Kari's Rating /10…read more TLDR: -New Address: 1532 W Fullerton -Gel Removal is an electronic drill so your nail plate gets hot -They had one artist working when I was there I've been coming here for a few years and I've always enjoyed my experiences. I've done waxing, threading, manicures and pedicures. The owners always been really nice and will call you back if they miss your call. I usually just come in for a gel polish change as I. personally, don't care for the manicure with the lotion in the massaging-so this is a perfect alternative for me as I just want the color changed and the nail shape cleaned up. I called ahead to figure out pricing and they said I have to include a gel removal which was $10 and I forgot they used an electric dremel which was a bit painful as my nails are relatively thin. I was wincing like 4-5 times as they took off the gel, so I kind of prefer taking it off at home. I then got the polish change which was another $15 plus tip. I thought I saw it online as $10 but I might have been mistaken. Solid job on the painting, but I think maybe the polish was added a little too far down so it looked a bit grown out already. I usually love this place, but today's was a little bit of a miss. I'll have to speak up next time to make sure the gel is a bit further down, but there was also a lady who had Ana ointment who was waiting an extra 10 mins for me to finish so I kinda get it.

I was super nervous to try lashes and she was so helpful answering all my questions and making sure we ended up with a set that fits my needs. I ended up doing a partial set for the first time last year and I've never looked back! I love waking up ready to go and feeling presentable. It's a game changer now that I'm going back into work some days, and when I'm home I'm never worried about the last minute "camera on" meetings. Also the amount of people that notice my brows over zoom is unreal lol. My favorite part has been when I go on girls trips or vacay and I spend such little time getting ready - it's crazy the difference brows and lash make for your whole vibe

I am obsessed with Lashes by Yanna! I found out about Yanna through a friend - I was so amazed by…read moremy friend's lashes because they looked so full and long but also so natural - I really thought they were her lashes. So I asked her how she got her lashes to look that beautiful and then she told me she had them done with Yanna! So I decided to book Yanna for my wedding day lashes and I was SO amazed! I absolutely LOVED how they look. They look so natural but also so beautiful and thick. Her studio is also so nice to be in - it's warm and inviting, very clean, smells really good, decorated so nicely, and she has great music playing in the background and you get to lay on a super cozy bed right by the window while she does your lashes. I had never had my lashes done before so I was pretty nervous, but she is super friendly and calming. Honestly, the first time I met her, it somehow felt like we had known each other for years. She was so fun and easy to chat with. She helped my nerves go away, and I didn't feel anything while she was putting the lashes on! It was so relaxing and peaceful. So the process is amazing and the final result is amazing. I got soooo many compliments on my lashes - even a professional makeup artist who also does lashes told me that she was very impressed with mine and she could tell that they were very well done. The lashes also last a while - about a month or maybe even more. I used to wear mascara everyday, but mascara is hard to wash off, gets in my eyes and irritates my eyes, gets clumpy and flaky, and I think was also giving me pimples - my skin seems to have cleared up ever since not using mascara anymore. Because of how beautiful and effortless Yanna's lashes are, I am thinking to start going regularly to get them done instead of wearing mascara. I initially just got them for my wedding, but I love them so much I may just stick with them :) One other thing I loved - she does a few test lashes during your consultation visit to make sure there's no allergic reaction. My skin is pretty sensitive so I was a little bit worried about having a reaction, but there were no issues at all! All in all, I had an excellent experience with Lashes by Yanna and I highly recommend her!
