Didn't bother to follow up as it was a long time ago - now paid 12.69 for buffalo chicken sandwich with tomato, lettuce & mozz. Well, ciabatta rolll with fried chicken and a splash of buffalo sauce. Today @BigDudesBigFoods decided to celebrate our 5th Anniversary with @GnSDeli_Official on Rt. 206 in #NewtonNJ What better way to celebrate than supporting another small NJ business. Jonathan and his sister's, Joy & Christina really took care of us. They started us off with the #HeartAttack breakfast sandwich topped with the G&S special hash brown. Next, we had the #FatAlbert which is a #Cheesesteak laced with #ChickenFingers , #MozzarellaSticks and #FrenchFries . Finally, for dessert, we had the 16" version of G&S's signature Italian Sub. I have to say that this place was a fantastic find. It's literally like a one stop shop for pizza, sandwiches/subs, empanadas plus a lot more. Everything that they offer really look fresh and delicious. They offer unique sandwiches but I opted for a cheeseburger. I can be so boring but it was delicious and their fries with brown gravy really hit the spot for me. Their empanadas are perfect if you are looking for a savory hot snack. Their italian sandwich was pretty impressive. If I had more time I would of definitely scanned their menu more thoroughly but we were in between appointments. Now that we know about this place we are definitely coming back. The service was very friendly and helpful. With so much to select from sometimes you need a little help From someone who help create or has eaten some of these unique subs because everything on the menu seem so interesting. I probably made a mistake ordering grill items. I saw the rave reviews but, in hindsight, most are about breakfast sandwiches and subs. The burger and cheesesteak are prepackaged meats. Both were bland but the cheesesteak looked too weird for me to eat more than a couple bites. I didn't intend on a bun-less burger but I ordered it with request for "no kaiser" so that may be the only buns available. I ordered a stromboli, which normally includes ham, pepperoni, mozzarella in a pizza dough wrap. What I got was basically a calzone, a pizza crust wrapped around a gloppy mess of ricotta, and mozzarella, no meat at all. Apparently they don't know the difference. It's a shame that they don't know their own menu. When called out on it, they just danced around their mistake saying we didn't mention anything but a stromboli, which is only cheese. Last time I ordered a stromboli from them, it was a real stromboli, so I don't know what changed in their eyes. Having ordered from them previously, I'm very disappointed with tonight's visit. It's almost like ordering a plain pizza, and getting home to find it's Toast and Ketchup, and then have them tell me it's what I ordered, so too bad. read more

It is a nice place. I went by they have a variety of foods and services. One day I wanted to play the lottery and at the end of the day I was able to get them. A week I went by to play the lottery THERE WERE 5 EMPLOYEES THERE. I waited and waited. I didn't exist. Even when someone was doing an order NOT ONE person asked If I need help or said they will be with me. I decided to leave. I was disappointed because every customer needs to be acknowledged. Great deli. Owners and staff are so friendly, the food is great and extremely good pricing. Their $2.99 8 inch Italian subs are incredible in both value and taste, great breakfast sandwiches in the morning, good selection to choose from, you can tell their great because I've never gone there and the place be empty, there's always people there either drinking coffee and hanging out or ordering food. I was blown away by their cheesesteak (fresh amaroso roll, perfect size, great price, delicious flavor), and they became my go-to. Today, the owner (nice guy, not nosy, funny as hell) offered me a slice of their wood-fired pizza. HOLY WHOA. Best pizza in Sussex and Warren counties, hands down. They offer personal pies as well (only $6) and let you customize your toppings (if it's an ingredient for any of the dozens of sandwiches they make, they'll use it).
