Brisket hash

We had to wait 1 hr for Brokin yolk so we decided to head to Tommyfield instead. The ham benny was very good but the potatoes were overcooked. The brisket hadh was cold. The chicken and waffle was dry and small on a flimsy waffle. Stick with the bennys. Service was ok except when we had a issue with the brisket dish. I wld try other places for brunch

This pub in Seton in south East Calgary is home to the Cesar which comes with a burger on top. It is a $16 Cesar but it is a meal and it is amazing! I went here for family day with my family and I got a goat cheese omelet and we got a wedge salad! It was delicious and quiet and in the summer they have a big rooftop patio!

This is my neighborhood pub. The corn dogs are fantastic and Jamaican jerk wings are delicious. Most of the people here are fantastic too. I always feel welcome.

This was my first visit to the Tommyfield and I loved it. It has a great vibe, decor and atmosphere and one of the best patios I've seen in a while. Service was excellent and I can't stop thinking about my burger and fries...the British chips are amazing! I see they are family friendly so am looking forward to bringing my wife and son next visit.

My wife and I ate at Tommy Field tonight for wing night, wings were average but @ .29 cents a piece, expectations were met. However, we ordered fish and chips to go for our son. Very disappointed in the portion size, both the fish and the chips. This is not acceptable for $16. Too bad as the TF is a neighbourhood pub, not sure we will be back there.

Gone to pot. Skinny fries instead of real fries and you can't box up house specials to take leftoverd home.

Thought we would try this place again, glad we did. I had the short rib stroganoff and it was super tasty. We will definitely come back to try more amazing dishes,

Okay pub. Seating and atmosphere is great for comfort and chatting. Food was decent but not great. Good for a nice night out for drinks.

We ended up here because one of the local pizza places was closed on Mondays. The food was good but not great. It definitely had a bit of the corporate feel. I likened the entire experience to a restaurant like the Tap House in Denver. We started with the Korean Cauliflower. They describe it as crispy. I would describe it as over-sauced and soft. We also had the Trio Dip (goat cheese red pepper dip, eggplant dip, edamame hummus). This was a fantastic appetizer. I had the Landing Pepperoni pizza. It was fine. Served with a tasty sauce and fennel honey, it was decent but the salami lacked flavor. One of my party had the Landing Carbonara. The sauce was heavy and it has chicken in it. She was not happy with the chicken. Overall, I'd go there with a group for a corporate meal or a happy hour but with so many other great restaurants in Calgary, I'd rather go elsewhere.

Here's what we ordered: Mango boba - surprisingly tart and could've used a bit of sweetness Peanut chicken salad - flavorful and refreshing, with noodles at the bottom Fish tacos with sweet potato fries - the beer-battered fish was crispy and delicious While the food was solid and the patio atmosphere was great, the service really impacted our experience. When we were ready to pay, it was difficult to get our server's attention. My husband eventually had to approach her across the patio, and she processed our payment while standing right there. It seemed like they were short-staffed the day we visited, which might explain the delays, but the lack of attention was still frustrating. Overall, good food and a nice setting, but I'd give it 3.5 stars due to the service issues

Food here is just alright. Fish tacos weren't bad but the fish wasn't crispy at all. The quasedilla "tortilla" was a little thick. The meat in the BBQ rice bowl was pretty good, but the ratio of rice to everything else was too high. The salad was pretty good and quite a large serving. We had A LOT of trouble flagging down our waitress, especially near the end when we were ready to pay, which was quite frustrating and the main reason I'm docking stars. However, I will say the setup outside is really nice. There are hanging plants, pretty large tables, music that's not too loud, and overall a nice vibe. I think for a slow, casual evening out this place will have you covered.

We visited last night and started off on a high note with an excellent wine selection. The…read moresommelier, Bobby, was fantastic--knowledgeable and personable. The wine list isn't huge, but what they offer is curated and impressive. We ordered the Wedge Salad and Truffled Arancini. Both arrived about 15 minutes later. The salad was underdressed, and the Arancini, while hot, lacked the tomato sauce that would have elevated the dish. Minor issues, but we moved on. Unfortunately, the main course experience was disappointing. After waiting 45 minutes, our entrees finally arrived--at room temperature. At that point, we were too hungry to send them back and wait another 20 minutes. When we shared our concerns, the staff initially offered complimentary desserts, which felt inadequate given the circumstances. After further discussion, they comped both entrees and provided a $25 gift certificate, which was a fair gesture and appreciated. The GM and Bobby personally apologized and invited us to ask about "little surprises" in the wine cellar next time, which was a nice touch. Overall, great wine and recovery effort, but the kitchen timing and food temperature need serious improvement. Hoping for a better experience next time because the potential is there.

I followed the more than 48 hour rule to cancel the room without penalty and was told that its was during their blackout period and should have read the fine print. I'm really not even sure if that is legal. The hotel takes the full amount of the charge for the room at the time of booking, not at the time of check in and keeps the money regardless of when you cancel if it falls "in their black out period" that is not clearly identified when booking those dates. You better not have plans change or have a family emergency! RIP OFF. Buyer beware, do not book.

We'd all heard from friends that the site was an excellent place for beer and a meal and so were anxious to try it out. The tap house is in the refurbished garage on the base. One of the guys was familiar with it in its previous incarnation as a member of the Canadian forces. So we we had a chunk of the evening related to a his adventures there. There's also a "Buy Gear" booth and a beer store in case you want to buy a souvenir flat of their product. We got the the Barracks Brown Ale. The food was excellent - I had a really tasty and large bison burger with a green salad as a nod to healthy dining. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Based on the fact that the site offered a selection serving of the breweries wares delivered on a heavy wooden tray they also were physically imposing at least as far a forearm strength goes The tap house is also dog friendly. Like The Hague. The dogs were well behaved and quiet and the owners appreciated the attention given the critters by other patrons.

We didn't get to stay too long since we still had a lot of traveling to do, but we would definitely stop here again when we're in Calgary and we'd recommend it to anyone who's in the area.

The starts of the experience - the Hokkaido scallop and the chicken ass (only available on the omakaze experience and cannot be ordered in the regular dining room now). The dressing was creamy and heavy, and the kale were whole bunches and not chopped up for ease of eating. Cocktail was also very mid and I had no desire to order a second one.
