Indoor and outdoor seating. Dogs welcome outdoors.
Sheila E.

The restaurant was virtually empty on Monday night at 6:30. They had indoor and outdoor seating which was pleasant. We sat indoors but by the opening to outdoor. Those were the c best parts of the meal. I had their Guinness stew--my husband the bacon hamburger. The stew arrived looking like gruel served to the orphans in Oliver Twist. The broth was watery and gray. It had balls of beef billed as sirloin but textured similar to hamburger. The potatoes and carrots were al dente and were great! My husband's hamburger had good bacon jam but the rest was Meh. The twisted chips ( fries) were handcut, hot , and delicious. It's a pretty location but the food is blah at best. My dog did enjoy the leftover stew.

New Irish Pub in town in the place of an old time favorite place here in Estes. Not sure why this place for another Irish pub but there is a huge annual Irish celebration here in town. Decorated nicely inside. Came here for try them out, we saw they are new in town. We saw they are new so decided to come try them out. First impressions is the bartender doesn't pour a Guinness like they do in Ireland. Not as fresh as in Ireland but it was good. The server was fun and friendly, my wife got a kick out of her outfit. We tried an app and the potato leak soup. The Reuben won tons not too impressive. The soup was exactly how my wife likes it. Hot thin and nicely size pieces of potato. Excellent flavor. The fish and chips was delicious, huge piece of fish cooked crispy and tender fish. The new chef came out and greeted us ask how we liked things. He's planning to change things up a bit. We are looking forward to trying out more things and seeing how the potato leak soup changes. He said he was going to thicken it up a little. Best of luck to you guys

Nice somewhat hidden gem that just opened. The owners greeted us as we entered and were patient and excited to answer all our questions about the place as well as tell us plans. We were then quickly seated. The waiter came over, dropped off menus and we ordered adult beverages. It wasn't so loud that we could not carry on a conversation. In fact, it felt cozy and nice like being in a familiar place. The waiter returned and we ordered. Our food was quickly brought out by the staff and we dug in. It got a bit quiet as we all became involved with our meals. There was really nothing left 'to go' when we came up for air. The food was good, warm, and very filling. We got a chuckle when the waiter asked us if we wanted desert. Another time. I could see this being a place to stop in with friends and look forward to when they open the outdoor and upstairs sections. My only suggestion would be to figure out how to get some $$ and $priced items so visits can be more frequent. Regardless our group plans to return!

We got done hiking pretty late around 9pm. Luckily this place is open later than a lot of the other places in Estes. We walked in and were seated within minutes. I got a Guinness and the Irish Whiskey Chicken. My wife got a cup of the soup of the day which was Meatball Soup and the Raca Uan. Both meals and the soup were delicious, good portions and very flavorful. We loved the Irish music that they had playing and the whole vibe of the inside. Definitely would go back on my next trip to Estes Park.

I thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere of the Irish pub but the food was a solid 2 stars, the exception being the fish and chips dish. The cod was soft and the fries were thin and crispy. Would go again for the fish dish, drinks, and atmosphere, but nothing else.

Newly opened.... Incredible atmosphere in this authentic Irish Pub. We'll be ringing in the New Year here.... at 5 pm- because it'll be 2024 in Ireland! Food is amazing- truly homemade !

Seafood chowder was delicious, but so was Guinness stew, rack of lamb, game burger, and fish and chips.

I heard this place was amazing and that it's a must try in Estes Park but please if you have high taste and are expecting big city level quality, do not get your hopes up! It's not good!! Maybe I'm being snotty for coming from a big city (DC and NYC) so I need to lower my expectations, but I've had great food in Colorado so I don't think that's it. But this was upsetting. And I do appreciate the manager for being so kind because it was really a miserable evening. Starting off we had a reservation at 6:30. So I expect to be sat at least by 6:35/6:40. We made this reservation three weeks in advance. But they clearly oversat people without reservations because we didn't get sat until 7:00. That was frustrating. We waited for drinks for about 20 minutes. They were delicious don't get me wrong. These were the highlight of the evening. The pear spritz and grapefruit margarita were fantastic. Loved. We ordered apps next. I don't know why they think goat cheese is a good addition to potato leek soup. I figured I'd try it because why not. Not good. And the focaccia? Two small slices for $4? I would hope that the waiter would've told us what we were getting because yikes. Why is there more butter than bread? We would've paid extra for two more slices but the transparency made us feel jipped. Now let's talk food. Took about 45 minutes. It's busy, I understand. But honestly I thought it might've been out earlier because our food came out lukewarm. Borderline cold. And talk about salt!!! It was like eating the sea. My mom and I both ordered the filet and were horrified to see it was cut. A filet. It dries it out! But yeah, there was no balance. It was salt on salt on salt. Gross. The waiter was very nice and so was the manager. They asked to take it back. But honestly it was just bad so we were ready to leave. They brought out two free glasses of wine which again was nice. But we again, just wanted to be done and go home. We didn't get dessert even though it was offered. Everything fell so short that honestly I didn't even want to try dessert. Again-- the food is bad. All extremely salty. If you like that, there you go. But the fact that it was basically cold? Yeah that's unacceptable. And as I said, grateful to the staff. But starting off not having been sat for 30 minutes after making a reservation weeks in advance? This was pitiful to say the least. Don't go here unless you want drinks and a beautiful view.

They have what I'd describe as a modern ambiance and lots of natural lighting w their big windows. Food was reasonably priced especially the steaks that were both less than $30!! We were seated in an odd location that seemed to have cleaning supplies and other miscellaneous elements scattered next to it. When being seated, we were given an additional menu that they apparently only offer on certain days, which was not the day that we were there. Service was inconsistent and a bit awkward: sometimes a lot of explanation and attention, sometimes abruptness or nothing. The elk burger was fine and the trout was good. The greens that came with the trout tasted like they were drenched in butter. The fries were described by the person who ordered them as the worst they'd ever had. I didn't think it was that bad, but they did come out basically cold. They also ended by asking to leave a review and mention the server name in the review.

There were a couple of mix-ups with our order, including Mezcal which has a very distinct taste accidentally being added to my margarita, and some incorrect side dishes but the staff handled everything quickly and professionally. Since the restaurant had only recently reopened with a new menu, the mistakes were understandable. I ordered the Smashburger with fries, and my friend had the chicken fajita sandwich with a salad. The food was delicious, and the prices were reasonable for the area. The rooftop offers beautiful views of Estes Park and is conveniently located right in the shopping district. The only downside was the orange barrier coverings around parts of the rooftop while renovations were being completed. They blocked some of the views and took away a bit of the ambiance. Once those renovations are finished, this will be an even better spot. Great food, attentive service, and a fantastic location, I would definitely visit again once the renovations are completed.

We sat down and about 10 minutes later, a couple sat behind us and our waitress visited and brought water to their table first instead of ours. In addition, another couple behind us was not seen by any waiter/waitress and had to ask a worker (who might have been an assistant manager? Although, not clear what his position was) if they can order with him. Overall service felt scattered, a bit slow overall, and unprofessional. Food: I ordered the tex mex bowl with barbacoa. It tasted as expected, nothing spectacular. However, there was a massive piece of plastic in my food. I let the waitress know and she apologized on behalf of the kitchen. I kept the meal because I hate waste and I didn't see any other plastic pieces in the food. Right after I found the plastic, I also discovered a bone in the meat. It was big enough to hurt a tooth if I had bit down on it but thankfully I spit it out before I chewed my food completely. While a bone might be normal to find in meat, I was certainly unhappy that now two objects were in this food. I was never comped for my meal and the manager never visited my table to apologize. I only write reviews if I had a fantastic experience or when I feel the need to warn others about the restaurant. I recommend choosing another restaurant before choosing this one if you prefer quality food and service.
