Great traffic control and good stadium layout. The stadium was large, but not too large, with great views, lots of different concessions, and fun shopping (Archie was in the team shop!)--all without massive crowds. And even though it had rained earlier, the seats were completely dry. As an added bonus, the bathroom was also nicer than I expected, with an attendant keeping everything super clean. Maybe because there were so many specialty options, the basic hotdogs here weren't quite as good as other places I've tried. And the Beloved's pretzel was good but the cheese dip was bland and too thin for it, although service was quick and efficient. Next time I'll try a brat or chorizo. Lines were very manageable. Best of all, strong hitters and great pitching led to an Aces victory in a very satisfying, fun-filled game against the River Cats (9 hits means a free Blaze pizza...don't forget to take a pic of the promo code)! Capped off by some really amazing fireworks, this was definitely a fun evening out that needs to be put on repeat!

What a Blast at the Reno Aces!…read more We were invited by some friends to go to a Reno Aces game, and what a blast we had! They had extra tickets, and we ended up with Floor 1 seats right behind home plate--talk about the best seats in the house! It was Family Day, so the hot dogs were only $1.50, and they were hot, fresh, and so good! The Aces were playing the El Paso Chihuahuas, and even though the Aces didn't get the win, it was still such a fun and exciting game. Where we were sitting, we were blessed to have Richard & Kathie, our wonderful hosts in our seating section. Richard was also working the area, keeping an eye on where the foul balls were landing and making sure everyone was having a great time. Throughout the game, there were always team members getting up on different stages during the little breaks, encouraging the crowd to cheer, sing, and dance. At one point, they played the Electric Slide, and of course, I had to get up and join in! Richard came over and danced the Electric Slide with me, and then he surprised me by giving me a game ball! What a special and unexpected moment! The crowd was cheering, and it made the whole experience even more memorable. The atmosphere was absolutely perfect--the energy, the crowd, the music, and all the fun between innings made for such a wonderful evening. We can't wait to go back to another Reno Aces game! It's definitely an experience we'll remember!

I played a season of women's league soccer here. My team was full of rookies, myself included, so…read morewe didn't set the bar too high for our success. Registration for the team was done online and wasn't too complicated. Before our first game we had to obtain players cards - the process was easy and only took a few moments. It was also easy to get another later in the season when I lost my original one (whoops!). You are required to give the card to the employee out of the field before the start of the game so they know that every player on the turf is registered. We played the full season and our games ranged from around 6PM to as late as 10PM. 10PM is brutal especially during winter. It was freezing outside and freezing inside. No matter their efforts the field area is still quite cold. My team and I warmed up in the bar area but a dedicated warm up space would be really nice as the bar area was quite crowded most times and made finding a place to stretch hard. We didn't have any of our games rescheduled so I appreciated that as I was worried we may face that concern. Luckily our schedule remained the same throughout the season. I will say as a new player the inconsistent refs were a challenge. One game a penalty would be called, the next nothing. One game they would add players based on the time elapsed and the score, they next they would tell us that only happens in the children's leagues. Not very helpful for those of us brand new to the game and trying to learn the rules and flow. I will say what I appreciate the most about this place is how understanding they were. I was asked to play on a team the following season and after one game realized it wasn't a smart move for my foot. I called and explained my situation and the employee was nice enough to refund my money for the season and let me off the hook of playing. That was very kind. I got a check in the mail about a week after I called and I was grateful for how easy they made it. I appreciate the customer service and it kind of out weighs the awkward parking, cold field and inconsistent refs.

They have a good selection of beers on tap and even serve hot food and snacks. They have complimentary wifi which is a huge bonus since I've actually gotten work down while waiting for my son. It gives both the kids and the adults to come together for the adults to hang out and the kids to get their energy out. When the kids had a later morning class it was nice because the lunch items would be offered so we would have lunch right after soccer. However the past few seasons it's been earlier and earlier. We still make it a habit to hang out afterwards for all parties. They serve alcohol at all times while they are open where my husband and our friend bought a glass of beer to drink during one of the classes for those rough mornings! The sportsdome is a nice alternative for sports from being outside offering a big field, practice field (both turf), basketball courts which can also serve as volleyball courts or even for use for soccer sprouts a time or 2. Sometimes the facility can be very busy as there can be different sports simultaneously happening at the same time in all areas, so parking may be limited, but the parking lot is large you should not have much trouble finding parking. Ladies Bathrooms are also clean. They offer ladies and men as well as family bathrooms located across from the basketball courts. I always see them being clean. All in all, the facility is pretty tidy and offer many trash cans so you can throw away your trash without having to walk far away.

Nothing happened to him then he elbowed another teammate who fell to the floor in visible pain. That child should have been ejected from the game but that did not occur totally ridiculous. Opposing team kids were also using racial slurs as well as cursing at our team players in both games that were played. One referee was blatantly biased to opposing team as in calling 16 fouls on our team compared to 1 for opposing team. Save your money and go elsewhere to a place that believes in fairness evidently this business does not. Video of the offenses was shown to Chris Earley but he did not change anything. Pathetic! Highly disorganized as well! Go elsewhere for your children.

Usually if you fight in a game you're not allowed to play and are suspended but if you're family rules don't apply to you! As for the fields they're always in terrible conditions because they do tend to have bailes, events, parties, anything really the night before games which leaves them little time for a quick clean up which really doesn't do much. I hadn't been to the freight district in quite awhile! I went to the Great Italian sausage stand, and I got the Italian sausage with peppers and onions. I asked for marinara they didn't have it. The bun was so hard, you barely could eat it and that was $17.12. Then, I ordered at the main concession stand the pepper poppers, blue moon beer and bag of peanuts that was $36.81. The poppers were good and I would have them again!! Later, I went back for another blue moon and soft service chocolate ice cream in a cone. Drum roll please... $26.17.
