Very good food! I ordered a chicken sandwich and it was HUGE! And delicious and fresh! Very good place to eat. The staff was friendly and the have monster energy drinks! Which was a huge plus because i really enjoy energy drinks with my meal.

Good food, decent service. The beef fajita meat on the Super Portuguese had wonderful flavor. The brisket had good smokey flavor. The bbq sauce was nothing special but the meat was good.

    Enchiladas.Rice & Beans !

My Favorite Mexican Restaurant in Uvalde, I've tried the other & there's no Comparison. I've been 3 times in the last year when I'm driving thru town, they have an Awesome Buffet under $10. There is plenty of meat items, I had Fajitas & Chicken Squash & Picadillo the Beef Enchiladas are Excellent. By far the Best Mexican Buffet in Texas !!

Ordered the chicken caldo for 6.99. Was delicious, and was derived pretty quickly.

Their barbacoa by the pound is amazing! Not too fatty but not too lean. The fresh corn tortillas miiiiiiight be better than La Reina!

Good food but the family enchilada dinner now cost $60, during covid it was $30. Cheese beans and rice haven't gone up that much Julio.

Had the pepper steak from the menu with queso on top. It was outstanding. Great place to stop and eat in Uvalde.

Their onion rings are the best--thick, crunchy and tasty. Great accompaniment to the chopped barbecue sandwich.

Los Alamos is the best TexMex restaurant in Uvalde hands down. If you're in the area and you're…read morehungry, stop in...but make sure they're open because they have odd hours and seem to close at 3pm on weekday. Confirmed with some dude that works there: their hours are Mon-Sat 6am-3pm. I stayed in Uvalde for business for 2 weeks. We made it a point to stop in for lunch at Los Alamos whenever possible because the food is just hat good. The enchilada plate is prolly the best enchiladas I've had outside of San Antonio. They're legit. I also tried their burger---it's a burger--nothing to write home about but good nevertheless. The waitstaff if mostly friendly but if you come in at like 2:45 when they're about to close, they'll be slightly less accommodating (understandably). For example, our waitress was trying to get us out the other day and didn't serve us our customary chips and salsa. Nothing major...just the little things. Anyway, there's a couple of other TexMex restaurants in the town that are decent, but I'm over the opinion that Los Alamos is the best of the group along the highway 90 corridor that cuts through the city. Oh, and it's cheap--though not cheap tasting--as it should be.
