If I listed even half of the categories you can find at KPD this review would be WAY too long but suffice to say, if you collect it or dream of it, you will probably find it at KPD. The toy section seems endless with many high quality, highly desirable collectibles. Unlike usual consignment shops, some areas are rented by local artists with amazing art. Honestly, we could have spent 1/2 a day there and not have begun to scratch the surface of the inventory. The setting is great-super high ceilings, old wood floors and creative displays. The owner was super friendly, available as needed. We can't wait to return, as my daughter said, "We need to come back all the time or we will miss something!" Crompton Collective is one of my favorite places to go so I had expectations that this place was going to be very lovely. There are some notable differences between Crompton and here. This shop is cute and has plenty of decor, knick knacks, jewelry and unique pieces to look at. It's a cozy little shop, instead of a massive floor separated by different vendors. There are also many unique pieces and decor pieces, not much in the way of antiques or furniture of that sort. The shop is small but well decorated. I took multiple laps and still kept spotting items that i had not seen previous times. It is a nice addition to the shops and stores that now fill Main st in Hudson. I personally did not interact with employees that day because it was busy and there were ample customers with questions and gifts to purchase. I'll be sure to visit again, as there were plenty of little items I wanted to buy that day.

A number of booths featured vintage clothing, and home decor, with the full rainbow of small collectibles and ephemera. The shop is FULL of treasures at all different price points. Furniture, JEWELRY, homewares and decor... They have it all! I think their prices are generally very reasonable and you can see right on the ticket when the next mark down will be (items gradually get reduced the longer the sit). I RARELY leave empty handed. I always find wonderful, unique items for myself as well as fantastic, one of a kind gifts for others! David (long time employee!) recently took over the shop after the previous owner retired. David has EXTENSIVE knowledge of the items and is particularly knowledgeable when it comes to jewelry. Their jewelry selection is truly outstanding. Upon entry, for a $12 fee, you see aisles and aisles of white tents with nice chalkboard signs noting what vendors are in the aisle. This market is stated as a vintage market and seemed to be exactly that. There were artisans and craftsman (people). This is not a flea market or the routine craft fair. Some of the tents were beautifully set up with fake chandeliers and felt like a mini store. It was lovely. One tent was selling old ladders and crates. There was an artist who carved the metal part of old shovels. Another who made furniture out of wooden crates. Among my purchases were a wooden arch, some art and amazing cookies. The cookies were like shortbread combined with interesting flavors. I bought scallion and birch/maple/something. The black olive were delicious as well. Many people brought wagons or carts for their purchases. There were food trucks at the beginning. I made note of the November dates and would love to go again. My notes would be: 1) wear solid shoes since this is on farmland and it can be uneven 2) the walk from the car to the entrance could be dicey for those who aren't good walkers (my mother comes to mind) 3) happily, it seemed to be dog friendly and I saw some adorable animals 4) they offered porter service so if you purchase a large item, you get a ticket to then pick up closer than where you park 5) go around noon or later so I will get closer parking when I arrive earlier. :)

Gallery 56 in Clinton, MA accepted over 200 items of mine on consignment. The owners, Don and Nancy…read moreKoswieski, charged me over $1400. to pick up the items on whch they would collect 50% of the selling price of items sold but after a while they refused to complete the offering for sale of all the items after taking more than a year and half to offer for sale what items they did. They also damaged an antique clock of mine and were unwilling to reimburse me for its value and that became part of my original complaint to the Court.The Magistrate ordered that Don and Nancy Koswieski reinburse me for the value of the clock damaged while in their care. I took them to Small Claims Court also seeking "Specific Performance"--meaning that the Court compel the shop to finish offering my items for sale as had been originally agreed--but as it was a small claims action, the Magistrate did not rule on that specific issue. Instead, she ordered the items to be made available for me to pick up. I had not asked for their return nor for the associated pick-up charges in the original complaint, and because I had not done so, I could not later ask for the refund of the associated pick-up fees for those items. Despite my many, many requests, the shop inexpicably refused to provide me with a complete list of my items that had been accepted on consignment, that they had never offered for sale. The shop never refunded me approximately $300 in pick-up fees for the items never offered for sale. Nancy and Don Koswieski had filed a counter-claim seeking to charge me storage and other fees, but they did not prevail and the Magistrate denied their claim. No matter how many times I had asked the shop to simply complete the offering of my property for sale, they refused. I was obliged to take them to Court as a result. I would certainly not recommend consigning to Gallery 56 in Clinton Massachusetts
