    Birria Tacos The Taco Shop
    Anne W.

The Taco Shop is in the old Wilco space. My daughter and I ate there for lunch today and it was every bit as good as I'd heard. We shared queso and chips and both of us got the Birria Tacos. It was a lot of food and I could only finish one delicious taco and am bringing the other two home to enjoy tonight. That dipping sauce is AMAZING!!! We also shared a flan cheesecake. Again, it was a huge portion and my daughter took the rest home with her. The service was top notch and very nice! I will definitely be coming back for more!

Went on a Saturday night around 7:20pm. It was very busy. When we ordered they told us our wait would be about 20-30 mins. We received our food at about 7:50pm. The tables were dirty and the trash was overly full. There were several take out orders being picked up while we waited. They close at 8pm. Our carne asada tacos were delicious! I didn't love the chips and salsa. My daughter said the beans were a bit watery & the rice wasn't very fluffy/soft. We weren't sure if it is typically like that or if it was an off night. It seemed like they didn't have enough people working which was causing the long wait. If the wait wouldn't have been so long & if the tables/inside had been clean I would have given it a 4

Wow! Great street tacos in Franklin/Cool Springs!!! Stopped in for lunch and so glad we did! Their chips and salsa are good! It's a chunky salsa that's mild. If you like spice - their table red and green salsa is amazing! Quesobirria tacos are a must! Generous portion and that consume could be eaten on its own. It's so good! We tried the Carne Asada, Al Pastor and Carnitas tacos and all were delicious! Each taco was filled with a generous portion of meat and topped with fresh cilantro and onions! They corn tortillas the use are really good and remind me tacos back in LA! A must if you like Mexican street food!

I saw this place on Yelp and my wife wanted to go. The food on my end was really good. My wife didn't like the steak street taco. She said it wasn't seasoned correctly. My quesobirria tacos were pretty decent. Along with good customer service and a decent vibe, this place isn't bad at all!

Yummy Birria tacos! On their advice, we ordered the Birria tacos and I'm so happy I did! They were delicious and I had to get a box to take home leftovers that didn't last long because I started craving the yummy flavor again with a couple of hours We will be back to try more items on the menu!

5 Stars! The food was delicious! I enjoyed both items that was purchased. I loved how they crisped the burrito which gave it a Baja feel to the food. I also appreciated the amount of meat that was in both items (burrito and the birria pizza). Both items were well seasoned and full of taste! The staff was kind! We came in at a rush hour and I could tell that the workers were being efficient with getting orders out as quickly as possible. The ambiance was a beach feel. I would be interested to see if they lean into this feel! Since this is newly opened, I can tell that they are still working at getting the interior together with decorations and personalizations to The Taco Shop. Overall, very yummy food with great service and a place to enjoy it! I would recommend and I am definitely going to be a regular here.

We just tried The Taco Shop in Franklin and it was absolutely delicious. I ordered the Quesabirria Tacos, and they were incredible--crispy, cheesy, and loaded with perfectly seasoned shredded beef. The rich beef consommé for dipping was divine and took them over the top. Honestly, some of the best tacos in Williamson County. We also had the shrimp taco with cabbage and chipotle mayo, plus a street taco with beef, onions, and cilantro, and everything was fresh and full of flavor. The portions were generous too--I could only eat one of my quesabirria tacos, so my husband gets the other two for dinner tonight! Service: 5/5 Food: 5/5

The food here is amazing! I highly recommend. Their burritos and chimichangas are excellent. Service was great and atmosphere is laid back and casual!

It holds up well and is spot on for a classic NY style pie. Sal's is in a great spot in the complex, as being on the corner gives them premium space that includes a nice sized dining room plus a small patio. This was the email I sent: "Two friends and I had a 7:15 PM reservation at Culaccino on January 10. Our server was Lee. Things started out fine, but we found ourselves quickly being subjected to Lee's somewhat aggressive approach to service. He honestly was the least personable server I've ever experienced, and had a very condescending manner. A misunderstanding occurred on my friend's order. She was brought a dish with pork in it, which was not what she ordered. Mistakes happen, but Lee was not at ALL nice or accommodating about it, laying the blame on her, and bringing it up multiple times during our meal, with a snarky and resentful undertone. After we paid, he walked up, dropped our checks, and walked away without a word. It was the first time in my life I've ever been tempted to leave zero tip. My conscience for some reason would not allow me to follow through on this, but it was as undeserved as any gratuity I've ever left. We wanted dessert, but we ended up going elsewhere due to how we'd been treated. We also had no clue we would be charged $6 a person for water! Perhaps something that could be mentioned during the ordering process. I've honestly never had a more disappointing dining experience. I loved the ambiance of the restaurant and had hoped to come back for a date night, but our experience left such a bad impression, I can't imagine spending additional money here. I'm not sure if other diners have had this experience with Lee, but we certainly did not feel welcome or valued as customers and felt it was important to make you aware." The food was fine, but most dishes needed salt- so basic. The lack of response from management, however, really says everything one needs to know about Culaccino. I'd truly recommend spending your dining dollars elsewhere.

While the location is technically in a great area of Franklin, the parking situation has become an absolute nightmare as the city continues to grow. It's honestly getting harder and harder to enjoy going there because of the traffic and lack of parking nearby. I also feel like the customer service has gone downhill recently. I used to have much friendlier experiences there, but the last few times I've visited, the staff seemed less welcoming and the overall atmosphere just felt off compared to what it used to be. It was a fun routine to always come to Mellow Mushroom after the Franklin Art Crawl.
