The reviews about how slow this location is are accurate that is for certain. I wished I looked before we ordered but we had plenty of time to look up the reviews of this McDonald's while waiting for a simple order to be completed. The wait time is not even close to acceptable. It's been close to 20 minutes now and still no indication that our order will be ready anytime soon. We ended up asking for a refund. 1. Pay window was not manned. Had to drive up to Pickup One. Worker there tried to give me a sack of food. Told her I did not pay yet. She called worker who collected payment ( she had been up front) and handed her my debit card. That worker went back to pay window and ran payment. This is not a safe procedure for customers debit or credit cards as easy for the workers to commit fraud. 2. Once I paid, the worker at Pickup One gave me the sack of food and my drink. I drove my car around the customer who was waiting at Pickup 2. Got to my work only to find out I had been given the wrong meal ( Double CB and Spicy Chicken). I had ordered a Big Mac and cost was $9.19. Figure I got the customer at Pickup 2's meal. 3. The order I picked up was #1515. I called and reported mishap to one of the managers. I was informed workers were new and did not know everything to do yet. Obviously. If worker would have looked at my receipt to double-check she would know what she gave me was wrong. read more

This McDonalds needs some new management. Stopped there around 7:30 AM to get a couple of sausage biscuits to go. The drive through line was long so I went inside and waited. And waited, and waited and waited. Two people in front of me gave up and left. Of course, they have a bunch of people serving the drive through and one poor girl trying to keep up with everything at the counter. I finally went over to where they were fixing food and serving the drive through and reminded them that there were customers at the counter. You would think that in that situation, someone would acknowledge me and apologize, or say "we'll be right with you." It was like I was invisible! Nobody said anything, even the manager-looking person. It seemed like there were plenty of workers there, so here's a clue, McDonalds - put TWO people on the counter during the morning rush! read more

It's a McDonalds, what more can you say? Well, I have a complicated relationship with this McDonalds in Uvalde. The Internet at my motel is soooo bad--like dial up speeds bad--that I've had to do some work at this McDonalds because of their decent wifi. Seriously. It's like the best wifi in town as far as I know. The workers are friendly. Although they have "no loitering" signs posted everywhere, I've yet to be kicked out. I normally just get something like an ice cream with a drink and use their internet. There are no plugs for your computer because this isn't an Internet cafe but it works for my needs. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. It was absolutely ridiculous of how terrible their crew is. I probably waited about 30-45 mins for my food. I had placed an order for a happy meal along with 2 other meals. I asked for all the fries to be FRESH. Clearly, they don't understand the meaning. I understand that they just renovated & may be short staffed but how do you expect people to give a good review if their quality & commitment is absolute trash? I NEVER received my child's happy meal. I NEVER received my fries hot. One of the cheeseburgers had TWO bottom buns instead of a top & bottom. I wanted to complain to the general manager because everyone needs to be retrained. The managers definitely need a lecture on how to run a business because it's not being done properly. read more

This place was just renovated and it's sucks! Service is terrible the cashiers don't know how to key in the correct order, the staff argues with you when they are wrong and you have to tell them twice or even three times for something simple like napkins and sauce. This is the worst McDonald's I have ever been to. VERY dirty, the trashcans were completely full, no ketchup in the dispenser, no sweet tea, most of the lids were out of stock. The cashier kept messing up everyone's order (including mine)she stood there looking around not knowing what to do instead of asking for the help of other coworkers, she messed up 6 orders while I was there eating until she got sent to the back. I'm a truck driver and stopped here to get me something to eat! According to my phone it was exactly 10:45 pm and doors were already locked! So then I proceeded to bang on window to get a hold of someone inside, a lady finally came to the door and told me they were closed but the drive tru was open, I said I would but I have an 18 wheeler and I can't, can I just order something really quick? She said no we are closed, I said how is that if your door clearly says 11:00 pm dining? She says we locked the door because we are short handed! I said ma'am that's not my problem! Can I speak to your manager! Manager came to door and basically told me the same thing, that they were closed Because they were short handed, he than with attitude said I guess I can get you what you need, I said no never mind but what you can give me is the number where I can call and complain!
