Free Tix from GSR. Always a fun time at the aces games. Thursday was a day game with lots of kids from local schools. Of you haven't caught an Aces game you should.

I guess I didn't realize you could review a baseball field, but here we are! I went to many Aces games as a kid but I had the pleasure of bringing my own children to two games for the 2025 season. What fun! This is a great venue. The tickets are relatively cheap and there is always a lot going on here. The facility is kept up very nicely and they work hard to put on great baseball games. The food options are fantastic and there are plenty of choices. Hotdogs are always a classic but I can't recommend the frozen cheesecake on a stick enough. Yum! Make sure to grab $3 beers upstairs before the game too!! I've always enjoyed my time at GNF and I'll keep coming to support the Reno Aces. Nothing better than a great day of baseball at a great facility!

A beautiful evening at the Aces game!

The more games I come to, the more I enjoy it. It is a great way to slow down and unwind on a summer day. The team store has rotating items that come through, so it's cool to find something different.

Finally got a chance to visit this Greater Nevada Field. Great looking park for the Reno Aces MiLB minor league team. Had a good time, just didn't like the music during game. Loud and hard to focus on the game, specially when foul balls are hit and u need to track them down. But great time. Will return for an Ace's game next time out during baseball season and if they are home while out.

Greater Nevada Field is honestly a must go if you're a local and a great time of you're not. Easily one of the nicest minor league ballparks in the country and is has been very well kept over the years. There's no bad seat in the house so definitely pick your spot without worrying about the view; however if you are looking to sit in the sun for the longest you'll want to be down the 1st base side and the third base line will be mostly in the shade. There are a lot of standing tables and areas around the field to wander and watch the game while never sitting in your seat as well. The food options are great and your standard hot dogs, peanuts, pizza, burgers, fries, etc. Of course, be prepared to spend a lot on food as concessions are going to be expensive like anywhere, keep your eyes out for promotional nights if you want discounted food events, but definitely take advantage of mobile ordering as there are several QR codes to scan around the stadium to order ahead and pickup at the mobile pickup from the vendor of your choice without having to wait in line and can save you from missing that exciting home run! Going to an Aces game is always a great time and very affordable as ticket prices for your average general admission range typically between $14-35. Easily one of my favorite ways to spend an evening Reno and I will be coming back for sure. Let's go Aces!

Went with a group that was able to get some exceptional tickets. Food was priced for the venue. The time with friends priceless and the game was fantastic. One of the highlights was the Friday Night Fireworks show which was spectacular. Would definitely go again!

We got here often and decided I needed to give a review. This field is awesome and plenty big. The only thing I wish is more shade as the summers get too hot to sit in the sun. We like the party area and have been to events there in the past. The suites are the favorite for our family and we spend time in them twice a year when our Realtors, the Cotes, have their special events for customers and friends. The food is quite good. Believe it or not, the baked beans were really tasty. Hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, potato salad, green salad, mac and cheese, popcorn and deserts. I love the little extras like the fruit alongside the cookies. Then we have beverages plus water. You can sit inside and watch from the T.V.'s or go out on the balcony and look down. Both are fun. The Aces really make the games fun for all. This time it was the Harry Potter theme. They even gave out Harry Potter scarfs. The kids just love photos with Archie. The only thing that would make our experience better is more parking which would probably never happen since it is downtown, and better traffic management. Long lines to get into parking and also to get back out. Many times we leave early to avoid the congestion but then we miss the end of the game. Tonight there was fabulous fireworks and I must say they were just as good as the Damonte fireworks on the 4th. The fireworks keep us coming back on Friday nights even though we get home quite late. We like browsing the gift shop and finding Aces stuff for us and the grandchildren. That works before the game since we can get in early. If you are in town and looking for something fun to do, go to Greater Nevada Field to an Aces Game. You will be happy you went.

I was gifted tickets to the Porsche Reno Club. This is an indoor air conditioned club room with live TV monitors to watch the game. If you want to be outside there are a couple of rows with stadium seats. Inside there are comfortable high top tables and bar seating at the window facing the ballpark. Your ticket includes a buffet of various ballpark foods and a bar with alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages. When I was there we had burgers, wings, and hotdogs. This was a comfortable place to watch the game especially on a really hot day.

My clutch was 7 inches wide. They made me pay for a locker because it wasn't see through. I see multiple people walking around with same size or larger purses/bags that are not see through. They open the gates to the pre-party arena 3 hours before the game but provide zero seating & hardly any shade. So if it's hot, do not get here early. Pretty shitty venue IMO

I attended two baseball games this summer. I missed a third due to getting Covid for the first time. I have never been to a game. I am now obsessed and can't wait until the season starts again! They truly take care of this field. Everything is clean. Whether it's where the players are or the spectators. Lots of shaded area. Plenty of food and drink options. Courteous staff. Clean souvenir shop with fair prices.

Registration for the team was done online and wasn't too complicated. Before our first game we had to obtain players cards - the process was easy and only took a few moments. It was also easy to get another later in the season when I lost my original one (whoops!). You are required to give the card to the employee out of the field before the start of the game so they know that every player on the turf is registered. We played the full season and our games ranged from around 6PM to as late as 10PM. 10PM is brutal especially during winter. It was freezing outside and freezing inside. No matter their efforts the field area is still quite cold. My team and I warmed up in the bar area but a dedicated warm up space would be really nice as the bar area was quite crowded most times and made finding a place to stretch hard. We didn't have any of our games rescheduled so I appreciated that as I was worried we may face that concern. Luckily our schedule remained the same throughout the season. I will say as a new player the inconsistent refs were a challenge. One game a penalty would be called, the next nothing. One game they would add players based on the time elapsed and the score, they next they would tell us that only happens in the children's leagues. Not very helpful for those of us brand new to the game and trying to learn the rules and flow. I will say what I appreciate the most about this place is how understanding they were. I was asked to play on a team the following season and after one game realized it wasn't a smart move for my foot. I called and explained my situation and the employee was nice enough to refund my money for the season and let me off the hook of playing. That was very kind. I got a check in the mail about a week after I called and I was grateful for how easy they made it. I appreciate the customer service and it kind of out weighs the awkward parking, cold field and inconsistent refs.

At the end of the month I felt much improvement. The facilities are fantastic! In the Physical Therapy part the equipment is top notch and the staff keeps all the tables and machines sterilized after each use. The other parts of the Sportsdome looked very intriguing for use as a year-round practice facility. There was soccer practice field, a 3/4 size football field, basketball courts, volleyball courts, golf practice area, baseball facilities, plus other areas that we were unable to see. There were tables outside of the practice areas so the parents could sit and watch the children practice through large glass floor to ceiling windows. They even have a snack bar with alcohol sales for the parents to pass the time while waiting for their kids to finish. Reno really needed this kind of facility to give the youth somewhere to practice yearly. It's nice to have the rehab facility right there if a child gets injured.

For this game, they went out of conference and played Georgia Southern. It was competitive the entire way with Georgia Southern winning by a field goal. MacKay Stadium's capacity is 30,000 seats. Although it was announced that attendance was 15,000 for this game, I'd be confident in saying they'd be lucky if there were even 10,000 fans. Basically it was just choose any seat anywhere. It didn't matter. I bought a ticket on TickPick for $12 and sat one half on the Nevada side of the field and the 2nd half at the visiting Georgia Southern side. For a 4pm game in early September, the sun started setting in the 2nd half facing the Georgia Southern sidelines which had fans putting their hands in front of their eyes for most of the 4th quarter. The game atmosphere was pretty relaxed, too calm for my preferences. It felt more like a casual Saturday taking your family to a picnic rather than feeling like an electric college football type setting. Gates opened 90 minutes before kickoff. In the southwest section of MacKay Stadium sits a cool monument of a pack of wolves together which was fun for taking a photo with. Otherwise, walking around didn't offer much. Beneath the stadium scoreboard had fans sitting on the grass and listening to the pregame show being broadcast live. There's a track that separates the stands and the field. Still, fans are allowed to walk around MacKay Stadium at eye level at any point during the game. After the national anthem was sung, they had a fireworks celebration and a flyover from the armed forces military here in Reno. This could have been my favorite part about what MacKay Stadium had to offer. Picture taking was pretty hard. Being from out of town and wanting a memorable photo, the stands didn't rise high enough to snap pics looking down on the entire field, especially from the home Nevada sidelines. Mostly all seating was bleacher style benches, which is normal in college football. Something else I noticed that could be insignificant to others but I found relevant was...at the end of the 3rd quarter and start of the 4th, the game was still very close and MacKay Stadium didn't have any hype music to get fans involved to cheer on Nevada for the home stretch. It was so quiet and the 4th quarter started without having the fans getting involved. That was a letdown for me. Lastly, I couldn't find anywhere to buy parking online. When I arrived on campus, I just found a spot on a side street about 1 mile away from the stadium and walked over to the game. In the end, MacKay Stadium is fine as a college football venue. I wanted more out of the game day experience. I could see if you're a local, there being more worthwhile ways to spend a Saturday in Reno.

Sometimes the facility can be very busy as there can be different sports simultaneously happening at the same time in all areas, so parking may be limited, but the parking lot is large you should not have much trouble finding parking.
