I have to say that this place was a fantastic find. It's literally like a one stop shop for pizza, sandwiches/subs, empanadas plus a lot more. Everything that they offer really look fresh and delicious. They offer unique sandwiches but I opted for a cheeseburger. I can be so boring but it was delicious and their fries with brown gravy really hit the spot for me. Their empanadas are perfect if you are looking for a savory hot snack. Their italian sandwich was pretty impressive. If I had more time I would of definitely scanned their menu more thoroughly but we were in between appointments. Now that we know about this place we are definitely coming back. The service was very friendly and helpful. With so much to select from sometimes you need a little help From someone who help create or has eaten some of these unique subs because everything on the menu seem so interesting. I am actually looking forward to coming back here again.

I probably made a mistake ordering grill items. I saw the rave reviews but, in hindsight, most are about breakfast sandwiches and subs. The burger and cheesesteak are prepackaged meats. Both were bland but the cheesesteak looked too weird for me to eat more than a couple bites. I didn't intend on a bun-less burger but I ordered it with request for "no kaiser" so that may be the only buns available. Either way, nothing could make up for the frozen patty All in all, I may try it again but will stick to breakfast sandwich or a sub

A perfect heart attack sandwich .

Walked past The Farmer's Daughter (the 'Sister' Shop to CC), and entered the store. The door had the classic bell, and I was greeted almost immediately. Through the seating area, I got to the counter. Though I had seen multiple menus online, there were some staples on it, and some that rotate in and out depending on the season or availability. Ordered the "Prime Suspect," sliced prime rib, melted cheddar, caramelized onion jam, arugula, pickles, and horseradish aioli on a toasted roll. Also ordered the Lobster Bisque, something told me they were gonna do it right. Soup was piping hot, creamy, chunky, and had piles of lobster. Wow. The sandwich was an absolute unit, and flavorful to boot. Momma ain't raise no quitter so you know I took it down, but it had me in the first half, not gonna lie. Staff said they've been open for a year and change, and I was just sad it took me this long to find it and give it a rip. Great atmosphere, unique items, creative items, and a great experience. Spun the wheel and got a discount (you'll know if you go). Wow. Check it out! #MajorLeagueGrubbin #NomNomNom #TimeforaNAP

I went in for an Italian sub and had one made fresh at the deli with pepperoni on it. He handed me the sub with a price tag of $15.99. The subs in the grab and go are $8.99. (I planned on taking one of each) When I questioned it I was told the same length of bread was twice the size. The subs are the same size and wheight. (I held them side by side they were the sam) I asked for a manager or owner and was treated like it was an inconvenience. The owner was outside at the loading dock, I had to go outside to talk to him (he couldn't be bothered to come in to talk to me) who acted as I was below him and disturbing his conversation. When I questioned the subs was told they are twice the size as grab and go and price is non negotiable at which point he walked away and back to his conversation with the delivery guy. I watched the sub get made 3 slice provolone 4 slice ham 4 slice of salami and at my request maybe 4 slice pepperoni. Maybe 8oz of product total. NOT TWICE THE SIZE... STAY AWAY UNLESS YOU LIKE TO OVER PAY OR BE LOOKED AND TALKED DOWN TO AS IF YOU ARE NOBODY.... I have been in the culinary business and world my whole life I have a degree... This guy needs to get a tape measure and learn how to scale food properly. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS ESTABLISHMENT NOR WILL I EVER PURCHASE FROM THEM AGAIN. JUST RUDE AND DEMEANING..

It's a clean, open space with a decent amount of seating. The temperature is usually on the colder side, and I wouldn't say it is overly cozy. I've ordered here with some frequency over the last few years, usually when I am out running errands. I'd say the food quality is mediocre, and the prices have ballooned to levels I would say are prohibitive to the average consumer based on the amount of food you're getting. I ordered a grilled chicken wrap with mozzarella, balsamic, roasted red peppers, etc. the other day and was surprised that it was $17. For a smallish wrap, it's really too costly. The cafe throws in a bag of chips, but I've never asked for one. You can get a very similar (larger) sandwich at A&G Pizza in Branchville for $4 less. I'm not sure why the consumer would want to pay 30% more for less quality, outside of the fact that there are no other cafes or delis in the immediate area. The Hampton Diner, which is notorious for being expensive (but good quality) has a similar wrap called the California which is also somewhat expensive at $15, so I'd guess that's what Serendipity is basing its prices on. I realize all food prices are inflated right now, but Serendipity should be charging $12 max for its wraps, and based on the size, they're not far off what you're getting from Quick Check at half the price. At the cafeteria near my job, it's $8 for a wrap. I'll still check in from time to time at this cafe, but the prices are pushing me away.

Once you enter through the store, there is a sign to wait to be seated. The place has a nice and bright rustic vibe to it. I really liked the decor and table setup. Even the napkins had a rustic vibe. Started off with the potato scoop ($16) which was my fave item. The potato was shaped like the Fritos scoop chip, and the cheese dip that came with it had chunks of cheese in a melted cheese sauce. For my main, got the pulled pork sandwich ($16), which came in a pretzel knot bun and creamy slaw. It was solid meal and very filling. Other mains ordered were the roast beef "pho" style sandwich ($16) which I had a bite of and it was good and not what I expected thinking roast beef. Roast turkey ($16) was warm and also tasty. Each of the mains came with a side of potato salad. I will be back to try the sloppy Joe and their dinner meals. I highly recommend this place if you want tasty, high quality meal for a fair price. * Highly recommend making reservations on weekends * Street parking * Good service
