A little bit of everything you need to decorate, serve, decor for your bathroom or your bar. Candles, napkins, kitchen towels, and hand towels, lagniappe. I love my town of Hudson, and my town of Centerville on the Cape. So imagine my joy when I found out that BTB is also at the Mashpee Commons! I had to get me some of that! Just a lovely place to browse and shop, with incredibly helpful and lovely staff!

Beyond The Barn Boston is a terrific example of the creative and unique decor stores perched in this brick-lined roundabout. Cottage core enthusiasts will love the rustic accents, local artist offerings, and unique accents for kitchen, bath, porch, and everywhere in-between. Personable, enthusiastic staff. There is something great in every direction, and even more downstairs. Truly a fantastic find. This shop has only been here a couple years, and you should call to confirm hours so you don't miss this very enjoyable shabby chic selection.

Barton & Company. The reason why I picked this antique store in particular was because last time when I was on this street, I saw this store and the visual display caught my attention. As much as I wanted to go in and to explore, I couldn't, because I had a hot large pizza to-go with me at the time. I couldn't pick of a better excuse to come out to Hudson then to wander in and know I could find something. The store was not overly dusty as far as vintage shops goes, everything was a visible and you don't feel like you're going to knock anything over if you want to touch or hold an item. I found this beautiful driftwood with a blown glass bowl which they could probably put anything in it and use as a center piece. Totally happy with the find! Overall Service: The guy in here was very helpful and pointed out several different items that he thought would make a perfect gift. I'm still in the process of settling into my new home and now have just the store to go to for eccentric pieces when I start decorating it.

Then we took the trolley and started to roll it out and they freaked out and said we couldn't do that. Then we had to stand there and wait and some man walked over (which is fine but it was really hostile and awkward) and they said to pull the car up. They continued to tell other employees how we tried to take the trolley in some sort of disbelief as if they told us but they never did. Super rude and unclear about policies. A 15 pound table on a trolley won't kill anyone so don't yell at customers for trying to take it out when you didn't try to do it yourself in the first place.

But this time I went on Tuesday to pick up a few things and not only is the customer service lacking but there was no management on site. There were only a few guests in front of me in line and the line grew behind me as there was only one cashier who was processing a credit card application. This poor cashier kept calling for backup and no one arrived for at least 20 mins. Meanwhile people in line put things down and left as they could no longer wait. Finally when cashiers did arrive the crowd erupted in cheers and the staff could have cared less. When I mentioned the wait was too long I was told by the nasty cashier "Well I'm here now". Not sure who owns the store but your "managers" need to be trained on how to properly run a store because they are horrible.
