We went for dinner on a Sunday. Waitress was not familiar with menu and ingredients. The food was delayed and not impressive. The burger was frozen and greasy, fries were over cooked. I came here the other night with my family and it was just so disgusting. From the start I knew it was going to be bad when the hostess was super unwelcoming and made us feel as if we were making her mad for coming in. We ordered the Mac and cheese and it had 0 flavor. We also ordered the tender lovin and it was just gross, super bland and fatty. That night I felt very sick from the chicken. Just overall not a good experience . The manager needs to get a new set of cooks to come in from the other locations and teach this location how to cook the food. Host seriously needs to learn from the servers on how to greet people and make them feel welcomed because the servers had great hospitality. Went on Friday night and the hostess was so friendly, she gave us the option of where to sit. We ordered the cauliflower with Thai chili sauce, brussel sprouts, Biggie Mac Nachos and Cheeseburger Mac & Cheese. The cauliflower was phenomenal!! The Brussel sprouts were tasty but needed a bit more balsamic glaze. The nachos were good, but they needed more meat and sauce as they were a little dry and the Mac & Cheese needed more seasoning as it tasted bland. Service was great though - very attentive staff. Not a place I will be returning. Plus side are the amount of TV's with games. Bartender was very personable and did a good job of explaining the beer menu and delivering our drinks. The beer menu was outdated and she had to keep telling us what was no longer available and what had been rotated in. The beer menu also had to be shared with other customers because there were not enough to go around. (The bar was not even crowded). We had planned to have food, however the menu was pretty run of the mill and nothing appealed to us. We all had a beer and left. I really hope the owner sees this. I was there with my granddaughter for lunch and we ordered one Coke and one chocolate milk to drink with our lunch . The waiter, who I must say was very nice, asked if she wanted a small or a large. She's an eight-year-old child so I ordered small thinking it would probably come with the kids meal. It was in a tiny plastic cup over ice .(yes , he put chocolate milk over ice.! ) Apparently the waiter doesn't have children of his own and didn't realize you do not serve chocolate milk with ice in it. But we moved on. When the waiter asked if we would like refills, we both said yes . Well you can just imagine the shock on my face when I got the bill and he charged five dollars for the milk ....times two !!!! that's right , $10 for two kid sized plastic cups of milk over ice ! Soda was $3.50 with free refills, but hers was five dollars EACH ! Anywhere you go a kids meal usually includes the drink, the food and possibly a dessert for about $8.99. Came here with my children. We got home and were violently ill. We were vomiting uncontrollably with severe stomachache pain. We were extremely lethargic. I had to call insta cart for medicine. My children missed several days of school and I missed work. We will not be returing. Tied the Thirsty Beaver twice, hoping it would get better. Quite the opposite. I went in about 4pm on a Wednesday with a friend. We ordered Mac Daddy Nachos and Brussels. Both appetizers came out cold, no bacon or seasoning on the Brussels. The Nachos were all dressing and lettuce. No ground beef hardly any cheese or pickle. When we brought it to the attention of our stoned red haired waitresses, she said sorry, then offered no solution. There are tons of young people just walking around doing absolutely nothing on the floor. Going from the hostess counter into and out of the kitchen and returning with nothing in their hands? It takes forever to get acknowledged after being seated, also took forever to get the cold food to the table. I had to hunt down the waitress ask for the check. No one picks up the uneaten plates of cold food off the table, then no one tries to make it right after the unhappiness is brought to their attention. There were very few people seated at tables. It wasn't a matter of being busy. It seemed like the westerly high school bus dropped a load of unfriendly, untrained, seniors off as an after school project to wait tables and walk around aimlessly. They didn't smile, or say hello after making eye contact with guests. It felt awkward at best. On the other hand the girls working At the bar seemed to be hustling. There was a manager on duty, but had no interest in checking with guests to see if they were happy with the service or the food. He too just walked around aimlessly. I won't be back, and I recommend you don't go. Try one of the many other outstanding restaurants in our area. You have to be good to stay afloat in Westerly. I don't think this place has what it takes, on any level. read more

Not great... very slow service. Lumberjack steak which was listed as a staff favorite was sub par with minimal meat and no onions (which was supposed to have according to menu). Was really excited that Westerly is getting new dining options but unfortunately this won't be one I'll be running back to. 2 stars only because the staff was friendly but I'm so sorry to report that the food was almost inedible. After what felt like an unusually long time for our food to arrive, the 4 cheeses Mac and cheese arrived dry with barely any sauce. The little sauce it did have was flavorless and on the bottom of bowl, with random strands of corned beef (accidentally I assume) mixed in. The Rueben sandwich was very dry. Pizza had the same dry texture and almost stale re-grilled dough. Only thing that was ok, was the salad, but I think this is more of a "cheat day food" type of place. Maybe we need to give them some time at this new location, everyone deserves a second chance! read more

We went to the location in Westerly on August 13,2024. we walked in and no hostess or staff except a bartender. another couple before us said they had been waiting for over 10 minutes to be acknowledged. Finally the hostess comes in and says to sit anywhere. 4 adults and a high chair needed. Waitress came over and clearly had an attitude. Took our drink order and meals. While the food was good the service was horrible! It wasn't that busy at all. Wautress attitude didn't improve either. I fighter she took a shot at the bar it would but didn't. After we received our food she came back once and that was all we saw of her. we finished meal and after waiting 20 minutes I approached bartender for our check and to go box. She got our waitress finally to bring check with her snotty attitude. I politely asked her for a manager and she rudely said they had no manager. I said someone has to be in charge and she said no. I walked over to bar and asked for someone in charge. I was deferred to a bartender. While I waited for her to approach me the waitress walked over to her and said I was mad so rudely and the bartender laughed. The bartender came over and another rude person who thought it was funny. I am an amazing tipper and typically 40% but after the poor service I tipped nothing to which I conveyed to bartender who was do snotty. Never have I ever done that. Will never go again read more

It was our last visit. Service was so slow. We ordered drinks and they were out of FIVE different beers - the Friday of a holiday weekend? Every beer we ordered the waitress came back and said they didn't have it. Shouldn't they be told what they don't have before her shift? The pasta Alfredo dish was disgusting.
