I am over the moon I found a clean and close to my home threading salon! I found this salon through Yelp reviews! I was unable to get into my regular salon located way north and I was not about to drive back up that way the next day (New Year's Eve) so I turned to Yelp. The salon has plenty of street metered parking (is there any other kind of city parking anymore). The salon is clean and fresh and you are greeted with a pleasant smile. When I came in they were burning this incense that smelled so good, not like the stinky ones of my high school days. There are 2 chairs that are already reclined back so there is no awkward neck spraining going on. I literally was in and out in 2 minutes. Quick, fast, semi painless and great results. Perfectly priced at $7.00 and you get a punch card so after your 7th visit, your 8th time is free! read more

I don't understand how this place has such a high rating. I've been here three times, and each time the experience was subpar with today taking the cake. The lady who did my brows (she didn't talk to me at all so I have no idea what her name is) just hacked into my brows. I find that good brow artists look at your face first to see what shape looks good and discuss if you're looking to change your shape or clean up. The act of savagery that just went down on my eyebrows ain't even right. She took off entirely too much hair even after I told her I only wanted a cleanup. Now, I have thick brows that I hadn't plucked/threaded in a month and this woman just went to town. She went HAM with that thread so much so that my skin is still irritated two hours later. Was there hair removed? Yes. Was it in the manner that I expected? No. And to top it off she had no customer service skills. Unfortunately I will not be returning. read more

Being from Los Angeles, threading salons respect your time, appointments and value you as a customer. Unfortunately I can't say the same for this place. I've been here 4 times and there has always been a problem, whether it was my eyebrows, leg waxing or arm waxing. Just because you're the only threading salon around doesn't mean you do mediocre work just because you can get away with it! read more

I've been here three times now. The first visit I basically got a full body wax by Shazia, she was GREAT. Friendly and gentle. My skin was so soft and smooth and I didn't get any in-grown hairs (which is normally a problem for me). The hair is just beginning to come back after 4 weeks. She couldn't do my face so I came back for a second visit - again an excellent job! The hair on my face grew back pretty quickly so hence my third visit which was a walk-in and an O.K. visit. The lady was to only wax my cheeks and chin, she left so much hair behind and around my chin a got a few in-grown hairs. She also charged me a full face price - which didn't make me very happy. I really am quite pleased with Shazia and i will book my future appointments with her. read more

I generally get red patches and bruise after getting eyebrows done but this time I am not even feeling anything no red patches no bruises and eyebrows are in perfect shape too She was just best. This is THE BEST salon I have ever been to for threading and waxing. I have been threaded by each of the ladies and they are all awesome! It does hurt a bit. However, they try to be as painless as possible. The salon is cute and very clean! The women are nice and they greet you with a smile. I also got my waxing done (on my legs, bikini area and under arms). It was done quickly and again as painlessly as possible. And for all that I get done there, the price could not be better. I've been coming to this spot for three years. All the ladies do a good job but Lubna is my favorite. She makes me feel valued and welcomes me like family every two weeks. The wait can be long so I recommend getting there as soon as they open. The wait wouldn't be as bad if there was a bigger waiting area and parking can be hit or miss. Went here for my first threading experience and it was AWESOME!! I walked in after work and they took me right away. The threading was quick and the woman who helped me was very kind as I had a lot of questions because I never have been threaded before. I love the shape of my eyebrows and will definitely be going back. I gave 4 stars because the place could be a little cleaner by sweeping up the floor for example. But overall, great experience. If you're like me, the idea of getting a bikini wax is...well...scary. Niki at the Threading Salon is absolutely fantastic, puts you at ease, and does a great job, quickly, for a great price. She has this great blue wax, it's a form of hot wax that doesn't require cloth, it's even LESS painful (though really she's so good that you barely feel anything as it is).
