If I listed even half of the categories you can find at KPD this review would be WAY too long but suffice to say, if you collect it or dream of it, you will probably find it at KPD. The toy section seems endless with many high quality, highly desirable collectibles. Unlike usual consignment shops, some areas are rented by local artists with amazing art. Honestly, we could have spent 1/2 a day there and not have begun to scratch the surface of the inventory. The setting is great-super high ceilings, old wood floors and creative displays. The owner was super friendly, available as needed. We can't wait to return, as my daughter said, "We need to come back all the time or we will miss something!" While there check out Brooklyn +Rye & Infusion Art Glass. After you work up an appetite you can get a delicious healthy meal or snack at Good Earth Holistic Kitchen or Wild Hare (by the Medusa Brewery people) which will operate as a specialty coffee cafe and lunch spot by day and a sophisticated, intimate dinner spot and brewery by night.

All of her items are of very good quality so you can bet it will last, especially if you take good care of them. It's a wonderland of what you will find next. I don't live in the area anymore, but when I am back, always make it a point to stop in and browse around. It's a very unique store. More packed here than any of those other places. I was (and still am) a bit confused... I guess the whole building is known as "Tilton & Cook Market Place" but each floor is a different owner.. or rather it's a business that rents out space to vintage/thrift stores. On the first floor I was told there were 5 different owners, but it's really hard to figure out whose stuff is whose and if you're entering another "store". Just remember where you got stuff. There is also a place to eat and relax on the first floor which is pretty cute, but I didn't look at the menu cause I wasn't hungry. People there were pretty nice. You really have to go digging around here (or in some areas). I was only able to get to the second floor... I think I was there for about 2hrs... there is just so much stuff! (I didn't even finish the second floor). From my understanding, each floor is its own "shop" (except for the first floor). But no one seems to have their own name... just "Tilton & Cook Market Place" or "Tilton & Cook Corp". Make sure to bring lots of cash... no one in the building can take credit/debit. And at last, the days and hours for these shops are all the same. I could be wrong on a few things here, but this is all what I gathered and understood. Im definitely gonna have to return.
