Very close to San Diego quality taco shop food. I recommend the carne asada fries (I added guac and pico de gallo for extra). Reminds me of Santana's fries in SD. Carne was full of flavor. They also have very flavorful salsas too. read more

Doesn't look like much from the outside but they have an extensive menu. The place is clean and the food is delicious and authentic. Rafael was very nice and friendly. I had a crispy ground beef taco and my sister had a "Happy Meal" which consisted of taquitos and a tostada. Will definitely visit again the next time I'm in Franklin. read more

This is the place to go in Franklin for authentic tacos. They also have barrio tacos and birria quesadillas - my favorite! My last visit I had a birria taco and a chorizo taco, and they were both on point. They give you the option for Cali style or Mexican. read more

West coat indeed! Growing up on the cental coast of cali this is what i grew up on. I was legit looking for a west coast chimichanga, as they just hit differently. The crunch fried tortilla cracks open to reveal the fajita beef and beens inside. Taking me back to my roots. The pastor taco was definitely good, but the chimichanga was the star of the show. This place is downright awesome. The guy working up front was extremely kind. You could tell he really cared about his customers. I'm hesitant to order guacamole at most places, but this place's is full of flavor! The chips were hot and fresh, and the birria taco was amazing. Only thing I have to say is there was a little bit of fat in the birria taco which I'm not crazy about, but hey, more flavor ‍ The cucumber like agua Fresca was really good too. read more

I've been to the location near the airport and this one, near downtown franklin. It's a shame birrias aren't terribly common at the spots near my house since this is quite the drive. Regardless, solid spot for good food. I had 5 birrias w the consommé on the side. $4 a taco if you're wondering. Menu pics on yelp look accurate. Would go again. read more

This place was NOT good. At 8:15pm, in a nearly empty restaurant, they told us it would be 5 minutes for the 5 tacos ordered. The reality was closer to 20. We tucked in and found the meat cold and everything ordered was flavorless - even the al pastor, which was incredibly sad. We mostly came for the birria, so I was hopeful it would be better. Not so much. Meat was fatty and just not exciting. It had zero flavor, cup of consommé broth also had zero flavor, and the birria tacos were the only ones not double wrapped with a second tortilla (why?!), so of course as soon as I picked it up, it completely fell apart, all contents falling out on the plate and into my lap, which was extremely frustrating. Bottom line: at $4 per taco, I would never come back. 2 stars only because it was edible and the server was friendly. Having grown up in California though, I can't imagine this place staying in business on the west coast. read more

I have been in TN for the last 7 years and I never had such a good birria tacos like these especially been a Mexican, the consomé was so good same as the salsas that come with it, we also try the fish tacos and they were incredible good, everything was so good that we even get tacos for to go. Lol. I definitely come back. read more

Amazing. I Loved it. I tried the shrimp taco, carne asada and carnitas. I make a better carnitas at home that I stole from la people but their carnitas are really close--just could be slightly sweeter. Their carne asada is FIRE. Their shrimp? FIRE. The sauce? fire. Love love love this place. Do not be discouraged by the hole in the wall--that means it's a good place! Love the people there and love the food. Amazing! read more
