long as we are there before 9:45pm we will be seated. Drove 40 minutes, got there at 9:16pm.. at 9:18pm the waiter told us we can't be served since it's past 9:15? We told him to double check bc we drove all this way and even called to confirm! At that point, the manager approached us and told us that he can't seat us..! I told him I would be writing a review and he quickly apologized and offered us a seat. We left.
