We came here with a big group on a random Sunday afternoon and they were able to accommodate. But I would suggest calling ahead of time if you have a big group. Parking can be hectic as you have narrow streets and a lot of pedestrians. The structures usually have plenty of spaces available. The food was good. The portions were decent for the price. They have beer, cocktails, mocktails and flavored agua fresca. The waiter was patient and took all of our orders in a timely manner. The food was bland and not very good. Nachos didn't have any cheese and when we brought this to the waiters attention they said that was common complaint. Took the entire meal for the waiter to bring us queso to make the nachos actual nachos. The waiter was not responsive or helpful. We stopped in here for some additional libations after dining in a different part of town. It was close to our hotel so we got dropped off here. Full Disclosure, we were going to go to the Wine Bar, but they had a private event that night. The bartender was friendly and talked us into trying a new tequila that was pretty good. We also had a few margaritas and they were pretty good. The House tasted a bit "fake" so not sure what they're using for mix, but the upper scale ones (at the bottom of the menu) were a lot better. It's worth the extra couple of bucks. We didn't eat anything, but some bar snacks like chips/salsa or something would have been nice with close to $100 in drinks purchased between 2 people. Maybe that's just how they roll or they forgot. I feel like most bars in Mexican restaurants had something. Came by for margaritas and apps with some friends and thought the food was tasty! We did go towards the end of the night (a little more than a hour before they close), so maybe that is why, but it did feel like service was really slow. There wasn't many people in the restaurant, and we were only a party of 4 so it didn't feel like we were too big. The margaritas are STRONG which was a great surprise. Sometimes you just never know if you're going to taste more tequila or mixer. Great recommendation on the new burrito option (I've only ever had the tacos...and dirty queso, which are also amazing!)...literally one of the best burritos I've ever had. I was super excited to try Condado which now has several convenient spots in Nashville. I was sadly disappointed by their tacos I believe they were prepared correctly but just weren't very good. I didn't like that rice was added as an ingredient in the specialty tacos. It isn't needed and was a bland white rice and didn't add to the flavor. I tried shrimp taco which was surprising spicy but not flavorful and one of the brisket tacos. Service was efficient but forgetful. The dips were very good though! The Franklin TN location is a ZERO stars establishment. Never given a restaurant a low rating but this place is terrible. My first time in and they tell me that they are on at least a 30 minute wait for a takeout order. Condado Tacos debuted in Columbus, Ohio, in 2014 before spreading to six additional states. The franchise arrived in Tennessee in the fall of 2021, beginning with a spot in Nashville's Capitol Hill neighborhood that August. Ten weeks later, this particular store opened in the trendy McEwen Northside community on the southern periphery of Cool Springs. The block-long western branch of Aspen Grove Drive is filled with fashionable eateries anchoring towering office buildings, and Condado brings dining diversity to the scene. But does it measure up to the competition, including several highly touted taco options within a mere three miles? Pros: The variety of proteins and toppings is impressive, from cilantro-lime aioli and chipotle crema to tequila-lime steak and Korean BBQ pulled jackfruit. The beef brisket and roasted chicken are great bases for tacos and nachos. The pickled onions add tremendous flavor to any dish. The fajita peppers are decent, but their corn salsa is a better option. Cons: Nothing is hot. At all Condado Tacos, it is standard protocol for all dishes to come out cold, which is acceptable for tacos but an odd choice for nachos! The pepper jack cheese is listed as spicy on the menu, but it's pretty bland. It's also served cold and not melted into your nachos. The Middlefield smoked cheddar is flavorless. For that matter, any cheese on any dish is incredibly sparse! The chips and corn tortilla shells are too thick for my preference, and the house-made chorizo is underwhelming. This is essentially a glorified Taco Bell for a lot more money and slightly better ingredients. But at least the brisket is pretty memorable, the environment is great, and the servers are wonderful. read more

My wife wanted to try this place. I didn't really feel like paying $ 5.00 for a taco. We went today, and I'm glad we went. Sunday, around 11.00 am. Service was good. The interior was painted, almost like graffiti, but I can dig it. They had several TV's to watch the game .We are definitely going back. They had a full bar and specialty alcoholic beverages. If you can't find a taco on the menu that you like, you can create or build your own taco with the ingredients that you prefer. read more

This is my first Yelp review, and I'm writing it to express just how bad our experience here was, if that tells you anything. We were the only people there eating and it was just BAD. The entire restaurant felt very unclean and unprofessional. The waitress was in pajamas and just not helpful. There was also a worker eating their dinner at the bar (again, we were the only people there) and the whole experience was just bizarre and felt so unclean. My company actually ordered from this restaurant for an office catered lunch for about 40 people - And I have to say it was pretty good. Since I moved from CO to TN there is really NO good Mexican food here in TN - but this place had that Tex-Mex flair to it- I loved the taco shells, they were not like the generic store bought kind they were freshly made, crispy and toasted to perfection. We were actually pleasantly surprised by this place. I love the concept of being able to get any and all toppings without being robbed per topping with extra prices. The nachos were filling and evenly coated with toppings. My only complaint was in my bowl, I asked for light rice, but the entire bowl was rice. Maybe she didn't hear me or maybe that was a lighter version, but next time I know to say no rice at all. Outside of that, it really was a great meal that wasn't too pricey. Lovely evenings in Franklin are best spent dining outdoors and Condado Tacos has a great outdoor space. Also looked like a nice indoor spot. Our server was quite friendly and responsive. Gave us an extra moment to review the menu without making us feel forgotten. I had the Marguerita Sampler: Jalepeno, Pineapple and Pomegranate. Jalepeno was definitely the best. The pomegranate was really too sweet for me. Fun idea, a bit on the pricey side for what you get. For dinner I had the traditional taco and the Blue Dream. Traditional was a bit plain taste wise. I was looking forward to checking this place out, but have to say we walked out from our experience underwhelmed. I will start off in saying the environment itself is fun and funky with good music and the staff was awesome - very attentive at the Bar (Ronnie & another female employee - sorry I forgot your name - were fantastic). If I could base my review on that experience alone it would be a 4-5 star. My issue was the food and drink, which is a staple with any Mexican cuisine! The house margarita pitcher was during HH, so tried to give it a bit of grace, but after drinking it, I would be never order it again. It tasted completely like a not so great, pre-made lime mix from a liquor store. Presentation was cute, but I would not order that...maybe try a different margarita? ‍ The chips were good and so were the dips, so on that! We tried the following dips: Pineapple Salsa, Pico Guacamole & Queso with Corn and all were good. But the tacos....Meh. The best taco we had was the Brisket one (Braised & Confused taco) and it was decent: meat was good and so was the pickled part but it had a lot of toppings. Also the soft tortillas they serve with the taco are cold, so that threw me off. We also had the Korean BBQ taco and it was average...I've had some amazing ones in my life and this one wasn't high in the list - overly sweet and the cheese sauce was hard and cold pretty quickly. Also had a steak taco (Bad Habit taco) that had this weird cinnamon cumin flavor, which I thought was odd and they explained it's part of the chorizo...just let chorizo be on its own without too much seasoning, it works! Most of the food temp was lukewarm with a cold soft tortilla, and they explained it's because all the toppings were cold, but I thought that was odd. The double tortilla (crispy and a soft tortilla) is interesting, but might work better warmed. Overall not sure I would come back. We were excited about this place opening up, but it's probably more of a grab some chips & dip and beer place. Good tacos in a new location at McEwen Northside with a cool vibe, with a menu that is rather extensive and very customizable. The food is a little mixed. The Avocado Ranch dressing for example is excellent. I found the ground beef to not have very much flavor. The Kewl Ranch hard taco shell was delicious. The Korean BBQ taco wasn't as flavorful as I would have expected. Mixed overall, but if you find the right ingredients you can get a great taco. Top Tip: If you get a flavored hard shell taco (like the delicious Kewl Ranch) DO NOT go with the option to have a soft flour tortilla added to the outside. If you do, you won't really taste the hard shell taco. The service was a little bit slow, but I chalked that up to the place being new, and probably short-staffed like so many businesses right now. I was happy with the food overall, and have realized that you really need to find the right flavors to build a taco that is great versus just good. I strongly recommend using the Build Your Own option so you can customize any taco just the way you like it. The vibe is really great too, with graffiti-style murals on all of the walls, in an open space, with outdoor tables available as well. read more
