We always joking called it "Slow-dells" because of how they would take 45 minutes to bring the food AFTER you called it in prior to driving there. Now, we pulled up and placed the order and it was out piping hot within 10 minutes. Absolutely amazing! I don't know what they changed, but they've cracked the code and I wish them all the success in the world! Our food: Mom got a cheeseburger basket, which was perfect! Husband and Dad got Big Moe baskets, again perfect. I got a hotdog (for old time's sake) and it was everything I remembered as a kid. So delicious and nostalgic. I also had a chicken tender basket and it was good. It wasn't the same chicken tenders and bbq sauce that it used to be, but like most places, that is hard to keep the exact same over the years, especially with varying food service providers and whatnot. We parked and looked over the Menu and decided to order a couple of Hamburger Combos. It came with Burger ( With all the Trimmings ), Fries, and a Drink of your choice. The service was quick and the lady took our order and it came out at a very reasonable time. Our server that brought our food out was very courteous and had a big smile to greet us. My Burger was fantastic and the fries were hot and extra Ketchup and Salt were provided. My Soft drink was just as I order it and it was refreshing to taste. This was my first time eating here, but my wife had been here before when they came out on Roller Skates. ( Shows our Age )...... The place was clean and that makes a good impression on visitors coming in from others Towns, Cities and States. I like that clean home idea with all of the Mayberry Memory items on display.
