The main challenge is the claw strength -- several times the claw would grab a plushie, lift it up, and then drop it once it reached the top. The weight of the plushies definitely plays a role, so some machines require a bit of strategy and patience. The staff were very friendly and even added more plushies to the machines to help make it easier for the kids to win, which we really appreciated. The space was clean and welcoming. $20 for 23 tokens is a solid deal, and we ended up spending almost 40 minutes inside having a great time.
