Great movers!!! I called to scheduled my move three weeks in advance and Judith was very pleasant to talk to on the phone. Their prices are very competitive $90 per hour which includes everything, pads, plastic wrap, two guys, truck and trailer no extra charge for stairs or long walks. They will even pack and unpack , move furniture in your house as many times as needed. Disassemble and reassemble furniture, they start their time when they arrive to you house and stops as soon as their done unloading. They didn't take breaks for lunch or smoking, they also prorate every 15 minutes vs other companies that prorate every 30 mins very convenient. On the day of move ken and brian arrived right on time, calling us thirty minutes before they arrived to my home. They where careful with all of our things quick and very efficient with loading our stuff in their trailer. They have lots of moving blankets, and they protected all my furniture with shrink wrap and blankets to prevent any damages. Neither of them complained about the work, in fact they seem to enjoy their job. Talking with each other all the time about how they where going to carry or load my items. They where able to move all of our furniture in one trip from our three bedroom apartment to our new house, furniture, boxes, everything they didn't leave anything behind. They moved so many heavy items to our second floor without any hesitation at our new house. i have to move twice in two weeks and if had not been for Texan Moving I would have lost my mind. As much as I would like to say its cheaper to call your friends , its not. The fact that the movers can do it so fast and professionally it makes it worth every dollar. For my first move I went from a one apartment building to another in less than a mile away. They where 15 minutes late but once they arrived to my apartment they where super fast so they more than made up for it. Not only that the lady at the office was super nice calling to notify me of they delay and reassuring me that I would be very pleased with their service. The second time I moved two weeks later it was within the same apartment complex, but different unit. ( another long story) they quoted me by the hour instead than by the item since their would not be truck involved or travel, it was totally worth it, since stuff didn't go into a trailer, they didn't have to disassemble as much or use as many blankets, so it way faster and cheaper to move within the building as expected, they where an hour early and called to ask if they could arrive earlier, I was still packing and ran out of boxes, luckily they brought some that they had from previous moves there was no charge for the boxes NEAT!!! Not to mention i called the day before and they where able to fit me in their schedule on such short notice. If you are moving i highly recommend Texan Moving, they where careful with all my stuff and considering how stressful moving is it is great to get professionals do it. I am one of those people who is very cautious and wary of unknown movers and was skeptical about Texan Moving because did not see them on BBB etc. My move was very large ( two 10X20 units from storage to new home) so I did lots of research on various companies and read their reviews etc. To add, I was not looking for cheap movers but at good quality movers because my household items are quite expensive. When I spoke to Texan Moving contact lady - I put my doubts straight to her about their company and some of the bad reviews they had. She patiently explained to me about the negative reviews and also gave me a realistic run down of reasons why they are better than most companies I was considering. After some more research, I decided to try them out. On the day of move I was pleasantly surprised to get a call from them much earlier than the schedule and I had to hold them to not show up so soon which they gladly did. During the move all 3 movers were extremely professional while loading my household goods. At times I had to slow them down because they were going too fast for my entire move of 8 hours - they barely ate a lunch because they were worried about the clock. All 3 were extremely courteous and accommodating of any demands we made. I just moved this past weekend, I was very nervous of the outcome of my move because this is the first time I hire movers, and because of all the horror stories I have heard about movers. I explained my concerns to the lady in the office and she explained that they are a licensed, insured company. She also told me that I would receive a actual contract not just a handwritten paper or email. She directed me to their website for me to view the equipment that would be used in my move. Once the movers arrived they gave me the contract, explained the start time, and the questions I had about the contract. They wrapped all my furniture with shrink wrap, they disassembled my furniture very carefully, and loaded all the items very cautiously. They loaded my 4 bedroom house in 4 hours, other moving companies had estimated they would take 7 hours (wow!!!) I imagined that they were going to take a break at some point but they didn't they just kept working, I imagine they carry their lunch and eat while driving to their new location. Once they arrived to my new house they assembled everything, and arraigned everything as I asked. In December of 2011 I furnished a residence at the Domain with $15K of furniture from the Loft Home. I was so impressed with the professionalism and care in which Texan Moving (independently contacted) handled and placed my furniture that I've hired them 5 times since. My business requires me to relocate every 6 to 9 months and since my initial experience I've never considered using any mover other than Texan Moving. One of the moves in particular that stands out was Austin-OKC-Austin. A short-term 5-month relocation to OKC made it necessary for me to hire Texan Moving to move my belongings to OKC. As the project came to a close rather then hire a local OKC mover I once again contacted Victor requesting that Texan Moving make an empty run to OKC and move me back to Austin. Texan Moving treats every piece of furniture they move as if they own it. My furniture is always wrapped with moving blankets and stretch-wrapped prior to being carefully loaded in the trailer. Victor the owner is equally as conscientious about communicating the move as he is about handling the furniture. Texan Moving is always on time, professional and meticulously cautious with each move. I have experienced about 10 moves during my years in Austin and Texas. What I have never experienced was the service Texan Moving provided. I accepted a job in Austin after retiring and needed a one bedroom apartment of furniture moved from Brenham, TX. to South 1st Street area. Not only did Oscar and Manny protect my belongings like no one had before they treated me and my wife with utmost courtesy and respect. Everything was shrink wrapped and in moving blankets. It took them 45 minutes - no that is not a typo - to load up in Brenham and then less that one hour and fifteen minutes to unload, setup, and clean up in Austin. Did I mention this was to a 3rd floor apartment? Not once did I hear a word of complaint about the stairs and not once did I feel they were not TOTALLY into customer service. Judith kept me informed at all times about their arrival time in Brenham and I was able to get everything I needed done before Oscar and Manny arrived back in Austin with my belongings. I know who will move me back to Brenham when the time comes and if Oscar and Manny are still around I will specifically request them. I can't wait to tell you about my experience with TEXAN MOVING. I was a little reluctant to book after reading other reviews. I made sure to call and confirm my reservation twice before the move and then Manny confirmed a 3rd time the day before. First of all, they usually don't start moving until 8:00am but I asked if they would be there by 7. Manny called when he was on his way. (Very helpful b/c I was still sleeping) I explained how I didn't have a lot of money and we absolutely had to be done within their 2-hour minimum, as well as stop by my storage to pick up more furniture. Victor and Manny helped me move. These guys were so freakin' fast I couldn't believe it! They were very serious and yet still made us laugh as they hurried in and out. Manny (little Hercules) picked up our 60 inch and put it on his shoulder like it was nothing! They worked very well together and were careful with my furniture. They were going so fast for my benefit and I really appreciated it. They moved me from a 2 story 3 bedroom to another 3 bedroom PLUS stopped by my storage to pick up more furniture within 1 1/2 hours! AMAZING! I had a very great experience with Texan Moving! From the start, I was very impressed with their professionalism. They came out to look at my place to give a quote, which was more than fair for packing and moving. I've never seen movers or anyone else, for that matter, work as fast and carefully as Victor and Justin! They carefully wrapped everything in shrink wrap and were very organized and experienced. I was impressed enough that I referred them to my roommate and we did a double move with Texan Movers. That's two garages and a two bedroom apartment in one truck! I highly recommend Texas Moving to anyone needing a dependable company to help them through the disruption of moving day. I had a 2 man team show up when promised, quickly moving me to my new location. There was no goofing off or dawdling ... they started grabbing boxes and got right to work. They were friendly, chatting as they worked, and very professional. All terms of business were clearly stated beforehand, start and stop times (they charge by the hour) were okay-ed by me before a fee was rendered. The fee was commensurate with the estimate given when their services were reserved a week earlier. Usually dealing with a moving company most times there is a bunch of issues either the price or something broken or scratched or just bottom line lazy movers ! well this time was not the case i hired texan moving and what a surprise the price and time was right on what they quoted me. Also they padded and Shriek wrapped all my furniture like they said they would the guys seemed like they have been working together for a long time since they were moving my items with such care knowing each others next move. Let me start by saying how satisfied I am with the service this company provided for us, from the day we called to book our move the person answering the phone was very polite and answered every concern/question. We were coming from Dallas a little over a month ago and new to Austin and Texan Moving made that transition very comfortable for us. The day of the move the guys showed up on the dot, they had all equipment necessary to protect and care for our furniture and rest of belongings. They seemed very experienced and professional. We move around quite a bit because of my husband's job but this time was by far the easiest move we have ever gone through! I found about texan moving while driving on my way home i saw one of their trucks on the road pretty neat , i decided to give them a call and try their services and am i glad i did !! these guys are awesome , i called them to load a big truck ABF trailer be cuz im moving to Seattle Washington when the guys arrived first thing they did was introduce themselves very polite then continued to do the walk trough , one of the guys did notice right away that i did not have any blankets moving pads to protect my furniture they suggested that I go get some padding ( blankets ) and shrink wrap to protect my furniture , it took them 2 hrs to pad shrink wrap and load my one bedroom apartment into the truck , I am very pleased with these guys.I will recommend their services to any friends and all my family in austin. If u are moving this is the company moving u wanna call this guys came out on easter sunday leaving everything behind to come help us move the guys got here 10 minutes earlier and our appointment was at 10 am so that is excellent in our book the guys helped us pack for about 2 hrs and then they got to moving unvelibable i have never seen any other movers like this guys before so i had to ask one of the guys how many years they have in the moving bussines the guy in charge told me he has 14 years doing it and the other guys about 10 years everything was moved from A to B with out any inconveniences no dents no scratches nothing broken or any markings on the walls specially at our new house these guys are good at packing and super fast and care full while moving will use texan moving again and will recommend to any one read more

We've moved four times in the past three years and Texan Moving did the best job and at the best price! They worked quickly and carefully, and they wrapped all our furniture and valuables before loading it in their truck. Our 2 bedroom/2 bathroom apartment was loaded into their truck in about an hour, driven to our new home (about 25 min away) and unloaded at our new location in just over an hour. Staff was very friendly and professional, and always respectful of our property. They called us 20 min before getting to our place, and got there when they said they would. We were looking at paying $70-$90 for renting a moving truck ourselves, plus $100/hr for movers to load and unload the truck. Texan Moving did it all for $90/hr and a $25 truck fee. I used Texan Moving on Saturday to move to a new apartment. They were awesome and super fast! My old apartment was on the 3rd floor and I have some pretty bulky furniture, but the guys handled it with ease. My bed frame was too large to fit through the door and needed to be disassembled and reassembled in my new aparment, which was done in far less time than it took the guys from Ikea to build when I first bought the furniture. In the end it took about 2.5 hours to get me moved into my new apartment, and this is with a stop at an extra location to drop off a washer and dryer (done at no additional charge) about 20 minutes out of the way. This company was amazing. I have never used movers before. From the first contact I felt comfortable. Judith was very informative and assured me everything would go according to plan. When moving day arrived I received a phone call from the movers letting me know they were in the apartment complex and ready to jump in. Victor and Brain were awesome. They were quick and careful the whole time. I was moving from two bedroom apartment upstairs in cedar park Texas to a duplex in Roth Austin plus a stop along the way. I hired Texan Moving this weekend, they where recommend by a coworker... He talked wonderful things about them. I called them and they where able to come out and give me a onsite quote, when they came out the where very professional, and answered all my questions plus gave me tips how pack more efficiently since I have a 4 bedroom house.
