Great place for morning coffee, breakfast sandwich and paper. Stop in for ice cream, eggs, bottled milk. It's all fresh and local.

Once you enter through the store, there is a sign to wait to be seated. The place has a nice and bright rustic vibe to it. I really liked the decor and table setup. Even the napkins had a rustic vibe. Started off with the potato scoop ($16) which was my fave item. The potato was shaped like the Fritos scoop chip, and the cheese dip that came with it had chunks of cheese in a melted cheese sauce. For my main, got the pulled pork sandwich ($16), which came in a pretzel knot bun and creamy slaw. It was solid meal and very filling. Other mains ordered were the roast beef "pho" style sandwich ($16) which I had a bite of and it was good and not what I expected thinking roast beef. Roast turkey ($16) was warm and also tasty. Each of the mains came with a side of potato salad. I will be back to try the sloppy Joe and their dinner meals. I highly recommend this place if you want tasty, high quality meal for a fair price. * Highly recommend making reservations on weekends * Street parking * Good service

I swear I see someone I know each time I go in there which is pretty cool! The servers feel like my cool aunt or cousin who just happens to bring me yummy food. Yesterday, hubby and I grabbed a quick lunch. I had a tuna wrap and he had an overflowing egg salad sandwich. Both served w/ potato salad, pickle and chips. You can upgrade to fries, but the chips are good! Big portions, so we had 2 meals! This morning we were driving by Lidia's on the way to cut a Christmas tree (btw, their decorations made it even more cozy) I picked up the Lidia's classic which is an English muffin with crispy Taylor ham, egg and cheese. SO GOOD! Hubby got the same but in a omelette w/ home fries and toast while my daughter got the short stack of banana and walnut pancakes.

Adjacent parking lot with enough spaces. Airy open dining area with maybe a dozen tables. I was greeted warmly by a friendly waitress who served me a really strong cup of hot coffee, perfect on this cold day. Ordered a cup of lobster bisque, which was served hot with a package of oyster crackers and another package of saltines. Also ordered that hot open face turkey sandwich. The waitress asked me if I wanted the soup first, or both together, a very thoughtful gesture (I dislike when two courses are served together). Bisque was delicious. Really good. I mean really good, flavorful and soothing and comforting. Then the entree was served, an immense plate with that sandwich and a big pile of mashed potatoes. Sadly, that sandwich wasn't nearly as good as the bisque: quite salty, it wasn't real turkey, but more of a deli turkey. The gravy was good, and I was served plenty of it, but that turkey was quite salty, spoiling the dish. And the vegetables were tasteless things; I had two pieces of carrots, and ignored the rest. Nice ambience, friendly staff, strong coffee and a delicious bisque saved the day. I was left satisfied, yet disappointed. Too bad.

Inside, the dining area is spacious, and tastefully furnished with a nice warm fireplace in the room. The bar area has plenty of seats and TVs for sports fans. Our server Angela B. was so very pleasant, and attentive. She informed us about weekday events held at The Barn (trivia, bingo, vinyl night) and what sounded like a great Brunch Sat/Sun. We will be returning to experience some of them. We started with "Barnachos" ($18) containing a generous portion of pork (carnitas) and the usual nacho components. No pump cheese here though! Yay My wife had a lovely Greek salad ($19) with feta, grilled chicken, olives, onions, etc. I had a Meat Lovers pizza: pepperoni, sausage, cheese, sauce, peppers, onions, olives, etc ($22). The pizza was served piping hot. The portions were all generous and the food was delicious. We were too full for dessert! The menu really has something for everyone but everything on it has a special twist to it. Check out the menu at: https://thebarnkitchenandbar.com/menu/#view-page. My husband and I split the Florentine Omelette with hashbrowns and the Ricotta Pancakes. The omelette was tasty, though the potatoes weren't quite my style.
