Located in an antiques shop on the town square, the Tea Room smacks nostalgia as you enjoy soups, salads, and sandwiches. The decor is unsurprisingly antique as you eat inside the antique store in an old building sitting next to the Opera House. The lunch crowd is also not surprisingly female. The casually-clad staff of two capably serves the packed house. I must agree with other yelpers the poblano soup is very good and should be ordered in addition to whatever else strikes your fancy. I ordered a half sandwich and bowl of soup combo. Pleased to learn the half sandwich is still served with chips and fresh fruit. Since the daily special sandwich is not available with the combo soup/sandwich deal, i opted for the homemade pimento cheese and ham. The pimento cheese loads the tastebuds with flavor and texture. Homemade or artesian bread (perhaps Ciabatta?)and better quality ham would be my only suggestion. Highly enjoyable and reasonably priced dining pleasure awaits you at the Tea Room.

This is worth it. Healthy yet tastes great. Janice is an awesome waitress that knows how to take care of her customers. My drink has never gone empty, can't say that about ANY other restaurant in Uvalde. Poblano soup is the best. Best place to eat in Uvalde for anything besides mexican food. Specials run out so get there early.

It is a tea room and antique store.

Great poblano soup. The BLT was also really good. Very attentive servers. Love the antiques for sale.

Ordered chicken tenders with gravy - it was cold, too scared to ask for replacement because didn't want them to spit in it. Also, had the fish and chips and fish didn't taste fresh. Instead we walked out leaving the majority of our food. When it came to pay - the small staffed restaurant had their employees eating in the kitchen visible through the doors and windows. Cashier - now seems friendly and willing to help because it's time for her tip, asks if we need to go boxes or to go drinks????? No, thank you! I didn't leave a tip, the only thing I'm leaving is a review with pictures of the mediocre food we could have gotten at a gas station and picture of a restaurant that we wish we would have gone to. This place gets 5 stars for CURB APPEAL!

We were greeted by the same friendly employee when I visited the prior week, and she gave us each a stamp punch card - after so many you get a freebie coffee. FYI they also serve smoothies, not posted yet, and they can make them dairy free! My friend and I shared a Rueben sandwich and chicken salad croissant. Great flavors, but for me the Rueben shined! Lots of flavor. $1 more. My decaf latte with oat milk ($2 extra) and sugar free Belgian cookie syrup was nice. The price for the oat milk was steep, I don't think I've ever paid that much extra. I may skip it next time and go for the caffeine free teas. I ordered a hippie bar and honey glazed pecans to go. I really enjoyed the hippie bar- peanut butter, gluten free oats, chia, seeds, and dried cranberries. Lots of seating inside. There's a conference room- free of charge for ministry meetings and a mic area up front. The owner stopped by our table and greeted us, I just love supporting this local fam owned business. Oh and when we visited the women's restroom... I was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful sky ceiling and bird sounds. So soothing and relaxing... I felt like I was transported to a gorgeous serene garden. Big smile on my face!

The moment you walk in the door you can feel positive vibes. Great decorations, all kinds of coffee, delicious food (both savory and sweet), all served with a smile... After no sleep the night before, and 6 hours on the road driving from the Rio Grande Valley, I needed exactly what the sign says: to "Relax, Renew & Revive". Turns out they delivered on all three! I was reminded of the Cheer's TV theme song, "where everybody knows your name," because as I sat there, most everyone who came in was greeted by their name and was known by the staff. People are people, not numbers at Revive. In fact, even the tables have names rather than numbers! Yep, each table has its own name reflected by the decorations which all blend together somehow in an ecclectic harmony of positivity and warmth. I loved the bicycle table (yes, made from an actual bicycle!), the Star Wars table, and also those with themes like faith and love (who doesn't need more of that this year!). It is obvious the owners have a sense of humor, and their signs of quips and quotes scattered throughout the shoppe are sure to bring a smile to your face. I especially identified with the sign that says, "All I need today is a little coffee, and a whole lot of Jesus!" (Don't we all?) It's definitely a family friendly atmosphere, and a great place to meet with friends or co-workers. I was impressed with the cleanliness, from the tables, kitchen to the bathroom. Great job. I was surprised by the menu and the offerings of fresh food! Why would anyone want to go to their big competition which only has prepackaged, frozen food warmed up in a microwave, when you can go to Revive Coffee Shop for real fresh delicious food, cooked right there... and at very reasonable prices??? I really enjoyed my cappuccino and some delicious chilaquiles (with chicken and egg) for lunch. The serving was so generous my only disappointment was I couldn't eat one of their famed desserts I had heard about... They have all the other specialty coffees, frappe's, espresso, mocha, you name it, as well as specialty teas... oh yeah, AND free WiFi! Revive Coffee Shop is definitely on my "return to" list. I really enjoyed my visit and know you will too. They are located on Hwy. 277 about 4/10ths of a mile east of Veteran's Blvd, on the south side of the highway. Look for the low building with the orange awning.

Seems to me it was a lighter roast with a fruity aromas. Oscar, the owner, said they bring their coffee from Veracruz, Mexico. My drink was not on the menu, but when I asked for iced coffee they had cold brew ready to go. Don't be afraid to ask if you have questions, the staff is super friendly and will help you out. Ps They have live music on Friday!
