Barton & Company. The reason why I picked this antique store in particular was because last time when I was on this street, I saw this store and the visual display caught my attention. As much as I wanted to go in and to explore, I couldn't, because I had a hot large pizza to-go with me at the time. I couldn't pick of a better excuse to come out to Hudson then to wander in and know I could find something. The store was not overly dusty as far as vintage shops goes, everything was a visible and you don't feel like you're going to knock anything over if you want to touch or hold an item. I found this beautiful driftwood with a blown glass bowl which they could probably put anything in it and use as a center piece. Totally happy with the find! Overall Service: The guy in here was very helpful and pointed out several different items that he thought would make a perfect gift. I'm still in the process of settling into my new home and now have just the store to go to for eccentric pieces when I start decorating it.

That said, I would wander through here forever and if I had the money, I'd certainly buy stuff. I say, stop in for sure if you're in town. It's worth the visit even if you don't buy. (Although I'm sure they'd like it if you did.) They also have a website where they sell a lot of their stuff. I took a bunch of pictures while I was there, which I will post soon.

This woman couldn't pick me out of a lineup. As a full time antiques dealer, I'm totally horrified to have another business owner attack me, a perfect stranger, in this immature way.
