Lots of space to eat, I could see this place being turned into a dancing floor in the evening time

Live in Washington and always down on the river didn't know there was a little gem call The Tipsy Keg ! Walking into the establishment, you are greeted by friendly people that were there the place is clean and very friendly from pool tables to foosball. They also have an outside seating area, which is very nice and covered. The food is really good. It's served really hot and is fresh I ordered an all American burger with pineapple. You can add anything you like to your burger. Also had a Dr Pepper the other night they had an 80s night you have to look at the wash u app is going to be at the tipsy keg or go to their website! If you sit at the bar,and a cute Redhead severs you that's Amy

My husband and I LOVE day dates in Washington, MO. When we drove there today I was in charge of picking the restaurant. The Tipsy Keg was new, but already had some pretty good reviews. We obviously had to try it! I had the Florentine Artichoke flatbread and it was AMAZING. The chef added a complementary side of their vinaigrette to get a feel for the combo and I highly recommend it; perfect mix of savory and a little tart. Pairs very well. My husband had the Spicy Chicken Bacon and Ranch. The dressing was amazing. Only thing I would add is to make it more crispy. He ate the whole thing, so we would never complain. But crispy means crispy! Like the reviews before me, I would 100% try this place!! Someone let me know how the wings are!!!

The building itself is cool, has a foosball table, pool table, and shuffleboard. It has 2 bar areas. We went at lunch, the food was ok. Nothing great but also wasn't bad. Service was fine too. Just wish they had more on the menu.

Fried cod, pita bread, salad with raspberry vinaigrette

Overall experience phenomenal, great beer selection and an old bay mayo that hits the spot with your pickle spears. I ordered the fried cod with fries and the salad and the fish is fresh and flaky great flavor paired with steak fries and a salad . Our server over all is 10/10 phenomenal! NEW FAVORITE SPOT FOR ME AND THE FAM! They even have chalk to occupy the little one while you eat outside , new stained fun tables with games on top, very special ambiance outside with music and the missouri River breeze flowing through the patio.

    Service with a fantastic smile!

Service was fast and friendly. We had appetizers and dessert. Can't wait to go back for a full meal.

The bar itself is unpretentious and welcomes everyone. While I was dining at the bar, the rest of the diners were a widely diverse mixture. Witnessing such a vast mixture of people, adds a positive twist to the vibe of the bar. The menu is simple. They focus on what they do best and that's why their smash burger is one of the best. Being a firecracker myself, I ordered the Firecracker Smashburger. It's a single patty, with Pepper Jack Cheese, Tomato-Onion-Jalapeno Relish, Drizzled with a Tangy Fire Ranch and served on a Martin's Potato Roll. The burger was juicy and had those crispy edges that a smash burger is known for. My favorite cheese is Pepper Jack, so that was a big plus for me. The relish added that extra kick that made it a true, Firecracker. I can't enjoy a burger without fries and Jack offers long skinny fries. They had a crispy shell and a soft hot inside. They were simply seasoned with just the right amount of salt. I was impressed that the ketchup was 100% Natural. That gets a big thumbs up. When enjoying a burger and fries, a nice cold beer is always the adult beverage of choice. JN offers a small variety of craft beers on draft and three popular Anheuser-Busch products. I enjoyed a Gumballhead from 3 Floyds Brewing. An American Pale Wheat is a perfect lunchtime beer. The bartenders are personable and offer warm service. I'm definitely coming back the next time I crave a smashburger.

I recently stopped by after an appointment in STL. It was right at lunch time and it was also, opening day for the Cardinals. So when I entered, the line to order was already long. To my surprise, the one lady taking orders, moved that line quickly. So I give her major kudos. When it was turn to order, I was ready. I went with a Double and swapped out the American Cheese for Pepper Jack. For my side, I tried their Salt&Pepper Onion Rings. After ordering, I took my number stick and took a seat at the bar. Once seated, the bartender welcomed me and I ordered a draft beer. I barely had completed my Wordle and my burger basket was being slid in front of me. Before taking my first bite, I admired the crisp edges and actually ran my finger around them. My first bite was heaven. It proved to me that all a good smash burger needs is; ketchup, mustard, onion and pickles. The Onion Rings were made in house and the simple seasoning of Salt & Pepper made them a winner. While dining at the bar, I learned a new trick. If you're going to be sitting at the bar to enjoy your smash burger, you can order it from the bartender. That's right, no standing in line to order, you can go straight to the bar. Great staff. They all hustle and provide friendly and professional service.

There was a small wait for a party of three but the staff was super welcoming and courteous. The ambiance was cool - the outdoor area was super inviting. It was slightly too chilly to sit outside for dinner, though. Once we were seated our server was a little cold - but we never waited for anything and she kept our drinks full so it's hard to criticize too much - she just could've had better "table side manner". The food menu is relatively small - but good. The food my party had was well prepared. Good drink and beer menu and an adequate draft selection - although the first two beers I asked for were no longer in stock so I ended up going with a domestic. All in all a good experience. 4 out of 5. I'd love to go back when it is slightly warmer and sit outside. Casual ambiance. Family friendly.

None of the tables were cleared, we could hear them both complaining to one another and we heard several customers state they were unhappy with either their food or the service. One of the items (buttered penne) on the kids menus that we wanted to order for our son supposedly wasn't served that day, so right off the bat, I was a little disappointed. Their food all comes in those tin to go containers, which was a little odd. Everything seemed sort of dirty. I honestly didn't take any pics because I was just wanting to eat and go.
