It's not expensive, which is the best part of it. I have had two bad incidents where they thread too much from my eyebrows or my neck and chin get really bad reactions (itchy, red lines). In general the people there are friendly, professional and as I said earlier cheap. I recommend going at the same time every time to get the same person you want and let one, specific hand always handle you. Be very precise and clear in what you want and hopefully you'll get it or try a different lady or just try a different place. :) read more

Nikki, is the best at the threading Salon!! Ladies..... If you have very very very sensitive skin and can't handle pain like me then Nikki is the one to see. I get my eye brows and bikini waxes from her. She is considerate of my pain tolerance and a very sweet person! I highly recommend her. Been coming here for the past year now and been satisfied with my eyebrows each time I get them done. For $7, it's a great deal! They also give you a stamp card that they'll stamp after each visit and when you reach 8? stamps you'll receive one free eyebrow threading. I don't have a preferred person who threads my eyebrows, but I can say that all the girls are good, fast, and very gentle. I haven't considered going anyplace else. read more

I feel like the Threading Salon has been dropping off lately. The last two times I've had my eye brows done, they were way too thin. Also, the waiting process has just been unwieldy. They maintain a list but don't monitor it. So last Saturday I got there right at 11:00 when they open. There was already a long line forming and the salon was almost 20 min late opening. I only like this place for their threading services and they should really stick to this only. I've only done full leg wax and they're always in a hurry. They dont prep your leg, they go straight into it and it hurts, I've decided to go to other salons for wax services. I get red bumps, and very irritated skin after a leg wax here. Yes it's affordable, but not worth the aftermath. read more

I got married a few months ago and went for my first full Brazilian at The Threading Salon. I walked in quite nervous and the woman who was my waxer was AMAZING! I have never thought I could feel so comfortable while getting a wax in my lower region. :-) Sony is her name and she is so talented. She is sweet and keeps you relaxed with great conversation and is unbelievably professional and does an excellent job removing all hair. I would recommend her to anyone I know. I'm usually in and out in about 10-15 minutes. Nikki is excellent. She is the only person on this planet who touches my eyebrows. She has helped me achieve a great shape and I am very happy with how my eyebrows look every time! Threading doesn't hurt, but I have a very high pain tolerance. Sometimes my skin gets red/irritated afterwards, but a little aloe usually takes care of it in a couple hours. read more

I am a very picky person. I am basically every salon's worst nightmare. I loved this place. The decoration isn't that fancy, but the customer service and the work they do make up for it. I have gotten my eyebrows done twice. The last time was by Nikki and I loved her. She did a great job threading my eyebrows and was relatively painless. She put on hand sanitizer before I asked (this is rare for all the different threading places I've been). She was friendly and fast and remembered to put aloe on my skin. Eyebrows are sisters, not twins, but mine look great. Will definitely return to Nikki. read more

Not sure why I keep cheating on the ladies of The Threading Salon with these awful places on Madison and in Lakeview. All of the ladies in this salon are truly phenomenal at what they do and are hands down the best in the area; hell they are the best outside of the area! It's worth the trek to Taylor Street to be blessed by the eyebrow goddesses. Except the mean older one with the glasses that always has an attitude. She's not that great, but everyone else is very skilled and pleasant. Price is right, get there early to avoid the lines. read more
