The Christmas trees and decor are stunning! Christmas music is playing. Santa, Mrs. Claus, the Grinch. Archie and Tahoe are giving photo ops throughout and they are truly amazing! There are special Christmas drinks, the Tipsy Reindeer was my favorite! We tried the Mac and Cheese and it was very good. They also had a variety of other foods available at different locations in the park, including "Squirrel Bites" and a turkey leg, reminiscent of Disneyland, which we did not try. The view from the seating area is incredible, but once you are down on the field, and walking through the light display, it's magical! There is a sleigh for photos and the tallest lighted tree I've ever seen! And, every 45 minutes there is a light and music display with the tree that is incredible. This is a super family-friendly event, but it also caters to people of any age. We loved this event, and look forward to attending again next year!

I loved our seats and having a table to be able to set our plates and drinks on. Most of our section was shaded from direct sunlight, so we were able to comfortably watch the game while enjoying a bite. The food was great and a huge shout out to the staff working hard to take care of us and the park. We enjoyed the game and my kids were happy they could roam freely within our section. Not the usual stadium seat and I was not complaining. It had been years since my family and I have been here, but we were happy to see the upgrades made around the park. It has come a long ways since it first opened. I realized today that we need to come more often now that my youngest can actually sit through a game. I'm glad to have the Aces stadium here and to see how our little town has grown. We had a blast! Go Aces!

They even gave us free game on a sweet little hill that you can park on the road, hop out and shred the gnar for free. My Son hated the board he got so we went back and they swapped the board and gave him bindings that were easier for him to manage with no fuss, Tyler (i think) was hella helpful. Really knows his craft and understood what we needed to know not being novice shredders! We originally went to get new bindings for this ancient snowboard that was too of the line 20yrs ago lol but not the easiest thing to learn on so he suggested the perfect board for my 10yr old and thankfully he did cause he was able to get on the slope and figure out the mechanics from the first ride. I remember my first time and having a board that wasn't really flat, probably a few inches too long and bindings not pitched correctly really made it frustrating and hard to catch the feeling. Went to a few other spots before here and they were pretty unhelpful outside of trying to sell us gear.

He was passive-aggressive and seemed to dislike tourists, showing contempt for them. We tried to be polite and understanding, thinking maybe something was wrong with him, but it didn't matter. He continued to be rude and arrogant to everyone who came into the store. I can't recommend this store based on his behavior. He was equally indifferent to anyone who tried to speak to him. Considering the wonderful experiences we had during our visit with friendly, helpful, and professional people, this store was a complete disappointment.

The program felt very unorganized, and the coaches (mostly teenagers) did very little to engage or motivate the kids. On three separate occasions, we showed up for soccer only to find out upon arrival that there was no class because the space had been rented out for a private event or the practice had been moved to another location. There was absolutely no communication about these changes. For the price they charge, we expected a much more professional and reliable program. Overall, it was frustrating, overpriced, and not something we would recommend.

It gives both the kids and the adults to come together for the adults to hang out and the kids to get their energy out. When the kids had a later morning class it was nice because the lunch items would be offered so we would have lunch right after soccer. However the past few seasons it's been earlier and earlier. We still make it a habit to hang out afterwards for all parties. They serve alcohol at all times while they are open where my husband and our friend bought a glass of beer to drink during one of the classes for those rough mornings! The sportsdome is a nice alternative for sports from being outside offering a big field, practice field (both turf), basketball courts which can also serve as volleyball courts or even for use for soccer sprouts a time or 2. Sometimes the facility can be very busy as there can be different sports simultaneously happening at the same time in all areas, so parking may be limited, but the parking lot is large you should not have much trouble finding parking. Ladies Bathrooms are also clean. They offer ladies and men as well as family bathrooms located across from the basketball courts. I always see them being clean. All in all, the facility is pretty tidy and offer many trash cans so you can throw away your trash without having to walk far away.

"Community skate rink" appears to mean you already know how the website works and what to do when you arrive. For everyone else, the site lacks info, the mobile schedule is a joke, and there are zero check-in instructions. We arrived early for the 4-5pm public skate and spent half of it in line for skate rentals. Multiple staff, one register, glacial pace. Same line for walk-ups and online reservations, making planning ahead feel symbolic. They take your shoes, the skate hour ends at 5:00pm on the dot, and we left at 4:55 to avoid yet another slow line just to get them back. If you like skating, waiting, and mild confusion, this might be your place.

First of all, the ice is great here and it's a great place to skate. If you aren't wanting to go to South Lake Tahoe, this is really your only other option. They hold many events here including the amateur hockey team games and the UNR team games, so the rink is well kept. The lessons have been decent quality. Most instructors are young ladies, likely high school students, but they do a good enough job for my 4 year old. You get a fair price for a few months of lessons and you get some free public skate passes included. This is a great perk if you can make their public skate work in your schedule. Most of the times are during the workday and school day, there are not many weekend sessions available. (See photo of January 2026 calendar). Not ideal for a working family. My biggest issue with Reno Ice and the reason for four stars is that the communication is not good. They rarely answer the phone when you call, and if they do, it's likely the employee won't know the answer to your questions. The skate lessons are very challenging and confusing to sign up for and no one is really able to help you or explain it to you. Most front desk attendants are young and they aren't able to help you much if it's outside the realm of handing you rental skates and checking you in. Additionally, we showed up for lessons one night and the rink was completely shut down due to a refrigerant leak. While I realize this is a major emergency, a quick email to families enrolled in lessons would have been great and saved us a drive from Carson City. Don't get me wrong, this is a great place to skate, but there is certainly room for improvement in some areas of running a business. Bundle up, bring the fam, and enjoy a skate session here!

I have gone to countless stores and have been met with average service which didn't make the process easier. My girlfriend and I were in Tahoe passing through on our way to move her to a new state. We saw heavenly sports and thought we should check it out. Upon getting to the boot section we were met by the warmest smile by Bob. He started the encounter by having an extremely genuine conversation about getting to know us and asked all about my girlfriend's move. After talking for a long time he asked me about my skiing history and what I wanted to accomplish in the upcoming ski seasons. Having a long history of expertise he was able to bring out a couple options of boots he thought was perfect. I have fat/wide feet and a lot nerve about fit. Bob walked me through each boot and how they should fit. He also tried tricks to make the boots fit perfectly to me. I have never felt as accommodated In the process. He kept talking to us about life and genuinely cared, while being an expert in his job. He was such a kind funny and charming individual. My girlfriend and I walked out of the store feeling truly seen as people, customers, and skiers/snowboarders. Bob deserves all the praise in the world and a huge raise. If every store had more people like Bob the world would be such a better place. It's refreshing to know that the world has people like Bob in it.
