Stopped in for lunch with one of my kids. Been here for breakfast a few times, always good. I got the chicken salad with lettuce and tomato, it comes with chips. For some reason the menu said it came with lettuce and tomato, but they charged me $.25 for each piece. Sandwich went from $8.50 to $9. Still pretty reasonable for the area. Was pretty busy when we arrived, but we got seated fast. Staff was very friendly and checked on us to see how we were.

We fully support the high star rating for Lydia's Great diner in the middle of no where NJ. Justv a few minutes off the interstate but worth the detour. Large selection of lunch and breakfast items and a full bar. If you're ever passing by Netcong NJ you should stop in and have a bite.

Decided to celebrate my mother's 73rd birthday by treating her to breakfast as her first activity of the day. Lidia's is a Breakfast and Lunch only restaurant. This used to be the old Polo's location. The inside was kept intact and is clean and organized. The bar area looked nice with the small pastry case. I'm only going to give my opinion on the Breakfast to be fair since we had breakfast. The menu is a typical Breakfast menu. It is a very affordable menu. It's a very quiet place which is perfect for us because we are hearing impaired. The waitress is an all in one...she is the hostess, waitress, & bus girl. She was very nice and welcoming. The guy there wasn't too personable he even turfed me off to the waitress when I asked him a question. Food tasted well, there were some hiccups here and there but my husband and I work in the restaurant business so we fixed it ourselves lol. I didn't really take a picture of our food because it's regular typical breakfast plates. They are good portions I must say!!! So with all that said... Definitely recommend to pop on by to give it a try. Especially if you want a low key satisfying meal with a pleasant environment.

    Lydia's favorite!

I ordered eggs with corned beef hash well done.... When the hash finally came out it looked like the put it uncooked on the plate and brought it 10 minutes after the brought the rest of my food ... I sent it back told them to forget it. The waiter then told me it was because they ordered a new brand..... apparently this new brand can't be cooked properly and won't come out the same time as your food... Drinking my coffee, I get to the bottom of the cup and there is a hair that looked like a pube at the bottom of my cup.... I now show it to my waiter who tells me just leave and crumples up my check.... Customer service sucked and food was subpar... I am so grossed out and we won't be back.... This place has gone downhill fast..... (Reservations are not that easy to make last minute.) The restaurant is big and open but always busy. Kids get wax craft sticks to play with and bend into cool shapes, which I find very unique and cool. I feel like there is a difference between a diner and a true brunch place. A diner, of which there are numerous in New Jersey, is a establishment that churns out inexpensive, and potentially excellent, but very standard breakfast food - omelettes, pancakes, benedicts and the like. A true brunch place, on the other hand, offers things like lemon ricotta pancakes, cacio e pepe scrambles, mushroom thyme omelettes and shakshuka. Willow & Whisk is that kind of brunch place, and which is rare in New Jersey. The food options are varied, very tasty, and with good portion sizes. I love the shakshuka and the mushroom thyme omelette. Oh gosh, when is our next reservation again?

The highlight was definitely the Stuffed French Toast. It looked beautiful, and I expected it to be overly sweet, but it was surprisingly well balanced. The toast was soft with a slightly crispy exterior, and the cream cheese filling paired really well with the strawberry compote. We also ordered the BLT+. The smoked bacon was delicious, but the focaccia was a little too thin and hard, making it harder to eat than I expected. The house-made sausage was good, just not particularly memorable. As for the coffee, it was probably the most disappointing part of the meal. The latte wasn't very smooth, and the cold brew had a slight off taste. They were both drinkable, just not something I'd order again. Overall, I'd recommend this place for the food and the atmosphere, especially if you're interested in the French toast. There's also parking behind the restaurant, which makes visiting easy.

What really stood out to me was the presentation. The plating is decorative and gives upscale, fine dining vibes, which makes the whole brunch feel elevated rather than just casual. The atmosphere is one of my favorite parts. It has a cute café-style brunch vibe with an airy, light, and inviting decor. It feels relaxed but still aesthetically put together. The service was also excellent--our server was very attentive and made sure we were taken care of the entire time. I also liked that they offer mocktails and allow BYOB for alcohol, which gives you flexibility depending on your preference. Now, just to be real--this place is popular, so expect a wait. It can get crowded and a bit tight inside, especially during peak brunch hours. Parking is also something to plan for since there's limited space (the lot only fits about four cars), so you'll likely need to find street parking. Overall, I definitely recommend Blossom Brunch. The food, vibe, and service are all on point. Honestly, they're doing so well that I hope they expand soon--it's clearly a spot that's in demand and could benefit from more space.

The pancakes were definitely the highlight of the meal. We ordered the sampler sizes of the Tres Leches, Fruity Pebbles, and Banana Pudding pancakes. Out of the three, the Fruity Pebbles pancakes were by far the best, flavorful, fun, and wellbalanced. The Tres Leches pancakes, while good in concept, were overwhelmingly sweet. The Banana Pudding pancakes, however, were enjoyable and had a nice balance of flavor. For savory dishes, the Crab Cake Benedict was excellent and full of flavor. Unfortunately, the Chicken & Waffles Benedict did not meet expectations. The chicken lacked seasoning and crispiness, making the dish taste bland overall. I was not a fan of that particular entrée. On the other hand, the regular Chicken & Waffles dish was much better and came with three wings coated in a tasty hot honey sauce. The service and hospitality, however, left a lot to be desired. Although our waiter was kind , the timing of food was lacking. Also they did forget to give us utensils and we had to ask when one of the dishes arrived (because they didn't all arrive at the same time ) . Our table of four initially received only three drinks, leaving one person waiting an additional five minutes for theirs. The food was brought out one dish at a time rather than together, which disrupted the dining experience. The last dish to arrive, the Chicken & Waffles and Eggs Benedict ,came out so late that the rest of the table had already nearly finished eating. Overall, while some of the food items stood out positively, the lack of coordination and attentiveness in service negatively impacted the overall experience.
