New to Fairview, so I've only been able to go there twice so far, but it was a really enjoyable experience. The food was superb. It was quite busy, so the wait staff was running, but they were efficient enough considering. Parking leaves a little to be desired, and their hours have been strange during the pandemic, but I try to be understanding of that because its everywhere. It seems a bit bougie for lil' old Fairview, but I do hope it survives because it deserves a chance. It's as good or better than comparably priced Nashville restaurants. Originally went here for my daughter to fill out an application but she was too young to serve since they have wine and then I told my wife we should go try it out. Braeden was an amazing bartender. She was friendly, professional, knowledgable and eager to provide a hospitable experience. Her coffee martini was fantastic! Tbh, I was a bit weary driving up the gravel driveway onto a grassy hill to park. The building seemed ominous without decor or personality. The rustic interior was simple and country. But Wow! We had the pleasure of dining here for dinner last Saturday night. We had a larger group and the staff was very accommodating when I called ahead. We arrived and were seated within a few minutes. The staff was very friendly and attentive and the food was absolutely delicious. Definitely one of my new favorite restaurants in all of the places we have dined in Tennessee. A gourmet approach to southern cuisine as opposed to the typical meat and three that you see in the area. Exactly what we were looking for and craving. We will be back. Great ambiance. Word of mouth on this. Out of the way location but worth the 30 min. drive. You must have reservations at night. Easy parking, We had two appetizers-the shrimp dip we loved- the grape jelly meatballs we didn't. Our group got the Brac Mac, the Pork loin and a vegetable pasta. The only critique was the brac Mac was just okay. The fried chicken thighs were fatty and greasy. Would have been better with grilled chicken. Everyone else meal- superb! We did wish that they served bread. I think the desserts were the best part. The brownie was the best I've ever had. Also we had blueberry white chocolate bread pudding. To die for! We went early so music hadn't started but at 7 they seemed to be gearing up. Def one to try! read more

We were so excited about trying out this restaurant just to be thoroughly disappointed. We were told that a team of two servers were going to come help serve us and we ended up getting served by a young girl that definitely was new to the restaurant herself. She didn't know anything about the menu and any question we asked had to be checked with the server she should have been shadowing who was too busy getting other tables. It seems like part of the training process should be doing a taste sampler of the most popular foods so she can make recommendations to guests and also know the menu. I had the nachos and the dish was way too salty and I would not get it again. I was pretty sad bc I had real hopes that the restaurant would be really great. read more

Our first time in and impressed! The hostess was great as well as our server, Caitlyn. All of the staff were so friendly and helpful with a very indecisive guest (me). The menu must change frequently because it was different than we saw online. The presentation of everything was great and interesting flavor combinations. The sweet tea was to die for. Delicious new restaurant in Fairview! I've been three times now and haven't been disappointed. And who knew I liked grits until trying this place out?! I had the Kenji chicken and hubs got the meatloaf sandwich. Both are INCREDIBLE. I love how they mix tons of flavors together while still keeping it fresh. Mac n cheese is rich and creamy, and their take on cornbread has a smoky/bacon-y flavor. Both so good. Nicest people run this place too. This will be a regular spot for us! read more

My wife & I happen to drive by this restaurant in Fairview, we both made a comment that we should stop by & try it out the next time we are in this area because every time we drive by the parking lot is packed. My wife & I happen to be in the area one day, so we decided to park & try it. We ask the lady @ the front desk if she had a table for two & she told my wife & I it was reservations only. We decided we would come back for my Wife's birthday. The experience was phenomenal. We were both very impressed not only with the service but the food was outstanding. I raved about this restaurant to my daughter & her family & to others that would ask me about a restaurant I would recommend. I told my wife I was going to take my daughter there for her birthday so I made reservations for the two of us. The day of the week was on a Wednesday. I pick my daughter up around 5:00pm & told her I had reservations for six. We arrived a little early to have a drink before are table was ready but when we arrived the host sat us immediately. The restaurant was not very business. We sat down & waited a few minutes. The waitress arrived @ our table &she ask if we cared for something to drink. My daughter ask for a dirty martini & I ask her if she could suggest a whisky because the restaurant does not carry Jack Danials as I found out from my last visit with my wife & I. The waitress was unable to suggest any of the whiskies but told me to look on the menu. I ask if I could test a specific whisky. She brought it over to the table & I told her this was fine & I would like a whisky & coke, remember the first time we were here the service was excellent. I raved about it from the time we sat down to leaving. This was not that way a the second time around. The service was terrible & the food was terrible. The meal I ask the waitress what would she suggest between the pig which was only a sandwich like pulled pork for $16.00 or the pork chop for $34.00. I decided on the pork chop which came with a sweet corn cake. I ask the different between the two that they had on the menu & she really was unable to explain. The meal did not come with a vegetable & ask why all she could say was not of our entree's do not come with a side & that I would need to order another side of my choose for $5.00 more so I order rice & ask if I could try the other corn cake. The meal arrived @ our table that was brought over by another staff member. I was appalled with what I was served. I had one little pork chop & I do mean pork chop that was over cooked & my corn cake was burnt. I called the waitress over & told her I was very unhappy with my meal & she did nothing. My daughter meal looked like something out of a Bangkok low class restaurant. I was so unhappy, I decided to write this review. I don't know what happen between the first, but I will never be back again. I am glad I was the one that took my daughter there because if she would have suggested the restaurant to her family I would have been very embarrassed. I was unable to have a photo sorry. read more

What a wonderful surprise! We had a fabulous evening out on Saturday night. The staff was friendly and the food was first class. We had the kenji noodles with tofu, the guava jerk plate and the raspberry white chocolate bread pudding. Just tasty, beautifully plated, perfect portions and you cant beat the prices. I took off one star because the restaurant is very loud. Need to do something about the floor or walls to absorb the noise. We thankfully left before the live music BUT was totally worth it for this delicious meal. read more

My family and I went here for the first time tonight and everything was pretty bad. Stacy, the hostess/server for other tables was great! But our actual server only stopped by our table to take our drink order and bring our food. That was it. I had to get up from our table and go find her to get us all a second round of drinks (which we didn't get until after our food had come out) My dad's jerk chicken was ice cold when brought to our table. When we brought it to our server's attention, she took it to the back and microwaved it rather than bringing him a fresh, hot dish. My Mac n cheese dish was nothing but mush. It looked more like grits than elbow macaroni noodles and the chicken on top tasted a week old. My sister's tofu dish was awful as well. They comped our dishes, and the owner was a bit apologetic, but having been in the food service industry myself, the server did not step up to the plate whatsoever. Literally avoided us after we said our food wasn't good. I was incredibly disappointed and we will not be back. read more

Recently ate here for the first time. Overall we really enjoyed it & look forward to coming back and it being the go-to when we entertain guests. We had reservations for the Chef's Dinner in August. Just a few things were lacking which is why this isn't a 5 star review. We were one of the first reservations and I was assured there would indeed be live music at the earlier seatings upon making the reservation. Unfortunately live music began maybe 10 minutes before we left once more patrons arrived & were eating. All of the courses arrived promptly except for the dessert; we waited 15 minutes for that. They forgot the blistered corn with our cod, something we forgot all about until we saw the plates at our neighboring table. I'm merely stating our experience because the owners of this lovely restaurant likely want to know this information. We will be back. The food was very good, and we look forward to trying the regular menu which apparently changes frequently!
