We attended Home For The Holidays on opening day as guests from El Dorado, and overall it was a really fun experience. Watching the fireworks from the suite balcony was a highlight and something both families and couples would enjoy. Walking through the holiday displays was festive and fun, and we especially liked that you could walk through the Christmas tree and present displays it was great for photos and taking your time. It felt easy to enjoy whether you're there with kids or on a holiday date. The only thing I wished for was more decorations throughout the venue to make it feel even more magical. Still, it's a great seasonal outing and worth checking out during the holidays. read more

I guess I didn't realize you could review a baseball field, but here we are! I went to many Aces games as a kid but I had the pleasure of bringing my own children to two games for the 2025 season. What fun! This is a great venue. The tickets are relatively cheap and there is always a lot going on here. The facility is kept up very nicely and they work hard to put on great baseball games. The food options are fantastic and there are plenty of choices. Hotdogs are always a classic but I can't recommend the frozen cheesecake on a stick enough. Yum! Make sure to grab $3 beers upstairs before the game too!! I've always enjoyed my time at GNF and I'll keep coming to support the Reno Aces. Greater Nevada Field is honestly a must go if you're a local and a great time of you're not. Easily one of the nicest minor league ballparks in the country and is has been very well kept over the years. There's no bad seat in the house so definitely pick your spot without worrying about the view; however if you are looking to sit in the sun for the longest you'll want to be down the 1st base side and the third base line will be mostly in the shade. There are a lot of standing tables and areas around the field to wander and watch the game while never sitting in your seat as well. The food options are great and your standard hot dogs, peanuts, pizza, burgers, fries, etc. Of course, be prepared to spend a lot on food as concessions are going to be expensive like anywhere, keep your eyes out for promotional nights if you want discounted food events, but definitely take advantage of mobile ordering as there are several QR codes to scan around the stadium to order ahead and pickup at the mobile pickup from the vendor of your choice without having to wait in line and can save you from missing that exciting home run! Going to an Aces game is always a great time and very affordable as ticket prices for your average general admission range typically between $14-35. Easily one of my favorite ways to spend an evening Reno and I will be coming back for sure. Let's go Aces! read more

We got here often and decided I needed to give a review. This field is awesome and plenty big. The only thing I wish is more shade as the summers get too hot to sit in the sun. We like the party area and have been to events there in the past. The suites are the favorite for our family and we spend time in them twice a year when our Realtors, the Cotes, have their special events for customers and friends. The food is quite good. Believe it or not, the baked beans were really tasty. Hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, potato salad, green salad, mac and cheese, popcorn and deserts. I love the little extras like the fruit alongside the cookies. Then we have beverages plus water. You can sit inside and watch from the T.V.'s or go out on the balcony and look down. Both are fun. The Aces really make the games fun for all. This time it was the Harry Potter theme. They even gave out Harry Potter scarfs. The kids just love photos with Archie. The only thing that would make our experience better is more parking which would probably never happen since it is downtown, and better traffic management. Long lines to get into parking and also to get back out. Many times we leave early to avoid the congestion but then we miss the end of the game. Tonight there was fabulous fireworks and I must say they were just as good as the Damonte fireworks on the 4th. The fireworks keep us coming back on Friday nights even though we get home quite late. We like browsing the gift shop and finding Aces stuff for us and the grandchildren. That works before the game since we can get in early. I was gifted tickets to the Porsche Reno Club. This is an indoor air conditioned club room with live TV monitors to watch the game. If you want to be outside there are a couple of rows with stadium seats. Inside there are comfortable high top tables and bar seating at the window facing the ballpark. Your ticket includes a buffet of various ballpark foods and a bar with alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages. When I was there we had burgers, wings, and hotdogs. My clutch was 7 inches wide. They made me pay for a locker because it wasn't see through. I see multiple people walking around with same size or larger purses/bags that are not see through. They open the gates to the pre-party arena 3 hours before the game but provide zero seating & hardly any shade. So if it's hot, do not get here early. Pretty shitty venue IMO read more

Gayle and I also attended Opening Day in 2022 and 2023. I had tickets to 2024 Opening Day, but due to a family emergency, I pushed our tickets to the next day and with only me in attendance. That game was won by the Sacramento River Cats by a score of 12-7. This is now our 4th Season in a row as 8-game plan season ticket holders. Here are our thoughts as "Veterans". POSITIVES - AAA baseball remains a great game to watch and sometimes despite the "new" rules designed to speed up the game. - As we drive up from Genoa (and back), we slightly prefer day games. - The parking garage across from Greater Nevada Field is easy to get into and a breeze to get back on the road after the game is won. It's a no brainer to buy parking along with our season tickets. - The folks working the game are great. That includes the ones scanning my parking pass, the guys helping us across the street, the folks letting us in at the gate, and the employees guarding and guiding the seating. - I finally figured out the Aces' digital ticketing system! Just don't leave your phone at home. - We love our 3rd baseline seats and usually within day game shade. However, we can't control the weather and what we need to wear. - A walk around the concourse is 3 laps to a mile. I did 9 laps yesterday (1 per inning) and enjoyed the game from different angles and the 3 miles. - The field MC (the Bases are full of Aces!) continues to entertain well. But now that Seth Beer is playing in the Pirates organization, we've lost a little excitement during that at bat. - I enjoy the specialty jerseys and other branded gear. And I want one of those Silver Sox jerseys! - The outfield grass area is spacious and fun. I love the skiing chair designs and the view of the bullpens. I'm also curious about what's going on with the construction further back. OPPORTUNITIES FOR IMPROVEMENT - I really should pay more attention to how the parent club (Arizona Diamondbacks) is doing throughout the season as players come and go between Reno, the Show, and AA. I also remain an A's fan, but in Oakland. - Yesterday's delay in actually getting into the Stadium was pretty much standard as far as longer lines go. Season ticket holders get a special entrance, but there's still only 1 line. - For yesterday's game, I was definitely unimpressed with the concessions compared to last season. In particular, shrink-flation has hit the sausage stand (1st base side) and with a downgraded bun. Then there's the overpriced, under topped, and relatively poor quality ice cream sundae. And then at the beer counter (1st base side), the happy guy who has served for multiple seasons is on hiatus! - Archie the Mascot is all right, but he's not the Philly Phanatic. As for Truckee/H2O, I'm just not into him/her. - How about a standard 10% discount at the Fan Store? That shop is impressive, but priced a little dear in spots. - One of these days, I'll catch a game ball! read more

What a great place for wholesome quality family fun. I have been to a few games now and I definitely plan on making Aces games a part of my spring and summer calendar. Yes, parking can be a pain, the line for security and ticket scanning can be long, the prices for concessions are high- but it's norm for this type of event. It's part of the experience if you will. So either come with your patience and positive attitude or maybe skip coming to the games. The staff that I have met while there have been helpful and courteous. Most seats have a great view of the field. Just be mindful of the time of day. I had seats in section 116 for 6:30pm game in early July and I sat in full sun for almost 4 innings. We always have a good time when we go to Reno Aces games. We have been going to Greater Nevada Field every baseball season since we moved here 10 years ago. We like the special events they have like Star Wars Night, but our favorite has to be "Dog Days" that they host several times a year. We loved bringing our dog to those games and our dog enjoyed them, too! I think my husband especially likes that every Sunday is "Family Sunday" when he can get $1 hot dogs! Plus, the staff are friendly and accommodating. Please note that they currently have a clear bag policy so be prepared! And to pay for everything from tickets to food, they seem to have a "no cash" policy (which kind of annoyed my husband when we had to use a card to pay $2 for his two hot dogs). read more

Greater Nevada Field is a great place to come and enjoy a local baseball game when the weather is nice. They do a great job making the games fun and interactive and really pump up the crowd. They also keep the stadium pretty decent as far as trash and bathrooms go which is appreciated. The best times to come are during special event days such as firework Fridays, Star Wars night, dog days, etc. The biggest downside here is price, not for tickets but concessions- mostly alcohol. I understand it's an event venue, so they all up charge because they can, but $17 for a 4.5% high noon is absurd. They also recently told me I can't bring in my same size small clutch purse I always have (within size guides), when they just got new lockers. Interesting. It was Peanuts Night at Greater Nevada Field, and the Reno Aces were on fire against the Sacramento River Cats once again! It was a fun night with themed Aces jerseys (kid sizes only sadly, but the players wore adult jerseys as did some of the support staff) and tshirts (again kid sized only) and throughout the game were relevant clips of taunting and great scenes from classics we all have enjoyed for years! And, of course, WE WON!!! Aside from the nereids and tshirts nkt being inclusive of the adults who also wanted them, one of the bathrooms had a stall with a busted lock that compromised privacy of anyone in there. This was obviously this way for some time and no one has addressed it. There also was a very rude usher in the section 112-113 area that would not help me locate my row and barked a very sharp "do you have a ticket to go down there?" Ummmm. I don't think I'd be asking for a specific seat if I didn't and if I was asking I obviously needed assistance without me identifying why; aside from having a toddler in tow that was excited to get his first game experience started and a bucket of popcorn not identifying my visual impairment but again I shouldn't have to tell you WHY I needed assistance. The game experience was awesome! Our seats were some of the best in the house and the in game entertainment was really fun and he had a blast. He even got a first timers certificate we can frame and keepsake as a memory he will surely have forever. The concession staff was awesome! Super positive, helpful, and made everyone feel welcome and a guest at the park in every sense of the word. I can't wait to be back for more games and hope it's better overall! read more

I have been to a handful of Aces games over the years and have always enjoyed my time. I've sat in the seats around 1st base, 3rd base, and even got a box for a birthday party a few years ago. As far as the regular seats, they're plastic. The back part is stationary and the seat itself folds down. Not the most comfy. There are cupholders in front of each seat, 1 per person. The box was amazing. It was so nice to have food/drink credit and be able to watch the game inside on the TV or sit in one of the stadium style seats out on the balcony. While you're farther away from the players, you have a better view of the entire game. Food and drink have always been delicious. Staff has been friendly and knowledgeable. I will continue to come to Aces games and support our local team! read more

It's been about five years, or maybe longer since my family has caught an Aces game. We were pleasantly surprised with the updates and forget that we have this beautiful ballpark in the heart of downtown. We need to be better about supporting our team. Sunday was beautiful before the rain, and a fundraiser for my daughter's school brought the family out for some fun in the sun. I was thrilled to see how much has changed and the additions they have made for the whole family. Archie's playground was a little congested, but every kid was enjoying themselves, especially my toddler. Hubbs got to have a cold one in the sun while I tried to keep our little one entertained. The weather was perfect and enjoyed a beautiful afternoon with my family. My only recommendation is to have one more cart of Dip'n'dots. We stood in line for what seemed to be an eternity; 30 minutes later, we weren't far from where we started and nowhere closer to the front of the line. Everything was pretty much out, so that was a bust! It's conveniently located next to the playground, so I heard kids crying behind me because they wanted to go to the playground. (The bar lines moved faster). We plan on getting season tickets and starting a new tradition with our little guy. Our older kids are too cool to hang out with us. Shoutout to the Aces team! Everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful even with the crazy lines and the massive crowd. We'll see you guys sooner than later! read more

All seats have wonderfulviews. the Clubhouse is located over third base side for an additional $50 with food and drinks I believe. The outfield has a grass lawn where you can lay out your blanket and let your kids run around on the grass. There's multiple swings at the out tfield. They have reclining lawn chairs. located in centerfield with a couple slides and a climbing structure. As for drinks, multiple options of local beers. Dippin dots and barbecue available. My husband is a longtime ticket holder from back in the day when the Reno Aces were just starting out. We loved going to the games and always had a great time!! We were excited for the different promos we were given each year as a "season ticket holder" ... such as free stay at the Atlantis and buffet coupons, free gelato coupons, Jack in the Box coupons, Aces Jerseys etc. (so fun). !! Well times sure have changed!!! The giveaways have pretty much diminished and the prices for food and beverages are beyond ridiculous!! Seriously, 2 draft beers cost $30, and then you feel bad because the bar tender also expects his tip! Sheesh, $35 for 2 beers!! Ugh!! The T-shirt giveaway during the game used to be plentiful and a lot of fun!! Now each section will maybe have around 3 shirts tossed their way! That's it!! I guess my bigger issue is the policy in place that Reno Aces Fans are only allowed to bring in 1 plastic bottle of water per fan. Really! That's no way to treat your longtime fans!! It was in the 90's the evening we were there and they made me toss away my lemonade before entering the gates. Greater Nevada Field is my favorite place to watch baseball... and of course, the Aces! This stadium is the perfect size, unbelievably clean and well maintained, and really easy to navigate. I love visiting GNF for a game. Parking is super easy at the 2nd street lot. Even easier if you purchase your parking in advance. The elevator can get a bit backlogged so we typically use the stairs. Getting in to the stadium itself takes seconds with a digital ticket and a clear bag. It's pretty standard that you have to use a clear bag for your personal belongings and GNF provides tons of communications on this in advance of the game and really great signage in the parking garage and walking up to the stadium. The food options aren't the best if you're looking for something beyond a hot dog or nachos, or anything remotely healthy, but this is baseball after all, so I wouldn't expect anything different. Drink options are great--beer, cocktails, canned cocktails, cider, hard seltzers, etc. If you get on the email list you'll receive tons of opportunities to buy discounted tickets, anywhere from $7.75 and up. It's a great way to spend a summer evening at a great price. read more

Earlier this year was my first time back at Greater Nevada Field in about 6 years and then I went recently with my husband. I forgot what a wonderful place it is! My husband and I went to a game for our anniversary and we had an absolute blast! There really aren't any bad seats throughout the stadium. Usually I sit in the grass, but this time we decided to purchase seats. While I completely understand the netting, it is a little bit of a distraction when you're right up next to it (personal opinion of course). The field is very well taken care of and always looks green and beautiful. There is a wonderful variety of food options (Garlic fries are always a win), as well as drinks. I love that they have a full bar to purchase more than just beer, though that line can take a little bit to get through, just a heads up. They have an excellent play area for the kiddos to burn off some energy if they need it. Parking has gone up in price unfortunately, but it is very convenient and they are excellent at directing traffic to keep the guests safe. Another fun thing I got to do this time was utilize the message board for a happy anniversary message to my husband. Highly recommend for a fun surprise if you're going to celebrate an occasion. Ace all is back and as a kick off to a great Father's Day weekend my wife sent me, my older son and father in law to a game against the ABQ Isotopes and it was a blast. The ballpark is so nice, spacious and clean with exciting eats, drinks and amenities around nearly every corner. Taking a 3 year old to the game means lots of up and down from the seats and I was so thankful for the great waking track that runs around the field and offers great views of the game from wherever you choose to stop. I was also super thankful for the outfield kids play zone complete with an Archie bounce house, an epic inflatable slide, play structure and pitching game! After a few innings my dude was itching to burn up the dippin dots he downed and this was just what the doctor ordered. The games themselves are fun to watch abd there really isn't a bad seat in the house. Big Shout out to Chris Payne the amazing voice of the Aces for several seasons running! His commentary in between play really brings the fun to the game and adds so much! I'm grateful to live in Reno and have the Aces here as another fun highlight to the summer! read more

We attended tonight's 4pm game: Aces vs. Tacoma Rainiets and we were all having a really good time, the Aces had a huge 2nd inning and had about a 10-run lead plus it was "Scooby"-night which meant dogs were welcomed in the park; there were so many cute, friendly dogs wandering around, an-star stunt dog performing tricks during some of the breaks plus the cutest bat-dog collecting the baseball bat from the field. It was nearly a perfect experience until it started raining peanuts and bits of half-eaten hot dogs from the upper balcony. A group of us seated in section 102 on the main floor were assaulted by some undisciplined delinquents from the upper balcony with the indifferent parents doing nothing to stop them (I got hit on the head and shoulder several times). We complained to the ballpark security but inevitably ended up leaving before the 7th inning rather than put up with the b/s. read more
