Other than the two bathrooms, the amenities included mini fridge, safe, bar/vanity area. A big couch. No outlets in the bathroom. I used the bar area as the vanity to plug in my flat iron. The beds were not comfortable. It sinks in the middle. I literally slept on the very edge of the bed and my body still sank towards the middle. Parking is $30 a night. If you're Diamond status and up, it's free. There are two parking machines to feed your ticket by the stairs. You can also feed it at the gate when you leave. Best to do it beforehand in case your card needs assistance. The location is central and walking distance to everything. CVS is outside on the main street to pick up water or what you left at home. You can get coffee at Starbucks downstairs in the lobby or outside next to CVS called Noel's. Access to Ceasar Republic is connected underground to go across the street. You can casino hop very easily. The casino itself is out dated and small that the air circulated with cigarette smell. I had my mask on but the cigarettes were so strong.

We could hear people on the hallway and next door. Elevator screens didn't show what floor you were on or going to. So that made things a little confusing. Lots of areas undergoing construction, like the arcade. And pretty expensive too. The resort fees ($30 a day) and the self parking ($20 a day) make this stay something like a 5 star hotel, but it isn't that. Location is great. Quick walk to Heavenly Village. Love that it's connected by an escalator to Caesar Republic (formerly Harvey's). I probably wouldn't stay here again. I would stay across the street at Caesar Republic which seemed to be newer and fresher.

Beds are comfortable but the pillows are very soft. Tv, fridge and all the plugs for charging devices you need. You can walk to almost everything from here. They also gave us a room looking at roof when the hotel was absolutely dead & a parking pass that didn't work on day two, but they fixed it. Marco, Ron, Trinity & pit boss awesome! Older gentleman at cashier all get 5 stars. Starbucks was opened, but didn't know where the employee were for 20m, cigar bar & Casa Del Sol along w/ everywhere else was a ghost town. I understand 'season closed' & weather permitting, but service was awful!! The room was clean thankfully versus the horror stories we read on the way via reviews. Bathroom door like a prison door from TV! Not once did we eat there due to service. Brian at center bar was zero stars. Rude both days. Said I may burn him w/ cigarette if I ash to the left ash tray...bizarre! Never heard that one in my life. Lady at Blackjack table rude, guy at blackjack didn't hit when I asked him to hit & overall the worst experience & I live in Vegas. So I understand the game & business. Wasn't worth the argument so went to bed & didn't spend another penny.

Caesars took over the old Harvey's years ago, and recently changed the name. They've been doing…read morea complete remodel of the property, with just a few small things left. The remodel is beautiful. Shopping Lots of restaurants, ranging from high-end to food counters,(they have a Carvel! I haven't seen a Carvel ice cream place outside of New York. ) lots of gaming, lots of bars, and they have a large arcade area for the kids. It's all very nice. Harrah's is right across the street, and you can walk between the properties without ever stepping outside. I was checked in by PJ, so friendly, conversational, and helpful. She was awesome. I got an upgrade to a Lakeview room. It was more of a partial Lake view, but still it was nice. Even at full price, it would be worth it.... The room was very large, and clean. there was a full walk-in shower, the TV had a great picture with a lot of channels, and of course movies for rent, plenty of places to charge my gear, and the bed was very comfortable. I slept very well. There is a fridge, but no microwave. My biggest problem, is the nickel and diming. Unless you have "status", there's that ubiquitous resort fee. If you book with the Caesar's app/webpage, it is built into the price, other than taxes. Parking... if you are military or a veteran, you can get a military players card, and that will waive your parking fee. The room's mini bar. Six bucks for a 12 ounce Pepsi? 10 bucks for a small bag of pretzels or a snack size can of Pringles? And if you want something with alcohol, , FUHGEDDABOUDIT!!! Grab some snacks or whatever you want before you get here, and just use the fridge. There's even a dollar tree just a few minutes away. Finally, the Wi-Fi. Basic Wi-Fi, up to 10 MBPS is free, up to four devices. If you want enhanced Wi-Fi, it's eight bucks a day, per... Device.... I just stayed with the basic Wi-Fi. The speed was enough to stream video. Other than the nickel and diming, it was a fantastic stay. . If I could get a good rate, I would definitely stay here again. Thanks!

I always assumed that it was part of Harrahs years back - as in Bill Harrah owning it all. Today its Dotty's. As you walk in there is one step up - be careful - it should be marked better with some yellow tape. Inside it looks like grandmas house. Very cozy and inviting. Not at all institutional... Plastic checkered tablecloths and potted plastic plants - its like grandma put a few slot machines and a bar in her living room. You are either going to love it or hate it - again - its so unique I love it for that. This is a locals casino. This is for people who hate big Walmart and Amazon. Interestingly enough Dotty's is fairly large corporation and I think the business model is to make it look 'mom and pop' when its not. Maybe you just moved here to this city and don't know anybody - this is your new second home. This is going to have a lot of the same crowd all the time. Out the back there are more exits and it goes around to the burger bar's backyard outdoor seating area. Boom!! I could be there as you turn the corner. Thats a cozy backdoor spot nobody knows about... and I think the lure of this place is probably few people know it even exists.

Due to my schedule lately, I've only been able to go there late nights, early mornings. All the employees know me by name and they all are kind and courteous except one. I never see him doing anything except interrupting the main cashier when he or she is swamped with customers making the wait in line more unbearable. When he walks the floor he will pick and choose who he helps. I have sat at machines that the ashtrays are full of cigarette butts, drinks half drank and spills everywhere. He will ask the gal next to me if he can get her anything, she'll order a drink and not ask me anything at all. Come back with her drink and it ask me anything and goes back to behind the main desk. Never clean the station I'm at. And this happens every single time I am there. No service at all from this guy. I took a break from playing one evening, went to use the restroom and he actually came into the restroom and said to me, "if you are not playing you have to leave Dotty's" I said I'm going to the restroom. He said "that's not my problem" totally rude ! I finished pissing and left. Came back the next night and again he told me to leave if I'm not playing. There were maybe 6 customers there at that time. 3am in the morning. And again I was was playing but stopped for just a moment to watch my friend next to me who just hit a bonus. He said if you are not playing you need to leave. This employee does nothing but kick customers out of your casino and nothing else. Last night there were 2 other players in the entire casino and my friend just walked up to me and said he's done for the night. I had 5 dollars left on my machine and said okay , let me finish this off and we'll go home. So rite then he comes up and kicks my 78 years old friend out of the casino and it's freezing cold out with about 60 mph winds. I said just one minute I'm almost finished, there no one even in here, why do you have to be such a asshole. I want the number to your supervisor. I followed him to the main desk and he flung a Dotty's card at me and said now you get out two. I want want this employee fired immediately. His name is Rob and he works the graveyard shift at your stateline,South lake Tahoe NV. Dotty's casino. He is rude all I ever hear come out of his mouth is complaining about this customer or that customer. He is a real problem for your stateline Dotty's.
