    Denver omelette with hash browns.
    Susan D.

Decided to try this place, though it had mixed reviews. It was mid afternoon and I was in the mood for breakfast, and they serve breakfast anytime. We seated ourselves per the sign, and were promptly waited on. Our server was friendly and attentive, and food came out quickly. My omelette was good and plentiful. It would have been better with real cheese...it tasted like cheese wiz. My friend tried the Popeye omelette with spinach, bacon, and swiss and thought it was delicious. I did notice that they had a great kid's menu, so I'll probably take the grandkids there sometime. Overall, a good experience with good food, service, and prices. I would give 3 1/2 stars if I could, but will default to a 4.

Very disappointed, chicken tasted like it was prepared the day before, small portions, I cannot and will not recommend this place to anyone !!!

The last time I was in this place it was a Captain D's. Very different now! I had the french toast platter. Eggs were fresh! I could have used some hash browns or breakfast potatoes to go with it. They were a bit busy on a Friday morning and it took longer than expected to get our food. Felt like a lot of regulars there to get their coffee!

Dirty dining room. Your feet are in food on the floor at your table. Please sweep when you pick up the tip.

We came here for the river view and we saw a photo online that looked good. When we asked what it was at the restaurant we learned it was biscuits and gravy and that wasn't what we thought - oopsie lol. We stayed and had some wings and fried cauliflower. The cauliflower was very good! The wings were a bit odd. They were fried but looked yellow and didn't have a lot of sauce. We asked for an extra sauce and it came out frozen... Service was good.

The ravioli (a regional specialty) was crispy and came with a red sauce. I asked for my steak to be medium (and specifically said pink throughout). The "sautéed mushrooms" were from a can. There were almost no peppers. When I pointed out the overdone steak to the waitress, she said they get different cooks on the back and she said she would discount the bill (by $2) but did not offer to bring out a medium cooked steak. This was a while back. Hopefully the food quality has improved because the view is truly wonderful.

Surprisingly, a lot of places seemed to be closed on a Sunday, but this place was open. We walked in and had to seat ourselves. You could tell immediately that they were short staffed. There was one bartender and two waitresses. Both waitresses running around like crazy. None of the tables were cleared, we could hear them both complaining to one another and we heard several customers state they were unhappy with either their food or the service. One of the items (buttered penne) on the kids menus that we wanted to order for our son supposedly wasn't served that day, so right off the bat, I was a little disappointed. Their food all comes in those tin to go containers, which was a little odd. Everything seemed sort of dirty. I honestly didn't take any pics because I was just wanting to eat and go. The staff was nice - and by staff I mean the waitress - the bartender looked as inconvenienced as ever when we walked in - that was probably the only Positive - aside from getting to watch the trains go by.
