Love, love, love Gallery at 56! We came here before going to other stores for a dining room table and chairs. We got an authentic wooden mahogany table and chair set for an amazing price! The decor here is amazing and you'll find at least something unique and mostly high quality furniture at a pretty reasonable price. The staff working here are super nice and informative, and I come here to window shop, hang out and use some samples for my interior designing. Love this place!!! Also, if you are looking to buy - I'd recommend just getting it. I saw a gorgeous mirror that I should have just bought- now I'm kicking myself for not buying it- it's gone! If you buy any huge furniture, you just need to have your own way of getting it back home. I'd highly recommend for anyone who likes unique and high quality furniture at a pretty reasonable price.

Helpful and chatty staff that like to take antiques. Not too crowded, lots of space to move around (does not have the hoarder shop feel)

Lovely old brick building with all of the merchandise organized and displayed like a high end antique store.

I saw so many things I wanted to get! Unfortunately, some of them were way to big to wrangle home, but nonetheless it was fun looking around. The place had a mix of authentic antiques and new made to look old stuff in a few booths. A number of booths featured vintage clothing, and home decor, with the full rainbow of small collectibles and ephemera. Also, as an out-of-towner, the directions took me to the front of the store, with only street parking, but there was a parking lot behind the building, and other fun shops in the building. This was on a lower level. Definitely a spot worth wandering around if you like old things.

Very interesting and unique locally owner stores and super friendly people!! I was fascinated by the store " Seed to Stem" which is described as a lifestyle and plant boutique. They had a fascinating array of plants and plant related books/items as well as a full array of interesting home related items...decor items crystals/incense, books and the like. It was easy to spend on hour in the store just taking it all in. We also went to the Aristide in the basement and enjoyed looking at the wide range of items...books, clothing, jewelry, knick knacks of various ages, and general home decor items. A fascinating place that you should try!

Barton & Company. The reason why I picked this antique store in particular was because last time when I was on this street, I saw this store and the visual display caught my attention. As much as I wanted to go in and to explore, I couldn't, because I had a hot large pizza to-go with me at the time. I couldn't pick of a better excuse to come out to Hudson then to wander in and know I could find something. The store was not overly dusty as far as vintage shops goes, everything was a visible and you don't feel like you're going to knock anything over if you want to touch or hold an item. I found this beautiful driftwood with a blown glass bowl which they could probably put anything in it and use as a center piece. Totally happy with the find! Overall Service: The guy in here was very helpful and pointed out several different items that he thought would make a perfect gift. I'm still in the process of settling into my new home and now have just the store to go to for eccentric pieces when I start decorating it.
