Ordered a salami and provolone sandwich: there were a couple of very thin cheese slices and a few very thin slices of salami in a big roll of bread, maybe two slices of tomato, and too much dressing. Zuzanna's is an amazing, authentic place. Polish couple who owns it is incredibly friendly and warm. The food is off the chart great. Borscht, perogies, soups, stuffed cabbage, everything. A true mom and pop deli. Authentic Polish fare along with typical American deli offerings. This is a take-away deli with delicious food. Stopped in for a quick lunch and was allowed to eat at the one table they use to set up catering platters. Had the eggplant parmigiana sandwich, the tomato sauce so sweet and flavorful! So I've passed this place literally 100's of times and never stopped until lunch this past Friday. Brought home a few different things to share with my wife... Sandwiches...She made the better choice! The panko crusted chicken was delicious (from the one bite she offered)! I went with the roast beef sandwich with pickled onions which was ok, probably better if it wasn't so cold. Pierogi....6 delicious potato and cheese with onions on top. These were really very good. Dessert...Wow! Cappuccino brownie was amazing! I'd even call it decadent! This place is definitely not cheap. $32 for the above. The brownie alone was $4.95. I live just a few miles away and purchase their kielbasi and sourkraut for special occasions. Also their pierogi. My grandmother was from Poland and she left us with a taste for polish delicacies. I have tasted great kielbasi from polish butchers in Clifton and Passaic years ago. Also had terrible kielbasi - Hillshire farms for example. Theirs is the best I have ever had. And my wife, who is not a fan actually enjoys their kielbasi. They also make great deserts and special breads.. and lots of other stuff. They are not cheap but they are worth every penny. read more

On several occasions I have had the urgent desire for Polish food, in particular, pierogis. Naturally I would show up at Zuzanna's on Sunday or Monday when they are closed. Determinedly I finally visited on a Saturday afternoon.... Immediately, I was struck by the fact this is not a NY style deli with the rush and attitude. Instead, I received a warm welcome and browsed all of the décor and menus. There is a large variety of sandwiches and paninis available along with all kinds of Amazing pierogis, sausages, stuffed cabbage and kielbasa I went the route of 1/2 dozen pierogis and a chicken breast sandwich covered in panko breading. The chicken sandwich was very nicely prepared and demonstrated a very deft hand in the kitchen. I sampled the pierogis, which were a simple potato and cheese, and I was mesmerized, These were like elegant dumplings fit for an emperor. I experienced the flavors, textures and taste and can wholeheartedly state that nothing so seemingly simple would be expected to inspire such arousal and happiness. read more

We went for the first time last week to pickup some items for lunch and beyond. The quaint deli is very clean and nicely laid out. Take out is the only option since space is limited. We ordered eggplant parmigiana and chicken parmigiana subs. The sweet tomato sauce on each sub was rich and tasty and had a slightly pleasant spicy kick. We also bought a dozen pierogis stuffed with cheese, potato, caramelized onions and spices. And finally we ordered stuffed cabbage topped with a light tomato sauce. All of the food was very tasty and made from the finest ingredients. The business is run by a very pleasant married couple who clearly take pride in their store. read more

I love this place! Growing up in a Polish household the selection at zuzanna's reminds me of my childhood. The pierogi's and stuffed cabbage are top notch. Reminds me of my Granny's. I am shocked to find that no one else has reviewed this fantastic spot. The husband and wife team are super nice, always greet you with a smile. More importantly, Suzanna creates delicious dishes. You wouldn't necessarily guess that a polish chef could make awesome lasagna, but she can. Her turkey meatballs are also tasty. I'm not sure if the location gets overlooked, but their food should not. I highly recommend you check out this spot if you haven't yet. You can't find food like this in the area. Homeade Pierogis anyone? They make their own roast beef too! You can get lunch meat at a lot of other places in the area, but they all come delivered manufactured by some large company. This is a review for their pierogi only and our experience with ordering them. They make homemade pierogi but they are VERY expensive. Not worth the price. Also, I was told that you can't just walk in and order more than 2 dozen of fresh pierogi to go. I needed 3 dozen so the husband said that he can give 2 dozen fresh and offered 1 pack of frozen. What the heck??? It sounds like someone was running low on pierogi and was making excuses. Just be honest. Btw. In the past either my husband or I were able to walk in and order 3-4 dozen of fresh pierogi to go. Zuzanna is a nice lady and I don't think she would give us a hard time but her husband can be very moody. We were their regular customer but after this we have not been back since. We go to Pierogi House in Morristown or Rosaly Pierogi in Fairfield. read more

Zuzanas gourmet. More than just a great deli. I ordered polish food for ten,pierogies,potato pancakes and kielbasa. I've been to some well known places known for there polish food and Zuzanas hands down is the best polish food I've ever had. Zuzannas just doesn't do polish food either. I also ordered a veal Parmesan which was incredible. Zuzanna is the owner and is extremely nice and easy to work with. She is a true gourmet chef. Everyone at the party raved about the food. Panini...not sure if that the way you spell it It is awesome. I get mine done a bit special. Ham, Red Peppers and Fresh Mozzarella...She told me she make the Mozzarella in house. There is a sauce she adds to it that makes it the best i have had. Deffinitly pay this place a visit. You will be very happy! read more

I never thought I would get excited about a sandwich, but I have never had a Panini like Zuzanna makes. Everything is made from scratch, including the mozzarella. I will drive by 10 lunch places to eat here. I have never had anything here, from sandwich to chicken salad, that didn't blow me away. While not cheap, it's worth every penny. read more

We Just tried Zuzanna's for the first time today. It's hard to find homemade polish food that tastes as good as my Baba's cooking. Stopped in to grab a sandwich for the first time today. First and foremost, the owners are SUPER nice people. We spoke for several minutes, and they are just so genuine and outgoing. I love that more than anything. Picked up a fresh turkey meatball sub. The meatballs were tender and seasoned well, and had a really nice flavor. Sauce was sweet and slightly chunky, with a few nice size fresh garlic slices to boot! I was scared that having NO cheese on this would hinder the experience, but not the case. I went back to this place about a month ago. My tip from 2 years ago still stands: Amazing homemade pierogies and stuffed cabbage. Made the way it is meant to be. Also had great looking kielbasa and kraut but I can only eat so much. What a treat to find this little deli. I am out here for the nearby ice rink. This is 10000 times better than snack bar junk. I won't dread the long drive here anymore--and I will come hungry. Five stars if they can improve seating. read more

Went there for lunch today. I had the pierogis and kielbasa. The pierogis are made on site. Both were excellent. The owners are the nicest folks. And you get your money's worth, I was stuffed. In speaking to the owners, and telling them how much I enjoyed the pierogis, they told me they make seasonal pierogis, and I am bringing home a dozen blueberry and a dozen plum pierogis. If they are as good as the potato pierogis I had for lunch, I am in for a treat. A real find. read more

I have eaten here three times. It is a hidden gem in a nondescript strip mall. When you enter, it looks kind of like an unfinished butchers or deli. Not unpleasant, rather eclectic. The owners are very friendly. The food is outstanding. They serve the best perogies I have ever had (I've had a lot). Light pillows of thin dough filled with delicious potato and topped with delicately sauteed onion. I was blown away by how good they were. I have also had the stuffed cabbage. Perfectly seasoned ground beef mixed with rice, wrapped in a very fresh cabbage leaf, then topped with a unique light tomato sauce. Finally at a third visit I had the kielbasa sandwich. Amazing Polish sausage with sauerkraut in a very fresh baked roll. The only downside to this wonderful place is there are only a few seats to eat inside the store. I usually eat lunch there and take an extra order of their delicious perogies to go for the family at home. A rare gem, from the most delious homemade pierogies, borscht, quinoa, to irresistible poppy bread at season ( could eat the whoe thing, no butter needed....fresh sweet, or a tempting lemon bar, one MUST go her if near Morris County/ convent on rt 10 Randolph. Zuzzanna herself is a darling lady, pasty chef originally who turned her culinary talents to main food dishes as well....lucky us!
