We were looking for a place to have a couple of drinks an appetizer to eat.we looked at a couple of options and we decided on this one.so we entered the restaurant and waited to be seated.It took about ten minutes and we were taken to a booth.She took our drink order as we looked at the menu.As we looked for a appetizer there wasn't that much to choose from.So we ordered the super nachos.She brought our drinks out which were margaritas.They were pretty good overall.Then about ten minutes later our nachos came out and they were huge.They had beef,lettuce,tomatoes beans, guacamole and jalapeños on them.It filled both of us up.Our waitresses was pretty attentive for the most part until the end.There was a couple of things we needed including the check.We finally got her attention.Overall the drinks and the nachos were pretty good.Im not sure about the rest of the food?But hey if you're in the area give it a shot. read more

Hello , to whom it may concern, I have seen this lowdown way to make money off customers before. When paying my bill the receipt does not mention any added fees ,if using a credit card and the cashier did not mention a fee would be added for using a credit card, if i was told i would've paid cash. With all the Tax Breaks business get to use, this fee is uncalled for. P.S. are server jacky was never around to check on us ,when i needed water and i had to ask another server for my bill. The menu is rather extensive and includes a wide range of the typical TexMex items that you would expect and a few nods to the food from Jalisco. Service was good. I had the Jalisco plate. It was good and the quantity was huge. The quantity of food and value for money is good. I guess my biggest complaint is that everything was average. The standard Spanish rice and refritos were fine. The beef was marinated and OK, but pretty much what you will find in any other TexMex restaurant. We love the Jalisco. We go often as we live in Uvalde. I feel like it's more traditional Mexican food. They do not have queso which to me is TexMex. The Shrimp Quesadillas Diablo are my favorite and it sounds weird but I LOVE their refried beans. Highly recommend the Jalisco. read more

Lots of proactive apologizing throughout dinner by our server, but really not good timing by the kitchen. So why a 4 stars? Took them 20 minutes to get us drinks then another hour to get half of our orders (there were 6 of us). Two other plates came out after I informed them we were still waiting. I wasn't going to call their attention any longer, because I don't work there, they do, so I didn't ask for my missing meal. Everyone was close to finishing and I finally got my food. It SUCKED!! Trompo was undercooked and the presentation was that of "oh shit we forgot her plate!" They have all the standard mexican beers, so we ordered Modelo Negra, quite tasty and smooth. We ordered a taco salad, mexican plate, milanesa, and crunchy tacos.
