Ron's response was to belittle me and tell me he left if exactly where he intended. He sure seems to think a lot of himself but apparently doesn't stand by his work or care about his reputation. Ron is AMAZING!! I contacted him through Yelp, and he responded in a very timely manner. I have an old piano that's never been tuned in the time that I've had it (2ish years). He got to me in the timeframe provided and was very friendly. My dog was walking around while he was working and became best friends with Ron. While working on the piano, he noticed that I had some stuck keys and rusted strings. He communicated with me potential ideas, and we both worked through solutions. He gave me really good advice on not having my mother ship my childhood 1977 Schaffer & Sons piano from California. He also advised against purchasing an unrestored 1904 H.C. Schomacker baby grand piano for $3000. He's very knowledgeable regarding appraisal values and suggested I look on craigslist or Facebook Marketplace. He said pianos are selling really cheap right now, like ten cents to the dollar. I'm guessing it's probably due to covid and piano teachers not having students over to their house. From a rats nest (literally) that had chewed away some hammers and caused some keys to stop working, he was able to identify the issue immediately and fit replacement hammers the same day. Bergeron may be the best piano tuner on the planet, but he is flaky and unreliable. I called him and set up an appointment, and he promised to text confirmation and details. When I hadn't received anything after a couple of hours, I called back. He insisted that he had sent it, then read back someone else's number that he had texted it to. He corrected it and sent me a confirmation. On the day of the appointment, he didn't show up. I called and he said that he canceled the appt because he had texted and emailed me the previous day, and I hadn't responded. Sure enough, he had sent the confirmation text to the wrong number again. And he admitted that he didn't have an email for me and only sent a text. When I expressed my concern, he told me to find another technician and hung up on me. read more

I've never owned a piano and our family recently acquired a 1961 Wurlitzer. I contacted Ron and let him know how uneducated I was regarding the aforementioned piano. A few years ago Ron tuned my "new" hand-me-down piano to as perfect pitch as it would let him.
