This is a very cute place in old town Spring, TX. I took my 7 year old granddaughter for tea. It was $25 for her and $35 for me for a couple finger sandwiches, tea and small desserts and scones. The scones were choc full of raisins which are a no for both my granddaughter and I. They gave us some blueberry and white chocolate ones that were so sickeningly sweet. We couldn't eat either option. Next time, we'll just order off the menu. Out server was very nice and accommodating, but I think they should give you a heads up on what type of scones they have. Even the macaroons were sooooo sweet!

Ok, let's begin. The ambiance is tea room style. It is a great place to have tea and tea parties. Reservations are required to ensure you have seating. Note: reservation slots fill up fast and you can only reserve up to 30 days in advance. You can book a private room and there are two rooms to choose from depending on size of party. Food - 4 stars The menu is simple but the taste is delightful. We had the chicken and grilled chicken sandwich. Tip: If you want a bigger portion , opt for the grilled chicken sandwich. The tomato soup was thick, creamy, and delicious. The scones were biscuit size infused with lavender or lemon. They had a sweet taste that wasn't overpowering. Customer service - 4 stars Our waitress was nice and attentive. She constantly checked on us and was great. Price - 3-4 dollar signs Here is where $100 went 1- grilled sandwich plate 1- grilled cheese & tomato soup 1- large kettle of hot tea 2- order of scones 1- order of the delicious bread & olive oil Cleanliness- 3 stars Restroom - 3 stars There are two restrooms available. One is large and the other is small (perfect for a thin person or children ). Unfortunately, the larger restroom was not working so there was a challenge for some of the guests to access the smaller one. Overall it was clean.

We had our friends in from out of town and decided to reserve a table for the valentines tea at The Tea Kettle Cafe. Amazing! Everything was delicious and the service was amazing. It was as authentic a high tea can be without being in England. We had our choice of 4 teas our choices were Gossimer, butterbeer, twinkle and black cherry.. after a bit of our two towers of small bites including egg salad, spinach croquettes, veggie sushi, tomato and goat cheese and so much more. The top tier had chocolate dipped strawberries, cannolis, cherry cookies.. all to die for. Service outstanding Would do this again and would recommend for anyone wanting an awesome experience at this whimsical little place.

I just had my 65th birthday party there. It was very nice. They offered a package and also the cranberry mimosas were very good. They offered an array of sandwiches as well as desserts and scones

Came here on a recent afternoon for a tea service/lunch. A table had been reserved for our party of 4 (3 adults and one child), and the staff was waiting for us when we arrived. Lovely little cafe with uniquely-painted walls and an eclectic collection of china and tea cups at your table. Service was good, but at times the one server did look as if she was taking care of everyone that had stopped by in addition to us. Quite a few of the tables were occupied, and she appeared to be running back and forth between them . . . Teas were delicious. I had an iced ginger peach tea (not really a hot tea drinker) and I was very pleased with it. No sugar needed on this iced tea since the flavor stands out by itself and, in my opinion, would be marred by any additions. Finger sandwiches, scones and mini desserts were beautifully arranged. I seemed to be drawn to the finger sandwiches, and each one I had was very good - yes, there was quite a variety, too. Others in my party jumped at the scones (not a fan); I could tell they were thoroughly enjoyed since all of them disappeared in no time! Mini desserts were nice, too: small cheesecakes, mini cream puffs and a sweet bread. The cream puffs (the only dessert I tried) were nicely done. A charming afternoon tea and lunch that all of us enjoyed.

Gabby our server was sweet and attentive. We were behind time and came in an hour before close but felt glad to get a quick meal. It was quickly taken care of and we got to enjoy it without feeling rushed. The hazy chai was so yummy. I will come back so I can try some delicious desserts.

Not sure if it was the owner herself or just a manager but she was very rude to both servers and customers. Thankfully I could tip the server cash instead of on the ipad with her , just hope they don't split tip at the end of it since all she did was sit behind the counter and talk loudly over it to customers or to the waitresses Apart from that , the tea options are insane , anything you can think of was offered ! The food itself did not look good , both online and for nearby customers. The scone was stale and hard to break with the spoon given Loved the atmosphere and decor , will probably be back with my mother in law !

Great little spot to celebrate a special occasion. The tea is amazing, and the cutest little place to go for a tea party. The kids set up was SO awesome with the "fairy tea" and Nutella sandwiches. The only disappointment were the adult sandwiches as they were not impressive as far as what is offered. Everything else was tasty and we had a great time celebrating my moms 60th birthday. I would definitely recommend this place for the fun girly experience.

This location is fairly new and this time I dined inside. The staff is super friendly. This place is so clean! I was the only one there at the time! Then just as I was about to leave several families came in. Many cars went through the Drive-Thru though so they stay busy. I ordered the Manager's Special, which is 1/2 a sandwich plus a small cup of soup & a side. I got Cali Club, Chicken pot pie soup and my side was fruit with a yogurt dip (yummy!). He was friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and even helped us select an entrée for Mom. We both ordered the Chicken Panini, hers with broccoli soup and mine with chicken pot pie soup. Our meals were delivered promptly by a sweet, cordial young lady. Mom was excited to see her entrée, but after a few bites, she found her broccoli soup too salty. I tasted it as well and suspected the cheddar cheese base was the reason. I went to the counter to request a bowl of hot water to dilute the soup, which helped a little. The gentleman who took our order noticed and immediately asked if everything was okay. When I mentioned the high sodium content for Mom, he kindly offered to bring another cup prepared with more milk or to swap it for a different soup. Mom opted for the potato soup, and he graciously brought it out. The Chicken Panini was excellent -- warm, well-made, and flavorful. The side of plain house chips was decent, though a bit salty for our taste -- especially when paired with the soup. A baked chip option might be a nice, lighter alternative for some guests. The restaurant itself was clean, and I appreciated seeing staff promptly clearing and wiping down tables as guests left. It added to the welcoming and well-kept atmosphere. We ended our meal with a smooth, delicious ice cream cone -- the perfect sweet finish. While a few items were on the salty side for us, the outstanding service, clean environment, and overall meal quality made the visit worthwhile. We'll definitely be back!

I went to Jersey Mike's today for the first time…read more For the flavor I was looking for, I was able to achieve it. Their original Italian totally fit the bill! But here's my experience: I walked in. There is a gentleman with blonde hair and a cap on who welcomed me. I tell him that this is my first time ever coming to this establishment. He doesn't rush me. He allowed me to pick what I wanted. Now the next young lady who started making the sandwich was veryyyyy new. She was nervous so we'll bypass her little mistake. There's another lady by the name of Bernice who was absolutely amazing. Her attitude was upbeat. She helped me to understand the process as well. Now it's time for me to check out. There is an older lady that's tall who gave NO allowance to the fact that I was a NEW customer. She asked if my meal was to go or not, but she gave me the impression that she may have jumped the gun by wrapping the sandwich before asking the question. So I say, "whichever is easiest for you". It's obvious that there are new employees there so I tried to work with everybody. She lowers her voice and speaks to me in a stern manner. I expressed again I was new to the restaurant and did not know the process. I asked,. "Are you going to put it on a plate and give it to me if I eat here or do you wrap it up and bag it regardless I don't know your process." She explained the process. So I told her just to put it on the bag and that I would work it out . I said thank you. I asked for my cup that she forgot to give me. She says oh yeah, she passed me the cup. At this point, I wasn't gonna ask her for the lid. Then I just said," no worries. We are all new here". At THAT POINT, I knew I would never come back because of her aggressiveness. So as I'm eating my sandwich, here comes Bernice with a smile on her face who asked, " how do you like your sandwich and is everything OK for you?" THIS CHANGED EVERYTHING!!!! When she thought I was done, she came back to the table and said can I help you with anything? How was your meal? Mannnnnn, she won me over!!!! I managed a call center in banking for 7 years and stayed in management until, I retired. When I tell you Bernice totally changed my mind about everything! I will be back. The food was good!!. The lady at the register made it bad. But Bernice and the young man with the blonde hair at the bread station made my day!!!!

I've always liked Jersey Mike's. This will be the last time I use them for food for my team.

A quick Google search brought this place up first with 4.9 stars, which is practically unheard of these days, so we decided to try it. Wow. What a meal. We started with the onion ring basket and a half order of beer bread. The onion rings were fantastic--huge, thick-cut rings with a wonderfully seasoned batter that actually had flavor instead of tasting flat or bland. Served piping hot, which matters to me because I like my food HOT. The ranch dressing was a great addition, too. The beer bread was decent. You could definitely taste the beer, but it wasn't the best loaf I've ever had. Mom, Mark, and I all ordered the grilled ribeye steak sandwich. I'm the only one who got it as designed on the menu. I originally expected more of a slab-of-steak sandwich, but it was actually closer to a Philly cheesesteak style sandwich, which honestly I prefer. Mom and Mark skipped the peppers, onions, garlic aioli, and pepper jack cheese in favor of lettuce, tomato, and mayo instead. Our waiter, Evan, was wonderful! He was friendly, attentive, accommodating, and clearly proud of the restaurant. He even offered to tell us the history of the building and restaurant, which added so much to the experience. The story is also printed on the back of the menu, and it's definitely worth reading. Evan mentioned he's only been there a few months, but he is absolutely an asset to the restaurant as a server. My brother Mark is blind and autistic, and it's honestly not often a server addresses him directly. They usually look to mom or me and ask, "What does he want?," but Evan asked Mark directly. Kudos to him. We had to finish the meal with the historical whiskey chocolate cake, and I'm glad we did. It's served warm with whipped cream on the side, caramel sauce drizzled across the plate, and pecans on top. Absolutely delicious and huge! There were four of us who shared it, and it was more than enough for each of us. Also worth mentioning: the sweet potato fries are an extra $4 but absolutely worth it. These are NOT frozen Ore-Ida fries dumped from a bag. They're clearly fresh cut and homemade, and they were delicious. For nearly two o'clock in the afternoon, the place was packed--at least three-quarters full--and the entire atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Everyone we encountered was friendly. I live in Katy, so Old Town Spring is definitely not nearby for me, but I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone in the area or just passing through. It's easy to see why people love it. A definite five-star experience for us!
